Great location! The place was clean and decorated beautifully. Check in was great. Only suggestion is the hallway stairs leading to the apartment were very steep and dark. Apartment was wonderful though!

Perfect location for real residential vibe

My young adult kids LOVED this place. The quirky entry and walk-up nature no big deal. Hilly neighborhood. Just down the street is a wonderful park square full of young people/students hanging out with great restaurants and bars. Felt totally safe and fun- great positive vibe. Comfy and clean.

Beautiful area to stay in Lisbon

Loved the location and the little neighborhood bars and restaurants, just down the street. Short walk to the other more populated areas, and after a day in city, was nice to retire to a peaceful area.

L’appartement pourrait être très bien

Cet appartement pourrait être tres bien... Mais climatisation en panne et la personne qui nous accueille semble le découvrir alors qu’il y a un ventilateur et des radiateurs à brancher donc la panne ne doit pas être récente ! L’appartement est très bien placé mais même au 4eme, dormir les fenêtres ouvertes avec le bruit de la ville est quasi impossible ! Et le reste des attentions est identique : aucun produit ménager : pas de liquide vaisselle, pas de torchon, pas de sel, poivre, huile, vinaigre, café... quand on vient en avion, on n’a pas forcément tout prévu, surtout si on ne reste que 3 nuits. Idem pour la machine à laver. Le strict minimum en serviette, sachant qu’en l’absence de torchon on a du utiliser une serviette ! Bref, un appartement très bien mais un accueil vraiment pas à la hauteur

Other than the four flights of stairs (which we were aware of) and the somewhat dark hallway (although I do like the timed out lighting feature), the apartment was very comfortable. Perfect location for what we were looking for, a local square with restaurants, coffee shop, grocery store very close. Expected the noisy street action - part of the reality of city life. One suggestion to proprietor - right before a guest stays, you should mop the floor - our feet were black from walking around (even though we should have been wearing our Crocs for that) and this happened to us at various VRBO stays over there - floor very dirty and perhaps it's the city grit, I don't know. Otherwise, very clean. Always a good idea to leave instructions for the appliances, particularly the washing machine as they differ from USA. We ran into this at other VRBO's as well.

Lejligheden er under middel

Min mand og jeg holdt ferie i Lissabon sammen med et hold venner, lejligheden havde en god beliggenhed og der var tæt til indkøb og restauranter, men ellers levede den ikke op til beskrivelsen på hjemmesiden. Der manglede lås på døren til bad og toilet, dørene til soverummene lukkede ikke tæt, der var ekstremt lydt, når vi forsøgte at lave mad sprang sikringerne og vi kunne kun få udlevet et sæt nøgler til lejlighed og hoveddør . En af os har allergi så da vi ankom valgte vi at fjerne de duftlys og duftpinde som var placeret rundt i lejligheden og dermed troede vi problemet med lugtgener var løst? Men duftpinde og lys var formodentligt placeret for at skjule en ekstrem dårlig lugt fra væggen mellem stue og soverum. Vi har orienteret ejer om problemet, ejeren beklager men anerkender ikke problemet.

Best location in Lisbon and potentially great apartment, but a little bare bones

As my title indicates, the location is amazing; Principe Real is in the heart of the best part of the city; quiet, not very touristy, great food, shops, etc. walk to everything. The apartment itself is large enough , with a great kitchen w/ clothes washer, and a deck with a nice, open view over the city rooftops. It is on the top floor on a pretty quiet street. It could have been made much more comfortable with even one rug on the hardwood flooring, comfortable beds and couch, and good towels, as opposed to the two small thin ones we were given for a 9 day stay. It did not feel homey at all, as opposed to other HomeAway apartments I have rented in Lisbon. It would take very little to make it more comfortable and a place I would want to repeatedly come back to.

Great location, clean, and appointed.

First visit in Portugal and my hosts could not have been nicer. Miguel, Alexandra and the team were attentive and helped with the transition from the airport and coordinating entry to the unit. Lovely balcony with a nice view, and within walking distance to food, restaurants, grocery stores, and public transportation. Some things could stand improvement, but “perfection” and price point are balanced in this case. The unit was very clean which was appreciated. We would stay there again. If you are not in reasonable shape, you will have a challenge with the 4 flights of stairs, and with this part of town, as the property is on a hill.

Ristrutturato e accogliente

Ottimo appartamento, eccezionale accoglienza e professionalità. Manca solo qualche pentolino. Non si trova parcheggio e quando si trova è a pagamento (1,20 euro/ora dalle 9 alle 24).

Zuhause-Gefühl in coolem Viertel

Sehr coole, moderne Wohnung in ausgezeichneter Lage. Wir haben uns fast wie zuhause gefühlt! Die Nachbarschaft ist eher beschaulich, nur zwei Straßen weiter jedoch pulsiert das Leben, bzw. findet man auch in den ruhigeren Nebenstraßen nette kleine Restaurants. Also eine gute Mischung. Bushaltestellen sind in 5, die U-Bahn (Rato) in ca. 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Wir sind allerdings immer zu Fuß unterwegs gewesen. Stramme Waden sind vorprogrammiert! Die Ausstattung ist prima. Einziges Problem war es in der Gegend Nespresso-Kapseln aufzutreiben. Aber für morgens nach dem Aufstehen tut es schon auch mal ein Pulverkaffee. Mit dem Vermieter hat die Kommunikation auch meistens gut geklappt. Zur Not findet man aber hilfsbereite Nachbarn!;-) Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall empfehlen und sie auch wieder buchen.

Appartement clair et calme

Nous avons apprécié le côté paisible de ce quartier situé à côté du métro "Rato" à la lisière du centre animé de Lisbonne. Notre hôte nous a accueilli chaleureusement. L'appartement est charmant, calme, fonctionnel et très clair avec une belle vue sur les toits de Lisbonne. L'adorable "Praça das Flores", située en contrebas de notre rue, permet de se reposer en fin de journée et de côtoyer les lisboètes. Pour information, l'appartement est situé au quatrième étage sans ascenseur. Bonne visite à Lisbonne !
