This house is fantastic, and we’d absolutely stay here again! The working washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen for easily cooking, grill, private beach, pool, dock, paddleboards, kayaks, and all the sea turtles, stingrays, and starfish we saw every day made for an amazing week.Sleeps 10 easy. Both the masters have king-size beds. The other two rooms have two, twin beds. And one room has two smaller beds on the floor. Now for the funny (and helpful) quirks…First, buy extra toilet paper/paper towels. The starter supply is about as optimistic as thinking one bag of chips is enough for a road trip.Second, the house runs on well water. It comes with two 5-gallon jugs of drinking water, which sounds like a lot, until nine people arrive. 5 Gallons lasts about a day, so plan to buy more. They can be refilled down town for 5. Finally, the beds. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to sleep on your grandma’s 1960s guest bed, here’s your chance. They are FIRM. Like “did I accidentally sleep on the dock?” firm. My husband thought they were wonderful. I eventually moved to the couch. If you like a softer mattress, toss a vacuum-sealed 2-inch foam topper in your suitcase—it’ll be the MVP of your vacation. One of the master bedroom A/C units kept blowing a fuse, but the rest of the house stayed nice and cool. Those little quirks wouldn’t stop us from coming back. Just bring water, TP, paper towels, and maybe a mattress topper, and you’ll have an incredible stay!
