Great stay

This condo was much bigger than we thought it would be from the pictures. Clean, two stories, 3 full bedrooms and baths. 10 minute drive to Sugar Mountain ski resort. Would stay again.

Awesome spot!!

Very nice space close to Sugar and Grandfather Mountain. The deck had a lovely view, beds were comfy, and kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great! We arrived to a non working oven for a party of 5, and a none working fireplace. I would recommend more lighting overhead in each bedroom besides one lamp in a bedroom. Blinds need wands to open them up in the bedrooms and a good spider web cleaning would be helpful. Coffee condiments would had been a nice touch! I stay in multiple VRBO’s & Airbnb’s with work and vacations but this was not to my satisfaction.

Good property, poor management

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The actual unit is fine and comfortably housed our party of 6. The property took a little getting used to as it is an older unit - the heaters don’t match up with the thermostat, limited hot water, etc. However, the management of this unit is sub par, to say the least. They gave our key and unit info to the wrong party and were unable to retrieve it (suggested I go up and ask them to leave). Once we got to the unit, we had to scrape ice off two flights of steps (after one member of our party fell). We were given the wrong WiFi password at check in. Additionally, management did not answer the phone when we tried to contact them (4 separate times throughout the trip).

The condo did not have any air conditioning and the master bedroom only had a very small exterior window. In July it was very uncomfortable even a fan would have helped. Internet did not work and we had no cell service. The condo was spacious and would have been great any other time of the year. Had a lot of stairs so be aware especially of the spiral staircase inside the unit.
