We appreciate you taking time to leave your feedback. The home is as pictured as far as furnishings & appliances. The home is personally owned & decorated per the owners preferences. If we heard from you during your stay or knew of issues you may have had, we'd have been glad to assist. Unfortunately, with no information, there's little we can do. The home is regularly cleaned by housekeeping & has regular lawn, pool, AC, pest control & upkeep services provided. We wish you the best in your future travels!

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the home didn’t meet your expectations, but we’re also surprised, as we never received any communication from you during your stay. We would have been happy to assist with any concerns, including the spa temperature or shower access, had we known there was an issue. Regarding USB-compatible outlets, while they are becoming more common in newer builds and high-end renovations, they are still far from standard in most homes and should not be expected. We wish you the best in your future travels.

Regrettably your review is disappointing, misleading and comes as a surprise as we never heard from you about any issues or concerns during your stay. We certainly would have done our best to help you had you reached out. For the sake of others reading your review, we don't understand your reference to "the home remotely micromanaged by the owner". Guests have access to the home thermostat and can set the thermostat as prescribed in the guest check-in instructions they receive 2 days before check-in. Because SW Florida is a sub-tropical climate, we and the owner request during the hot humid months of the year, mostly between May-November, the thermostats not be set below 74 degrees. If a thermostat is set below 74 degrees during the hotter months in our area, the AC's don't reach 74 degrees anyway and the AC coils freeze up at a minimum and cause the AC to be down for 1-2 days, and at the worst will damage a coil and call for expensive repairs in addition to the AC being down for potentially several days. Not a good thing to happen when it's 100 degrees+ in the hotter months. During the winter months when the outdoor temps are typically under 85 degrees, the thermostats can be turned down to 70-72 degrees as northerners are more accustomed to without causing damage to the AC or freezing it up. As regards the pool heater, the property description says the following: Pool heaters do not run May-October. Pool thermostats are set to 84-86 degrees between Nov-April. Local weather, daytime & nighttime temperatures will affect the actual pool temperatures. So, it is advertised and sorry you didn't read it. The owner provides a pool solar cover in the winter months to help prevent as much water heat loss as possible over night during the cooler temps when the pool isn't running. We recommend guests keep the pool covered when not using the pool and especially overnight. Additionally, this owner doesn't charge extra for pool heat like many or most do in Cape Coral. We're truly sorry you didn't enjoy your time and regret we never heard from you until reading your review.

Hi Lisa - we were disappointed to receive this inaccurate review. Our team has communications with you regarding your stay & we're glad to have the chance to clarify your statements. Regarding the pool & sitting tub, the property description is clear that pool heaters do not run May - October. Furthermore, it states that the pool is heated & has a sitting pool; not a hot tub. There is also further information provided that specifies what the sitting pool is & operational instructions are provided. This was explained to you & also showed to you as a reminder; if you happened to overlook the info from the description prior to booking, that's not on us or the owner. Day time temps are well into the 90's and evening temps are mid-70's; the pool is not cool. The decor in the home is as pictured so that should have been no surprise if you looked through the photos provided. Regarding the "electrical issues", there was a tripped breaker & it was recommended to you by our team to check the breaker. The summer rainstorms sometimes cause outages/power surges. Again, nothing we or the owner can control; just a part of nature & an east fix. It sounds like you chose not to follow the recommendation. The grill provided is propane; there is no way to make it hotter or colder for cooking. Lastly, management did not try to make you leave the home by noon on any day. Your constant complaints & unwillingness to work with our team made it evident that you were unhappy with the home so you were given the option to leave if you wanted to find other accommodations. We recommend that in your future travels, you make sure to read the information provided in the property descriptions & ask questions ahead of time. We wish you the best in your future travels!

Regarding the AC, the owner controls the settings remotely while it's vacant, but guests are allowed to adjust as guided once checked in. The pool is heated November through April; summer temps keep pools warm outside of those months.
