We really enjoyed the clean, cleanliness and easy functionality of this particular property. The garden retreat property is a great stay, especially for the price we paid. We have only one recommendation for improvement and that would be to advise the guests of the household needs to be prepared for including paper towels, shampoo, and soap.

This is our second time staying in this home and will continue each year. Very clean, has everything you need including lots of towels. The host is very friendly and the communication is wonderful. Close to all of downtown Ocean Springs on a quiet and safe street.

We really enjoyed our stay. Love the house. Everything was just perfect. The backyard. The vegetation was awesome. But it was just a little too cold to enjoy that hopefully the next time it won’t be so cold and we can sit out back a little bit more, but the whole place was fabulous.

Hi Gregory, I appreciate your honest feeling & review of my home. The majority of VRBO's & Airbnb's are vintage homes in OS. Yes, my home is a 1950 vintage home. I have added many upgrades that are useful & desired by my guests. I want to keep my home authentic with repairs & upgrades as needed. I upgrading the fence as we speak. My rental charges are low to help my guest afford renting a home. If you look at all the listing in OS you will see I'm on the low side for rent. VRBO is the most expensive service to use. Airbnb is much more cheaper for their fees. If you want a more modern home next time, look at the prices. You can rent a higher priced home to get what you like. I've been in business for 8 years. I get many repeat guests. They like my authentic home & the rental price. Again, I appreciate your review. I've never received one like that. I'm a 5star preferred hostess. My photos show the inside of my home. It is not luxurious & I'm so sorry you were disappointed!! I am downtown which is very desirable & very expensive in other more modern homes! Ocean Springs Adventure

Loved the proximity to the downtown area. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was nicely updated and efficient. The backyard was great for us and our dog, Gemma. I will stay here again.

My husband and I live in the historic downtown area near our vacation rental which affords our guests personal service when needed. We have prepared our vacation home, The Garden Retreat, with all new comfortable furniture, mattresses, lenins, & pleasing decor

We chose this property for the location in old Ocean Springs which is in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, & museums downtown. Also, the outside serene beauty of the privacy backyard was a high point of why we liked this home for guests to visit. The backyard has gardens & mature trees indiginous to this area which adds a nice interest to your stay. There is an arbor attached to the house for outdoor cooking on a Gas BBQue with A Stove Plate Burner for frying or, boiling seafood. Also there is a place to clean fish in the backyard.
