Under the Umbrian Sun!.

The house, property, and location all contributed to our delightful stay in Umbria. Rarely if ever have we felt such regret to leave a place. Living the dream!

It was a most charming house and exactly the Italian atmosphere we were hoping for. Out in the country but just a short drive from Amelia and other hill villages. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. We did have to pay for the heating fuel which was not out of line. Our only complaint was a foul odor in the downstairs bathroom which we were told they plan to look into. The hostess was very sweet and kind.

Schatzhaus

Dear Annette, Thank you for this glowing review! I am so glad you had such a wonderful time in my home. It makes me very happy when guests appreciate my house. I hope you had the chance to make use of the kitchen fireplace to cook the delicious Umbrian sausages and steaks the region is known for. You were the perfect guests - you were conscientious and communicative, and you left the house very tidy and neat. It would be an absolute pleasure hosting you again! Warmly, Elena

Evelyne and her family were perfect guests and left everything in order notwithstand the fact that the washing machine broke down after they used twice- we now have a new fantastic one. They were able to visit different beautiful places of Umbria every day, since my house is at the center of the region and only two km away from a medioeval town, Amelia. The position in a hill , the thick walls of the house and the wood around makes it pleasant even in the hottest days of the summer.
