When we first arrived we experienced a few issues that were not pleasant and very disappointing. I contacted the owners immediately and they were understanding and accommodating. They rectified the issues at hand in a very timely and professional manner. I would hands down recommend this host to anyone. My family and I enjoyed the cabin it was beautiful and well put together. They supplied all of our needs and wants. Thank you for an extraordinary stay.

Great location!

The location was perfect for our group activities that took place at the Convention Center. We were able to avoid all the traffic on the Parkway, which saved us so much time going to and from the Convention Center. The road up is quite steep and we had a little bit of snow but made it up the mountain in a 12 passenger van. The owner was very quick to communicate with me about some concerns I had ahead of our trip. My only complaint is the kitchen needs more pots and pans.

Don’t come back

my experience in this place was not the best, the photos they have on the internet are not correct, the kitchen is very small, there are only 3 showers, the hot water runs out quickly, there were only 5 cups to drink coffee, the bathrooms had only a wheel of soap, the grill was dirty, the beds in the first room (basement) were very dirty, So I will never say at this place and I didn’t recommend.

Chateau Sur Lamont has been re-stained on the outside, repainted from top to bottom on the inside, both decks have been re-stained, as well as a 3rd deck built outside of the Bunkroom, so 3 functional decks are in place, new ladders have been installed on the bunk beds, all new wireless smoke detectors have been installed, new graspable hand rails have been installed, as well as new black piping for window treatments and bathroom towel bars and 6 additional outside rocking chairs have been put on the 3rd deck.

Awesome High School Football Weekend

We rented this beautiful, spacious house for our cheerleaders to stay in over fall break and an away football game. We traveled from Alabama to play a local high school In football and enjoyed this house tremendously. It had plenty of space and the view is spectacular. We saw lots of wildlife and several bears! We cooked most of our meals in the fully stocked kitchen. The girls really enjoyed the porches with the view and the hot tub. Will definitely stay here again!

This is the worst place we've ever stayed at

Notable Incidents: The Cabin was not cleaned upon arrival. After being cleaned, the cabin was still filthy and and dirty clothes in it, including a peed in blanket in the cabinet and a used diaper under the sink. There was a giant rodent in the cabin. There was not enough bedding, pillows, blankets. The Grill / Oven were unusable. Several things were broken such as the Bunk Bed Ladder and the fire alarms. There is mold everywhere. The owners were terrible with communication.

Not clean

The property looked like it had not been cleaned from the previous renters. The bed linens were dirty and the floors were not cleaned either. There was dust everywhere and also black mild in the ice machine. We never received the key for the pool either

Little but big things

We didn't have enough toilet paper. I never found the card to go to the swimming pool The nob for the main room in the shower didn't work. We where not able to connect the TV to the wifi. The TV from the second floor never turned on. And the manager or owner never responded to my email calls or txt.

Pre-CHRISTmas family gathering

We Voiced our concerns over the rating and review posted Dec 19th... we were assured everything would be checked and in order AND then they added - the reviews before the bad review were all 4 and 5 stars ...we spent MUCH more than we ever had for 3 nights. — The Chalet itself was nice, with great day and night views, when you could see through the cloudy and streaked windows... The bathroom mirrors were streaked and cloudy as well. Another need was the Fireplace was not working, which was mentioned on the review before we came — but I was told it had been shared with the owner and it should be resolved - it wasn’t resolved... I called 1st day and though the young lady tried several times — no one came until the afternoon of the final full day “too busy” was the reason we were told — that was a major reason we booked a chalet for the ambiance of a fireplace.. The cabinets were stocked very well with dishes, glassware, pots and pans - nice coffee pot - microwave, but only two trash bags for the duration - and no replacement of toilet paper, only 1 roll per bathroom. Finally for a chalet that housed 21 people the parking was extremely tight being that only 3 to 4 cars at the most would fit, however that was mentioned in the descriptions, we would suggest vans with multiple seatings if you’re going to need the 21 person rooming the chalet offers, it would be hard to fit 21 people into 3 or 4 cars ...We ‘re not angry just more educated and wanted to be clear for the next renters..

We will never rent this cabin again. This was our first time renting with VRBO and the last. The cabin was dirty, there were batteries missing from the tv remotes, the fireplaces didn't work, most of the TV's in the bedrooms wouldn't work properly, the listing for 21 people is very misleading, the hot tub was dirty, the beds all had sagging mattresses, the pull out couch had pencils, ink pens, dirt and change fall out of it so my granddaughter had to sleep somewhere else, there were no plungers in the whole place, the towels didn't smell good they smelled like smoke, there were planks on the deck loose, lightbulbs blown out in several rooms, and the kitchen sink had no water pressure. This place isn't well maintained at all and needs to have better inspections done before check-in.

The 13 of us fit very nicely. Beautiful! Jacuzzi, in bedroom, wasn't working, and we couldn't get tv to work, in the same room. The pool table needs repaired. Loved the view, and my kids all loved the hot tub on the deck!

Hello, Property was much smaller then it looks on your listing.It give falls impression of size of individual room. Rooms were very small. The surrounding of the property was good. Cleanliness. Property was badly managed. Bed sheets and pillows were so dirty that we had to buy new bed sheets and pillows.We saw lot of spider web inside the house luckily no spider bits. Pool table was dirty. NO BATTERIES. There was no batteries in any of the TV remotes.We had to buy new battery. POOR AIR CIRCULATION. no air circulation in master bedroom. SOFA were super dirty and smells. HOT TUB. Water wasn't fresh and we couldn't change the temperature of the water. We are planning to open the dispute with credit card company for half of our payments back due to poor condition and inconvenience caused. I suggest to delist this property from your website.

Old, overused and not clean

It was not clean. Cobwebs everywhere, musty smell in bottom floor, dead flies in lower floor bathroom. We did not use bottom floor. Furniture(dining table and sofa) was overused with scratches and leather was peeling.WiFi did not work during our entire 3 days period. Emailed and called to the number provided in an email but no one bothers to contact. It was not worth the amount of money we paid

Online pics not accurate

We were very disappointed with this property! It started when we arrived and realized property was located right on main road and parking for location was on edge of large curve. When we entered property we quickly discovered online property pics were very deceiving! The property had cobwebs, cigarette ashes on deck, bottom deck was completely unusable (this was not relayed to us) large screen was off a window, ceilings had leak marks, paint on walls chipping and had spackled areas which were never finished with paint, two of the showers had black mold on them- forcing us to purchase our own cleaning supplies to attempt to get rid of, it was very obvious that this property is not well maintained, and to top it all off, on 2 separate occasions, bears walked onto our porch- we realize bears are a part of the mountain experience however a gate needs to be installed to try and prevent them for getting so close. The worst part was the contact host NEVER answered my phone calls or texted and never made attempt to get in touch with me after I voiced my issues with property. Very sad because property has great potential if it was better maintained. Avoid, avoid, avoid!!!!!

Family Vacation

This was out first time to TN and it was 15 of us ages 4-65. We had a great time but the cabin looked a lot bigger with the pictures online. We were a little crammed in but okay. The house needs a little TLC, and we did have a few maintenance issues that were address after a couple of days. The biggest issue is the parking their is suppose to be 4 spots which is very tight. We barley had enough room. If this cabin is to hold 21 people I’m not sure where everyone would park their is no overflow parking. Other then that a very nice cabin

Family Vacation

This was our first time to TN and it was fun the property was nice but the online pictures made the house look bigger then in person. The house it’s self was nice but some things are due for updates. We did need to call for a few maintenance issues that took a few days but were addressed. The parking was the biggest issue. For a house that holds 21 people their are only 4 parking spots and it is not very big. We had 15 and it was a tight squeeze. Overall had a great time though!! Thanks
