Short Trip

The owner was very nice . I was not aware upon booking that he lives in the upper level. For me that’s a little awkward . There was a lot of road construction going and we were woken up by heavy machinery right outside our window. Not the owners fault, but a tad bit annoying. Over all we did enjoy our stay and the place was very clean . I would say one major drawback was there was only one bathroom and it was located in one of the bedrooms so you had to walk through where someone would be sleeping to get to the bathroom.

2025 Birthday Celebrations

Most perfect little 2 bedriom cozy place with the beach just around the corner. So easy to take care of and clean up after ourselves. Close access to so many things both within walking & or driving distance. I would love to return to this place soon & our host was very pleasant, helpful and kind. We had a wonderful stay & look forward to doing it again. Very affordable, clean and convenient to so many things. Thank you Daniel for being such a wonderful host.

Location, location, location

Short walk to a beautiful beach and restaurants, stores etc.This beach is beautiful! Part of my review is not the owner's fault as their road was all torn up because of construction. I do think the listing needs to be more clear because it describes 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, but is not clear that the one bath is directly off one of the bedrooms. The 2nd bedroom guests need to go through the other bedroom to get to the bathroom. We worked around it but not all people could. The unit itself is older and small, the kitchen can not have more than one person in it. I would recommend this as a comfortable, reasonable place to stay if the one bath off one bedroom works for your group.

Great spot in Jax beach

Great property clean and beautiful close to all good restaurants and great bars. Daniel our property owner was very friendly and helpful . Highly recommend this property!.

Great Off Beach Rental

The beach is a 5-10 minute and it's very close (driving and walking distances) to restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. and the airport is not too far. Property manager's communication was impeccable. Will definitely look here first when I return to JAX. Go JAGS!

Cute Accommodations a block from the beach.

This property was perfect for our holiday. Just as described. Small but very comfortable and clean. Everything you need is there. We were able to make some meals. Great storage in each room with dresser, shelves and hangers. Host was available for any questions. Location was perfect. A block from the beach and lots of nice restaurants all walkable. Would highly recommend.

Easy walk to the beach!

The ground floor apartment was cozy. The host made every effort to make us welcomed. He was quick to answer our questions. The beds were comfortable. He had provided all the essentials we needed for our stay. The beach was less than a 5 minute walk. Who could ask for more than that?!

Great little beach house

Our host Daniel was a really great man he communicated with us thru our whole stay. The house is stocked really well and walking distance from the beach and several great restaurants.

Vacation

This was the perfect place to stay if you want to be close to the beach. Our stay was the perfect ending to vacation and before our girls moved away to college. Daniel, the owner, is a great person. Very knowledgeable of the area, available to answer any questions when needed. We will definitely book again!

One Block Over

Cute,Clean,and Comfortable is what you get here. Make sure you park with the flow of the traffic on the street or you will get a $25.00 ticket 😔. Close to a lot of great places. The beach was just refurbished and the sand feels like powder.

Location and cleanliness

This place made my trip so much better than I expected. It was the perfect size for a two night stay, very clean, comfortable, and oh my gosh when they say a block away from the ocean they mean it! It was so nice waking up and walking over to the beach. There’s also free parking around the corner so when it was too hot I just drove around. Very easy to communicate with and simple check in and check out process. I would 1000% stay again.

Cute beach house

Very easy check in and communication with owner was so easy and pleasant. If we needed anything he was there in a very short time. Beach umbrella, chairs, and toys were there to be able to use for our enjoyment. Will be looking to book again for our next time in Jacksonville!

Basic Stay

This property is a basic stay. Ok for two people who dont want to spend any time in it. No place to entertain any guests. Tiny kitchen, small livingroom, basic cable, limited parking(aweful on weekends). The host lives upstairs and is very nice. Great for two who want to spend most time on the beach. The wifi is great! The ac is great!

Overall very nice. The host was super responsive. We had a power outage (city wide) our first night and he did everything in his power to communicate with us. The beach was a short walk but also a lot of construction going on right behind the property which made the walk a bit adventurous. Would definitely stay again.

We truly loved the condo and location - one block from the beach. The place was very clean. Would only suggest a new mattress in the bedroom without the bath and a new microwave.

Great place!!

Lovely 2 bedroom 1 bath just 1 block from the beach. Very well maintained and clean! We had a fantastic time and would book this property again.

Jacksonville Getaway

This property was perfect for our needs. We found the property clean, warm and inviting. Everything was in place just as described and was perfect for the two of us. We felt safe and engaged with several of the neighbors just across alley. They were polite and allowed me to use their drive to position my truck into the parking area. The real amenity of this property is its perfect location. It’s only steps from beach access at several points. My wife felt perfectly safe walking to and from the beach. Daniel was the perfect host. His communications were timely and even called us on the way down to ensure that we had parking when we got there. He checked on us several times during our stay. You just couldn’t ask for a nicer fellow. We will certainly return to this property. “Thanks Daniel” for a great getaway!

Fun, convenient location

We are a couple so place was perfect for us. The place was convenient. We were able to take walks, go to the beach, shop, and explore the Jacksonville area. Our bed was comfortable. We were able to cook.

Great house, Great host!

My friend and I scheduled a weekend at the beach and we are so happy we found this house. Not only did this cute house exceed our expectations, but its one block location to the beach was perfect. We were able to relax and recharge, and our host Dan was incredibly generous making this trip memorable. We will definitely return the next time we’re in the area.

Location was great

Yellow condo

The owner, Daniel, was very accommodating. The location was great! The kitchen is quite small, needs more kitchen equipment , new microwave and refrigerator.The oven is brand new.It would be nice to have a small table to eat at or play cards. The 2 bedrooms are adequate, new shelving/wardrobe in master. You need to go through the master to get to the bathroom, but the bathroom is a good size with a large shower and great water pressure. Lots of restaurants/:bars, very walkable, loved being so close to the beach! We enjoyed our stay.
