The Bare Necessities
Rating Details:
The property manager was more than helpful.
The vacation rental was spotless.
I was somewhat unhappy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.
Reviewer Comments:
We started off with not being able to get into the house! Apparently, the cleaning people dislodged the remote signal for the lock. We waited for someone to come with a key. Just a mistake. The house was clean. The house is unloved. This is a house where people own it as an investment, but don’t care about it.Was very disappointed that we couldn’t see the nature reserve because of the overgrown trees blocking the view to the right. The whole purpose of staying on that side of the street is to enjoy nature!We were also disappointed that the only living room furniture was very soft couches with no support. We got so desperate for decent seating we brought in the plastic Adirondack chairs from the deck, found some old pillows from broken chairs on the downstairs porch and sat on them.Would we go back? No. There’s better choices of houses that are loved
