We had a cousin trip and stayed 4 nights! The home is very nice and clean and the host couple was very nice and accommodating! We really appreciated having the lift elevator and the pool was a definite plus!

We go to Galveston once or twice a year. This house was by far one of the best we've stayed in. The host Rene is wonderful. The house is wonderful, and the pool was fantastic! Everything you need is there for your stay and the house was spotless. Beds are very comfortable. Thank you Rene for a very memorable stay.

beautiful property with great views and everything we needed, this house is fully stocked and loaded. Rene and Carol were attentive hosts and let us use their hoist (next door) since the one at our place was temporarily out of service. The pool was clean, with plenty of sun. Mosquitos were out in full force, so we will bring foggers with us next visit. We had a wonderful time!

We enjoyed our stay at Rene's home very much. The pool and hot tub were amazing! I was a bit disappointed with the Galveston beaches so I spent many days floating around the beautiful pool. The landscaping around the pool made me feel as though I was on a tropical island. The house was spacious and fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our week, We loved spending time on the back deck enjoying the view of the river/canal and all the beautiful birds. We ate breakfast there every morning. The sunsets in the evenings from the deck were beautiful. I would recommend this home without hesitation. Rene was a great host and very easy to get in touch with when we had questions.

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful home next to the seawall in Galveston! The location was absolutely perfect, with stunning views and easy access to everything we wanted to do.The house itself had every amenity we could have asked for, everything was thoughtfully provided and made our stay so comfortable. One of the highlights was definitely the pool. Even though the weather was quite windy during our trip, the perfectly heated pool completely made the experience for our kids. They spent so much time in it and had an absolute blast!Overall, this home exceeded our expectations. Between the amazing location, the well-equipped space, and that incredible pool, we couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Great House in a lovely spot

This house was lovely comfortable and well-equipped. The heated pool and spa were delightful. We enjoyed the gorgeous sunsets from the roomy back porch. We had a great family getaway.

Amazing Time

Relaxing and very enjoyable

1st vacation in 2 years So very worth the trip. Lovely, relaxing, great pool, a lift for our needs, very pet friendly yard! Comfortable and well taken care of.....will definitely be back!

Great stay

Renee's property was great! My kids loved the pool and being able to see sunsets every night. Easy access to the strand and sea wall. Host is right next door if anything is needed. Will definitely be coming back!

Lovely house

The weather did not cooperate for our spring break but at least we had a really nice place to stay. Very comfortable, clean and well appointed.

Quiet, relaxing stay in a spacious pool home!

We enjoyed our stay at this well-stocked home away from the crowds. The owner is communicative and responsive. The property is well maintained and was clean. This is one of the best stays I’ve had over my many VRBO rentals and I’d highly recommend to my family and friends. Looking forward to returning sometime!

PERFECT place!

We LOVED this house for our family of 5! The host is so kind and gracious! Such a blessing! The pool and hot tub and ping pong table were absolutely awesome! The kitchen had all we needed and more and the photos don't do the master bed and bathroom justice, just incredible! This was such a blessed trip!

If any of my guests have special needs, please let me know and we can accommodate you. I have lived on the beach my whole life so I know this island and its people very well. I am a retired surfer and catamaran sailor but still like getting out on the water to body surf, fish and giving my grandkids surfing lessons !!
