Home away from Home!

Beautiful Summerland Property

Such a perfect place to get away from it all; the outdoor space is amazing (succulent envy). Kristin's itinerary tips were very helpful and she was such a responsive host.

Quintessential Weekend Getaway

Four sisters convened in Summerland for a reunion. This home has striking views and provides all the necessities for a spectacular stay. Great location with close access to wine tasting in Ojai, dining in Santa Barbara, and lovely shops in walkable Summerland.

Family trip to Santa Barbara

We couldn’t have picked a better location or home for our family stay from the Pacific NW. The shops in Summerland and beach were a short walk and downtown Santa Barbara a short drive. Loved the outdoor space. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Clean and Easy!

I stayed here on a girls trip and had an amazing time. The house is beautiful and Kristin was incredibly responsive throughout our entire stay, a answering all my questions and giving us great recommendations. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful Home

We very much enjoyed our stay at Kristin’s home. Our family of 5 had ample space and the amenities provided were perfect. The home is beautifully decorated and the outdoor space feels like a tranquil escape! Would definitely go back!

The house was a perfect addition to a girls weekend.

The views were amazing, the neighborhood was quiet and very safe. The Main Street was like a scene out of a movie. The house was cozy and spacious. It was just tge cherry on top of a great weekend get away with friends.

Great Beach Retreat

Lovely Summerland home with sweeping oceans views to the Channel Islands. We were there with family and loved the house, neighborhood and views. Easy access to Santa Barbara and the wine country. Kristin made the whole process seamless. We plan on returning next year.

Summerland

The home served as a good location for us to have a family vacation around Santa Barbara. There is a nice playground for young kids at the bottom of the hill and across the freeway that really helped us get their wiggles out.

Great Trip!

We had a great stay in Santa Barbara and Kristin’s house was perfect for our family of 6. The house was clean, had a great view, and her garden was absolutely beautiful. Downtown summerland was about a 5-10 minute walk from the house (we had coffee every morning downtown :) . Thanks for hosting us and we will be back!

Gorgeous hillside home with a spectacular view

Kristin is a great host. She provides an excellent information packet and is quick to answer any questions. Her home is exceptionally clean and the artwork and furnishings are top notch. Like staying at the Ritz, except better, with views of the mountains and ocean.

Summer in Summerland

We had a wonderful stay here. Kristin was a great host, always very responsive. The property has one of the best yards and views of any VRBO we have ever stayed in. The house is well appointed with all the necessities including a pack ‘n play for our 10 month old grandson. It was in easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants in Summerland, and a short drive to Montecito and Santa Barbara. I highly recommend.

Charming, beautifully decorated home with GORGEOUS view and tons of amenities! Lovely outdoor space with grassy area, beautiful flowers and trees, and loads of places to sit and enjoy the view. Excellent communication from host and very accommodating. Welcome letter and instructions were super clear. Super easy access to beach and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Beautiful views and Garden

My family and I had a wonderful stay here. The location is great in the peaceful/quiet Summerland neighborhood but with a short drive to both downtown Santa Barbara or Monticeto. The house is well appointed both inside and out with everything you need, and the succulent garden is beautiful. Kristin was a fantastic host with great recommendations and made the entire process and stay super easy. I highly recommend it to just relax in the sun or to explore everything Santa Barbara has to offer.

Lovely

This is a lovely property in a cute, quiet, and safe town right next to Montecito and Santa Barbara. The house is spacious and very comfortable, artfully decorated, and super clean. Kristin was a thoughtful host, filling the house with amenities and thinking about all of the details. It also was very easy to communicate with her. Thank you for a great stay!

Wow

We spent two nights in this amazing Summerland home, and wish we stayed longer. Not only is the house spectacular with amazing and comfortable furnishings, but the outside area is heavenly. Amazing attention to detail, with everything that you will need to relax into the space. Highly recommend!

Summerland stay

Our stay at Kristin’s home was wonderful. The location was perfect. A short drive to Santa Barbara and a quick walk to charming downtown Summerland. The home was beautiful and clearly very well taken care of. The television in the living room wasn’t working properly when we arrived, and Kristin was right on top of it and had us working to resolve the issue quickly. The toddlers we were with loved the bunk room as well!

Fun in Santa Barbara

Kristin has a great property in Summerland. I was worried it might be a little far south of Santa Barbara proper but the location is great. The neighborhood is very quiet and near the little town center and only a short distance to Monticito & SB. The ocean view is beautiful and the house is well appointed and comfortable. Kristin was very responsive and accommodating, Highly recommend for a Santa Barbara adventure...

Amazing Santa Barbara Getaway

This house and property is amazing and so beautiful! Words really can't describe how breath-taking the ocean view is. The house is modern, comfy, and overall makes you feel like you are in a private resort! It has everything you could ever need. My girlfriends and I rented this house for a birthday weekend getaway, and it make all the difference from being in a hotel. The location is central and extremely easy to find. I can't wait to visit again and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing and awesome experience!!!

We are a Christian family, involved with our church and community, and we have teenagers that keep us going, at a rigorous pace... We push ourselves and our kids to excel in our work, so we cherish our vacation time together, when we can put obligations aside and just eat, sleep and laugh.

We are a Northern California extended family with ties to the Santa Barbara area. We found this perfect spot in Summerland, so we jumped in. This property is unusually large for the area...1/3 of an acre, so we think we're pretty lucky to have it. We get down here quite often, and our family converges here for easy days and nights. Our mother grew up in Orange, where her father owned and ran the local grocery store, Thompson's Market. She's not here any more, but we know she loves that we have a place in her beloved SoCal. She would really LOVE just sitting on the patio with a cup of tea and the ocean...

As mentioned in the description, this place just feels good. It has a kind of serenity that is hard to find, and you can feel it when you walk in. I think the high ceilings combined with warm, comfortable furnishings give you an ensconced feeling: that you are safe and sound. It also feels very private, as there are really no spots where neighbors are nearby looking in. It's an oasis. With an ocean view. Can't beat that.
