We felt very safe in the St. Elmo area and it was easy to get around. This house was pet-friendly, which was important for our senior Yorkie. Since I love a cool house, I was extremely pleased with the AC! We met a few neighbors who were very friendly. Communication with the owner/agent was great!

This home is for you if you want an excellent location to Lookout Mountain, downtown, and hiking northwest of the city. The bungalow was very clean, well appointed with everything we needed, in a quiet, safe area. It speaks volumes that we did not need to contact the property owner a single time!

St. Elmo is absolutely a dream location for a small family like mine. Here, our hosts were very responsive and respectful. Anyone on a family vacation will enjoy this home and friendly area.

Charming and comfortable

The location for Lookout Mountain was the best. We also enjoyed neighborhood walks and the hike/bike trail right out front. The house was perfect. It was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and we were especially thankful for excellent AC since we were there during a heatwave. We loved Ruby Falls and Rock City which were both fun escapes from the heat as well.

Beautiful Home in a Lovely Neighborhood

So thankful for the opportunity to stay in your beautiful home! It was exactly as described…everything needed for a relaxing stay. The neighborhood and neighbors were super friendly and everyone seem to have a sweet puppy dog. Thank you again.

We loved this little house! It was a reasonable distance from everything we wanted to do. I like that it was on a one way street with a walking lane. Loved the industrial decorations! I could see that the hosts had an appreciation for art and artists. It was clean and stocked well! My kids loved having the park that was about a 3 minute walk away. Our little dog Charlie very much enjoyed his stay too! If you are in the area, I recommend Rock City, The Tennessee Valley Railroad and spending a day exploring downtown Chattanooga with no itinerary. I was trying to add photos but they wont add so sorry about that.

Great cottage and perfect area!

This cottage was perfect for our family of four. It was very close to St. Elmo and all the attractions in Chattanooga and Lookout mountain. We had the best spring break getaway! Kitchen was fully stocked and loved having the washer and dryer so we didn’t go home with dirty clothes!

Nice little cottage. The location was 10 minutes from hmy daughter's house. About the same to downtown Chattanooga. We are from Chattanooga originally,so I can say without reservation that this would the ideal location for seeing the sights and sounds in and around Chattown

Lovely Family Trip

Perfect bungalow for our little family. It was our boy's first trip away from home and this was a wonderful place for us to stay. Went to the aquarium and park downtown, enjoyed time in the yard, and loved the new playground nearby

Great Base Camp!!

We love VRBO and are excited about creating new spaces to show off our neighborhood. We enjoy working with local artists and creating spaces for them to flourish, this is our passion. We have two rambunctious and adventurous children that keep us on our toes and feeling young!

Enjoy the neighborhood park, the abundant hiking trails that lead to waterfalls and majestic Tennessee views. St Elmo is teaming with locally owned and operated businesses. Our own neighborhood pub, Moccasin Bend Brewing Company, where you can meet the locals or take home a growler (you can also bring your dogs). Visit Mojo Burrito, delicious food in a hip environment, 1885 Restaurant for a more upscale dining experience, don't miss out on their incredible fresh water trout blackened or grilled, or St. Elmo's own Purple Daisy and dine on a BBQ sandwich. St. Elmo Deli will provide you with the perfect lunch on the run. Don't forget Mr.T's Pizza and hand scooped ice cream that has been in the neighborhood for over 20 years!!!! The choices are endless!

See seven states from Rock City, visit the nation's largest and deepest underground waterfall at Ruby Falls, take a short ride on the Incline Railway to ascend and descend Lookout Mt, where you have access to amazing views from the top of Lookout Mountain from Point Park, or visit Sunset Rock. We are a mere 5 miles from downtown Chattanooga. Enjoy the river front at Ross's landing on the banks of the Tennessee River, visit the Tennessee Aquarium, and walk right down Broad St and enjoy a Moon Pie! How would you like to see the Hunter Museum or take a walk across the nation's longest pedestrian bridge to Coolidge park in North Chattanooga?
