The Pudding Creek Woods house is about a couple miles north of Ft. Bragg. Access is easy. House is quite large with lots of room in the common spaces. Kitchen is dated, but very functional. We made a nice rib roast dinner for Christmas and baked brownies for Santa.
The fireplace is awesome, and the hosts provide plenty of firewood. Makes for very cozy winter evenings.
The satellite TV connectivity seemed to be having issues when we got there, but we were looking forward to a TV-free weekend, so didn't particularly care about that.
Dog loved the ample space in and around the house. She's too old to use the dog run, but if you have a boisterous youngster, it's neat that the house has that amenity.
There are well-maintained bikes in the shed. We did not use them. Too cold in December. All in all, house is not swanky, but is comfortable and cozy, like a lived-in home. We enjoyed our time there.
Shout-out to Overtime Brewing in Ft. Bragg. They have some creative (and really good) brews. And they are dog, and people, friendly.
