Great rental

Very spacious for my husband and I and 4 teens. We love the Sapphire and this unit was perfectly stocked and very comfortable for all of us. Will be booking again.

Perfect!

Everything was amazing about our stay! Close to the beach, near the water park, a fantastic pool (with a kiddie pool at the beach end), and the mini movie theater was so much fun! I am definitely going to try to book this again for next year!

First time to South Padre Island!

The condo was beautifully decorated, was very clean and had everything we needed to cook nice meals. The ocean and bay views were fantastic. The facility's pool, gym and hot tub were were very well maintained and wonderful. Just what we had hoped for. We had a great time!

Great place to stay!

Everything was very nice and clean. We had six in our group and plenty of room as the place is nicely spread out Host and front desk were super friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

Family spring break

Amazing condo. Amazing location. Joan was great, always available via text for recommendations. Condo had everything you needed. Family with kids 3-21 and Everyone had space and loved the pool and beach.

Perfect condo!

This condo was perfect for our family! From cleanliness to amenities, it was great! The complex is very nice and in a good location. Joan is a pleasure to work with and has thought of everything. The decor is so cute and she has the placed stocked with all the necessities. She also provides beach towels, chairs, and some toys if you need them. The beach was nice, not too crowded, and the water was beautiful while we were there. This condo exceeded our expectations and was a great place to relax after all of our fun SPI activities! We can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful condo

We had a great stay. The condo was nice and clean. The Sapphire's pool was murky however which was disappointing because we stay here for the pool. The front desk was unhelpful and said something was wrong with the pump. It wasn’t fixed during our stay but the host did Venmo us money to get passes for the pool next door which was clear.

Nicer than advertised

This place was beautiful!! Views of the gulf and the bay. Great gym, rec room and big screen theater we watched wake forest basketball. Place was well maintained and everything worked. Owner was very hospitable and helpful. A+

Wonderful & Cozy Condo

We had a fabulous stay in SPI. The condo had everything we could have needed and for our 5 nights there. The Sapphire as a whole was very nice, clean & quiet. The host was excellent at communicating from the time we booked to the time that we checked out. We were a last minute booking thanks to my spontaneity & they handled everything very quickly to make it happen. Thank you so much for allowing us to visit your little piece of paradise!

Great floor plan for 2 couples

I chose this unit for both an oceanside & lagoon side balcony accessed within the unit, & also the half bath. The east bedroom has a window & king bed- both are a huge plus. It was a great floor plan for two couples.

We loved the luxurious comfort of this spacious condo.

The condo is located in a high end building located directly on the gulf with fabulous views and beach access. The French country decor is charming as well as comfortable with lots of decorative touches not usually found in a rental unit. The kitchen is quite well equipped and the marble baths are stunning. An extra plus is having Netflix etc. for entertainment. We give this condo the highest marks.

SPI Coastal Paradise

We absolutely loved this condo. 6 adults stayed with plenty of room as that 3rd half bath was great to have. The weather was cool and there is a gorgeous non- heated pool (very cold pool) but the heated spa was wonderful. The views are amazing from the 13th floor deck! The elevator was so fast! The luggage carts helped us get all of our bags etc up to the room. The beds were comfortable and showers were great. The kitchen was supplied with all items you need. Very friendly staff that were at the desk 24/7. Nice washer and dryer equipped with laundry soap. Lots of beach toys but the chairs maybe could be replaced with new ones. We couldn’t have picked a better location and were so happy to have stayed here. We will be back!!

If you want to pay to stay in a prison, this is the place for you-I would put ZERO stars if i could!

I rented this condo for my family and I to enjoy a much-needed break. I didn’t realize that the owner was going to interrogate me, and the condo had more rules than a prison. As soon as I made the first installment of a very expensive condo in January, the owner contacts me and asks me personal questions about my children. As a parent, I was very wary of this and did not answer these questions. Why would she need to know a little something about my kids – we are renting a condo from her – not going on a date. In February, I emailed the owner back to let her know that I was going to be bringing 2 nieces and 2 nephews as I was taking care of them as their parents were out of town (BTW- this brought the count to 8 and that is what is allowed in the condo). Suddenly, the world exploded. The owner told me I could only bring family. I explained as they are part of my family and in my care, I am not certain what the issue was. She proceeded to tell me that they only allow birth children. Yes, you read that right. Only children that are LEGALLY mine. So, for all of those out there with blended families, or you take care of your nieces, nephews etc. this hotel is NOT for you. They do not want you there and will make NO exceptions. The owner emailed she called the office manager and my nieces and nephews were NOT allowed but I could certainly call and speak to Alfonso if I wanted. I did this and asked what I should do. He said, it doesn’t hurt to ask for a refund and if she won’t, you can always call the credit card company and dispute it. I called the owner to ask her if she could refund the money and explain the situation and she of course never returned my call, but she emailed me to let me know there was no as we had missed the window. After a few more messages with this same tone, I stopped emailing her and realized I had to come up with a new plan. The owner then continued emailing me to ensure I was ONLY bringing myself, my husband and my 2 children to the condo. Safe to say, renting from this owner has been one of the worst experiences of my life. While I view renting through VRBO as a business transaction, this owner seems to use is as a place to bully and harass people. If you want to control what the people who rent your place do, you really should pull it off VRBO. And to top it off, the cable in the condo that we rented would not work for most of the time. What a waste!
