Escape to our charming, pet-friendly 1940s bungalow, less than a mile from downtown Black Mountain & 15 mins from Asheville. Quaint downtown, shopping, restaurants, and breweries are close by. This newly remodeled 2-bed, 2-bath home comfortably sleeps 4 (plus a sleeper sofa in the living room). Clean, bright, and inviting, the house features a fully equipped kitchen, designated workspace, high-speed WiFi, and a large fenced yard with a fire pit and covered porch. Perfect for families, couples, and their furry friends seeking a cozy mountain getaway.

The house was very cozy & comfortable! It truly felt like home away from home. You can tell they put a lot of thought into all the small things that make a big difference. We truly appreciated getting to stay here. Only critique is the showers water pressure was very weak, still got the job done, just took a little longer to do it.

Lovely holiday getaway

My cousin and I stayed here for 4 nights and absolutely loved it. Excellent location, less than a mile to downtown Black Mountain. Quiet neighborhood, fenced in yard for my pup, and a super clean home. Everything was well labeled and easy to use. We would absolutely stay here again!

Welcome to The Great Escape, a charming and newly remodeled 1940s bungalow where you and your furry friends can get away from the stressors of everyday life. Located less than a mile from historic downtown Black Mountain and just 15 minutes from Asheville, our home is the perfect clean and cozy space for you to relax.

The interior features a bright and inviting open-plan area connecting the kitchen, dining, and living room. The living space includes a large flat-screen Smart TV, space heater with digital fireplace, and a selection of games and books for your entertainment. A designated workspace is also available for those needing to stay connected.

Our fully equipped kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures and includes:
• Coffee maker, coffee grinder, Espresso Coffee Maker, and a French press
• Blender and food processor
• A full set of pots, pans, and baking trays

This 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom home comfortably accommodates your group with the following features:
• Main Bedroom: Queen-size bed with a private bathroom and Smart TV.
• Second Bedroom: Queen-size bed with its own private bathroom and Smart TV.
• Living Room: A pull-out couch provides extra sleeping space.
• A designated, fully equipped laundry space.
• High-speed WiFi throughout the home.
• Central air conditioning and heating for year-round comfort.
• A pack-n-play portable crib for your little one

Step outside to enjoy the fresh mountain air. The side porch is perfect for morning coffee, while the fully fenced side yard offers a safe space for pets and children to play. In the evening, gather around the fire pit for s’mores or enjoy a cookout using the provided propane grill.
