Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We pride ourselves on going above and beyond with customer service and communication, which is reflected in our reviews (all 5* except for yours) 1. We graciously allowed your party to check in early and made sure the house was perfect. 2. Your party broke the rules of the house by smoking on the property. This is strictly forbidden in the rental contract. Our neighbor saw this and called us immediately. Cigarette smoke is offensive and unhealthy and while it is a personal choice to smoke it sadly shows a complete disregard of the house rules to smoke in the house or onsite. 3. After check-out our cleaning crew notified us that there was feces and excrement on an excessive number of towels, all of which had to be replaced. As we rent the house on a regular basis, it is not unusual to have the occasional stained sheet or towel. But there has never been such a high number of excessively soiled and ruined towels. Upon your check out, our cleaning suggested we charge you for the replacements, because of the sheer quantity - which we did not do. I’m not sure what required you to use towels in this way, but never before have we had to deal with this. 4. You had 5 cars in the driveway. One car was obstructing part of the street, making it difficult for our neighbors to access their own homes and presenting a fire hazard. My house manager and I both texted and I called you to discuss and problem solve. You did not pick up the phone or respond to text messages. 6. I’m sorry the P-trap smelled, you never notified us of this until after you checked out. If you had told us we would have been over within minutes to fix it. This is not something any guest before has ever mentioned and there was no odor when we did our pre check-in walk through. 7. The Gas Pit is not leaking gas, we had it checked. 8. We inspected both the bbq and washing machine and both work without issue. This is a beachfront property and there is constant ongoing maintenance which we diligently perform. Sometimes things come up that need attention and we are happy to immediately address. The vacuum you found is an old one we don’t use. There is a brand new Dyson in the house. 9. I’m sorry if your guests were offended by partially nude art in the primary bedroom. Art can certainly be subjective. 10. There is either a large dresser and hooks or closet in each bedroom. For additional hanging space, we have a rolling wardrobe rack available
