This place is amazing! So cute with wonderful gardens. Also, the walk to downtown is no more than 5-7 minutes and it is flat. Very attentive host.

Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host Shirley was amazing and made us immediately feel at home. The cottage is beautiful and sits on lovely grounds surrounded by an amazing garden. The location is walking distance to a quaint town and provides easy on -off access to the highway making it convenient to access all attractions and downtown Asheville.

Spectacular stay in Black Mtn

What a wonderful trip, with fantastic accommodations in the lovely little cottage out back. Shirley is a gracious host, along with little Sugar, who is such a sweet pup. The garden is unmatched for its peace, beauty, and quiet serenity. If you’re looking for a place to relax, easily walk to downtown, and just soak up the beauty of the mountains, look no further.

Romantic Cottage

Enjoyed celebrating our 39th anniversary at the beautiful Cottage. Very lovely and comfortable. We did some shopping and ate in Black Mountain, and sat on the porch and enjoyed the garden lights. Thanks have a lovely stay.

Lovely Cottage!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was a great home base to visit The Biltmore, The Grove Park Inn, and we also did a downtown Asheville food tour. Downtown Black Mountain is quaint with places to shop and delicious places to eat which are within walking distance from the cottage!

Black Mountain Gem

We were visiting Black Mountain to check on progress at our construction site. We have visited a variety of properties throughout our many visits. This property was extra special in that the cottage is located in the gardens behind the owner's primary residence. The pathway to the cottage and the garden in the backyard are magical and filled with many varieties of hostas, japanese maple, etc. The porch is lovely and the interior of the home was comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. The kitchen was equipped perfectly for our brief stay. We will definitely be returning to this property in the months ahead!

Quaint little garden cottage

This little cottage is the perfect little place for a romantic getaway. Easily walkable to downtown Black Mountain, the chic decor and updated amenities kept us warm and comfortable, even in the frosty month of December. The outdoor garden area provides a tranquil space, even in dormant winter times. With the dedicated off street parking, beautiful interior, gracious hostess, and proximity to town, this is a true 10/10.

Perfect for a brief getaway!

This cottage was just right for a mother daughter weekend. It was very clean, had comfortable beds, and every detail was considered! It was also a very convenient location. We would absolutely stay there again next time we visit Black Mountain.

Anniversary Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Even though the cottage was small, it was perfect and had everything we needed. And the porch was so great to sit and enjoy the beautiful gardens and listen to the birds. We enjoyed talking with the owner and meeting her little dog Sugar.
