We had a wonderful stay around the holidays! The house had everything we needed - including beach towels, an outdoor grill, and a nicely heated pool and hot tub! Check in and communication with the host was a breeze and any questions we had were promptly answered. The hardest part was leaving at the end of our stay!

Excellent stay!

Great house. Great location - walkable to beach, town, fishing piers. Pool was a fantastic addition. Hot tub gets hot! Bob was amazing and was readily available to answer any and all questions. Best host we've ever had. Highly recommend!

What a Gem!

We just had one of the best family vacations ever at Tucked Away! The house had EVERYTHING we needed (it was nice not to have to pack beach towels, beach chairs + umbrella, sand toys, and pool floats). It was comfortable and private, with an amazing, large pool. We spent every evening watching the manatees in the canal from the dock. And our boys swam in the pool from dawn to dusk, when not at the beach or eating ice cream. We made made delicious meals in the kitchen and on the grill- one of the best supplied kitchens of any VRBO we’ve stayed in. We were just minutes from the beach and bay in our golf cart, as well as Pine Ave. We would definitely rent this property again!

Great stay!

We loved Tucked Away! Perfect property for our family (3 adults and 2 kids ages 2 and 4. Bob was very responsive which was much appreciated. Kitchen well stocked, the only thing we didn't have was trash bags. Great location and easily can get everywhere with a golf cart. We will be back!

A Credit to Anna Maria

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay a Tucked Away. The home was laid out very well with lovely views of the pool and the canal. Many great places to sit and relax and enjoy the Florida warmth. The pool and spa were terrific with the pool being unusually large. The canal was a nice feature offering kayaking from the deck (rented), watching the fish jump, watching some wondering manatees, and catching a fews rays. Master bedroom and bath were exceptionally nice and spacious. Great TV and services in the living room that gave way to a wonderful porch overlooking the pool. Garage reasonably well equipped with beach toys. Kitchen was terrific, well-equipped (even a Keurig coffee-maker), and a special treat awaiting us. Bungalow Bob was the best host, friendly and knowledgeable about the property. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Come to think of it, we have booked it again next year!

Our wonderful family get away

We searched for a property that would work for 4 adults and two children, ages 8 and 4. As grandparents we wanted a place that was walking distance to the beach, but also had a pool in case we wanted to stay by the house. We lucked out with Tucked Away. Bob, the manager was helpful throughout our stay and the home was as described, a place to enjoy and relax in. Everyone enjoyed the pool during the day, and then in the evening we would hang out in the lanai. In the late afternoon or early morning we sat on the dock and watched the flying fish. The grandkids got a kick out of taking a bath in the soaking tub in the master bedroom. The bathroom had a huge shower area as well. It was a great place to spend the week and we have wonderful memories of our stay.

This is a MUST Stay!

Where do I begin? We have been going to Anna Maria for several years for our Anniversary. Renting different homes each year. This house was by far one of the best! Tucked away is exactly that. Far enough away from the busy part but close enough to get to local shops and such. We walked every morning whether it was just in the neighborhood or along the beach. Check - in was easy and convenient. Bob's even surprised us with a delicious key lime coconut cake for our Anniversary upon arrival. It was very clean, very kept up. Everything you will need for a great vacation. We spent 3 days on the beach and every night in the hot tub. They made sure things were labeled and instructions were clear which is so thoughtful. They have litterely thought of everything from a cooler, beach chairs, beach cart, beach towels, & beach umbrella. They have a regular coffee maker and a Keurig coffee maker, wine key, blender, nice glasses (not plastic which is a plus for us). The kitchen was very well equipped, the only thing I noticed that I would bring next time is Tupperware which was no big deal this time because I had storage bags that I used for leftovers. FYI the silverware tray for the dishwasher is a thin tray at the top of the dishwasher. You have to lean down to find it🤗. For all the sun lovers: The back dock pretty much gets sun all day, which we loved to sit and watch the manatees and the flying jumping fish. The front of the pool gets sun from 10:30-2:30. The view of the pool and the lights that are strung through the bushes is so relaxing at night. We enjoyed every night in the hot tub and relaxing on the deck. The house itself is so homey and comfortable, along with the beds, pillows and furniture. They have a variety of great books to read ( one of my favorites-Nicholas Sparks), games, and cards. One more thing I will bring next time would be a fan for the master bedroom, although it has a nice ceiling fan (which 1 is for high and 4 is for low) it was a tad warm for me ( being a woman and turning 50 if you know what I mean). All in all a great place to stay and we can't wait to stay again!! Thank you Bob!

Outstanding Home

Beautifully furnished and decorated home with all of the privacy you could ask for. Very peaceful neighborhood. The pool was great. The canal in the back is full of fish that never stop jumping. There were 3 manatees in the canal that we enjoyed watching all week. Highly recommend this property!

Slice of paradise!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home & all it had to offer. The layout is a perfect split plan for a family, especially if you have older kids. It is tastefully decorated & updated very nicely. Living room furniture is roomy & comfy. Our favorite feature of the home was the backyard & pool oasis. It is truly magical!! The landscaping makes it feel like your own little paradise & is so private. The pool is huge & was a great ending to our days at the beach. We loved it so much we spent several days just at home by the pool. We didn't have a boat to bring but the dock would be a great addition to anyone looking for that feature. We saw lots of fish swimming below as well as 2 manatees. Overall, it was a wonderful stay & we would definitely return!! I do want to add that most of these rental homes on Anna Maria give you the bare minimum on supplies. As a VRBO owner in another city who provides all of the items below, it is always shocking to me how there are none of the essentials that I would expect a rental to give at least a few of. I'm hoping by mentioning this it will help others to be aware of how much you really need to bring from home or you will end up purchasing for hefty prices at the store. Expect that there will be no trash bags beyond the first one, no foil, plastic wrap, no spices (very often not even S&P), & you'll only get the smallest roll of paper towels, a roll of TP for each bathroom & small starter soaps. We did have a couple of dishwasher pods that were left by the last guest but ended up having to purchase those as well. Bottom line...bring all of your own kitchen essentials from home!! It will save you a bundle & you'll be prepared from the first day.

Great Stay.

Property was great. On quiet street and relatively short walking distance to beach. Home was very clean and well maintained. Bob was excellent...communicated with us regularly prior to stay and checked in during our stay to make sure all was going well. This was the 4th house we rented on AMI and was easily the best experience thanks to Bob.

Fantastic beach week experience

This property is by far my favorite I have experienced on the island. Bob was friendly, attentive, and easy to reach. The property was clean and well stocked. My teens loved the dock and spent hours fishing with the rods provided. The pool was huge so everyone had fun with the oversized pool floats we brought! Also the beds and pillows were extra comfortable. We all slept like babies!

Wonderful home, close to fun and beach!

This home is beautiful. Great pool and hot tub, lovely outdoor set ups. We cooked in the kitchen and on the grill. Comfortable space for both family and alone time. Bedrooms and bathrooms were updated, comfortable and well outfitted. Would highly recommend.

Amazing Tucked Away Treat!

There is one word to describe our time at Tucked Away and that is Amazing! The home is beautiful and located in a perfect spot on Anna Maria. Just a few blocks from the beach and walking distance to restaurants and Pine Street to shop! Bob, the property manager, was wonderful and made our check in process so easy and was available if we had any questions. The place was so clean and fresh upon our arrival! We consider this our perfect spot to stay!

Great first time to AMI

Tucked away is just as it was pictured and the backyard oasis was even better. The house was extremely well appointed and we weren’t lacking in anything like you find in some rentals. Bob was extremely responsive. A pool repair service was needed and even the week of Thanksgiving he had someone out there the same day! We hope to be back!

Loved our stay!

I highly recommend renting this VRBO. My husband, mom, brother and I all had a great time. The pool is fabulous! I was concerned about mosquitos and other insects but surprisingly there was little to none. Bob was easy to reach and very helpful. I recommend renting a golf cart. The house is walking distance to the beach and some shops on Pine. But the golf cart made it so much easier to explore and park on the island. The master bed is very comfortable! The house was well stocked- we didn’t need to buy anything but groceries. Washer and dryer very quiet. Pretty much anything you need for a good beach trip is in the garage- umbrella, coolers, etc. We brought our fishing kayaks and used the jet ski/kayak float and they fit on there perfectly. Thank you Bob for a great stay. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing property!

We loved our stay at “Tucked Away”. The location is perfect, a short walk to the beach and super cute cafes and shopping. You can even walk to the Rod and Reel Pier! We rented a golf cart but would have been ok without it as I have a small SUV so we really didn’t need it. Parking is tough, not impossible on the island, but having a golf cart doesn’t fix that issue. The house was very comfortable and had great beds. Everyone was happy! The pool area and being on the canal was soooo nice! Loved being able to paddle board off the deck! It’s like a tropical oasis and we spent most of our time out there. We needed to shop for basics such as trash bags, laundry soap and paper towels. Those items are usually available when we rent and for the price of the property you would expect these items to be in the house. No biggie though and it wouldn’t deter me from renting this property again. The kitchen has top of the line appliances and plenty of plates, cups, bowls, cooking items, etc. Publix is about 10min away and had everything else we needed. Amazing vacation and highly recommended property.

Location, Pool.....Everything was perfect

We absolutely loved this property and when back in AMI will definitely stay here. The location is perfect as it is a quiet neighborhood and you will appreciate this as you hear and see the golf cart traffic on other streets. The pool is the largest pool we have ever had at a VRBO and the kids loved it, great step area with umbrella. The house is well decorated and had everything we needed during our stay, stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, chairs and cart for the beach, they have thought of everything. Bob the manager is great to work with!!!

Slice of Paradise

This property exceeded our expectations. The check-in process was very easy and Bob was a great host. We enjoyed our stay so much we have gone ahead and booked for next year!
