Yes it was a true treasure, everything was within an hour. Saw a lot of natural spring water

The only thing I would of recommended was that the outside chairs were washed down because they all were extremely dirty and gross, also having wood for the fire pit. The tv with more stations….. very few options. Beautiful home and loved the background story. I was relaxed which is the most important 😀😀👍👍 thank you and God Bless you

Quirky but clean

The property is clean but dated and quirky. Water heater in same room as the table and it's really loud. Check in instructions mentions a key somewhere but there isn't anything like described so all you need is the pin.

Love!!

This property was absolutely stunning. The backyard was BEAUTIFUL. The house itself was super cute, the beds extremely comfortable. They left smores and gave plenty of communication. Only things i would recommend are screen doors as some bugs do get inside when bringing in luggage. Also a new shower head would be an improvement, the old one has rust on it. Otherwise its perfect. The house has everything you need!

Half way meet up

Haven't seen family in over 3 years, due to COVID concerns....and was nice to find a cozy place to meet half way between our homes. Campfire outside was gorgeous at night.

Our family enjoyed the springs, the restaurants in the area and just relaxing at the house. Clean and comfortable.

A must to go to is the little river spring if you enjoy swimming.

We had a a great time. It was imbued with a lot of country charm. We enjoyed coffee on front porch along with our new found friends the humming bird, who by the way visited us a lot up close. Very much the country experience. If you love dogs there are 3 down the road while on my walks were awsome I truly loved having out with them as well as frequent visits of deer early morning and late evening.

Great time

The location is in a very small town. The home was next to a lot of pine trees and nature. It was a very nice getaway for a trip for tubing in the rivers and trips to the springs. I would definitely stay here again! Amenities were nice.

Country life

This home was small but extremely nice. Had everything we needed and more. Enjoyed fires in the evening while cooking in the grill. Enjoyed our days at all of the beautiful springs close by and playing cornhole that was here at the property.

Weekend Getaway

Thoroughly enjoyed staying here for our quick weekend getaway to hop around to the springs. Kids loved the fire and s’mores every night! Host is responsive and had great recommendations. We will be back for a longer stay soon!

Lovely home. Quiet and peaceful.

Mornings were my favorite

I LOVED sitting on the front porch with my kiddos in the mornings! Woodpeckers doing their thing, squirrels running around the trees, tiny birds pecking around and lizards (which my girls loved) stopped to visit ❤️ The home is very spacious and had the sweetest character! We loved our stay and will be returning! PS!! If you hear a noise that sounds like someone is coming in thru the window, it’s just the hot water heater! My daughter and I got a good laugh once we discovered the “intruder” was just that. Although, she now thinks I would push her in front of me for protection 🤷🏼‍♀️

The cottage was okay for what we had to do but was not exactly what we expected. If you are uncomfortable with scorpions, spiders,grasshoppers and various other bugs, especially in the middle of the night, this might not be the place for you. The cottage was not particularly clean when we arrived. I was not going to write this review but apparently VRBO will not let you rest until you do!!!

Fun Mom and me weekend in the woods.

Very rustic home, but renovated and very clean and neat. 3 Moms and 4 kids had a blast at Ichatucknee Springs. The neighboring property had three large loose dogs so the kids couldn't play outside, but that was ok. It was quite hot out and lots of bugs. Cable and internet were strong. There was a great Italian restaurant in Brandon, Our Place. The beds were very comfortable and although there wasn't central A/C, the 4 window units made it comfortable for a summer in Florida. The only issue we had was the coffee maker. It wouldn't work. The owner left the house almost fully stocked. There was coffee, condiments, toiletries, soups, crackers and candy. They even left skewers and fixings for s'mores. It was a very nice weekend to get together with friends and family.

Cute Cottage Close to the Springs

The O'Brien Home was super clean and offered all the comforts of a home away from home. Royal, Little River and Ichnetucknee Springs were all just a short drive away as well as a gas station and grocery store. We enjoyed our stayed and would recommend this home to anyone planning a trip to the area.
