Mertini - Meredith Lodging

Climb upstairs to this romantic retreat near the entrance of the lovely Bella Beach neighborhood near Depoe Bay. You’ll find soothing blue walls, light wood flooring, Pacific light streaming through large windows, and casual beach décor welcoming you to fun at the coast. Chairs and a loveseat surround the gas fireplace and TV/Blu-Ray DVD, a dining table welcomes you to enjoy a meal together, and the sweet, fully equipped kitchen will spoil you with its granite counters, stainless appliances, and gas range. The main-floor bedroom suite has a queen bed and a full bath. The third floor is dedicated to a queen suite with a flat-screen TV/DVD and gaming console. There’s plenty of room for two couples or a small family, and Mertini also makes a sweet spot for two, sequestered above the world. Walk outdoors and around the corner to Café C’est la Vie for breakfast crepes and coffee, walk a half-block to the children’s playground, or take a slightly longer stroll to the stairs of the neighborhood beach access for miles of coastal exploration. You’re minutes from a grocery, coffee house, and bakery; Beachcrest Brewery, Scout, and a fitness center are close by at Salishan Mall; and you can’t go wrong dining at Side Door Café or Restaurant Beck! Enjoy this lovely home that puts you between the delights of Lincoln City and Newport and all the small towns and beaches in between! Please note that the parking lot for this home is public and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Perfect rainy stay

The beach house was absolutely adorable and clean and very cozy. It was such a treat to stay here! Being so close to the cafe was delightful as well.

Beautiful stay

Bella Beach is always our favorite place to vacation at. This was our first time staying at Mertini, and it did not disappoint! It's a cute place that fit our needs. Will definitely stay there again.

Great spot for a fun coast visit!

This property was extremely clean and well situated. We enjoyed relaxing there and being able to explore the coast nearby. In addition to being spotless, the space was comfortable and had all of the amenities of home. We would definitely stay there again!

Perfect beach getaway!

This property was everything I expected and more! Well-stocked kitchen, a short walk to the beach and short drive to my favorite brewery on the coast (Pelican!). The property was clean and very comfortable.

Great coastal trip

Love Depoe Bay! This place was great. No AC but open the windows at night and it was pretty brisk with the pacific breeze. The management was super helpful when we needed to make a last minute change and bring our injured dog. Will stay again!

Charming Bella Beach

The neighborhood is absolutely beautiful our place was well stocked. We enjoyed our time there. The only thing I wasn’t happy with was the couch although it looked very nice the back of it is so short it’s uncomfortable to sit and watch television from that couch without getting a neck ache the only way to do it comfortably is to actually lay down and that leaves only room for one or two squishing one another.

Very comfortable and inviting place to stay. Wish we could've stayed longer or been able to check before 5pm. There we no clear instructions as to where their beach access was located or their community hot tub. So we couldn't part take of that and I didn't have a voice to communicate by phone and totally forgot about texting as an option. Overall excellent place to stay.

Nice old house

Pretty grounds, short walk to beach. Lots of stairs down to beach. Steep stairs into condo. No coffee provided and coffee shop next door was closed. Not really convenient to anything.

Central Oregon coast location ideal

The property was just as advertised. Close enough to the beach and not right in town so you feel like you are on vacation. Located centrally on the Oregon coast perfectly so we could drive up the coast 3 hours or down to explore this beautiful state. The property was roomy and provided enough towels, blankets, amenities. Perfect for a family of four. Located next to a cafe, unfortunately closed on Mondays and Tuesdays so we could not visit. As with any rental, the additional fees increase the price quite a bit from the nightly rate, however, it is worth it if the place is clean and you feel safe.

we arrived and immediatel smelled mold upon entering the door. I sent a message at 7:26pm asking for assistance with that and a few other things. I received a response at 11:53. Thank goodness it wasn’t an emergency The bed in the loft was soft but created an indent down the middle of the bed. When my husband and I would be sleeping we’d roll into each other. I will say Meredith lodging tried to find us another place to stay but they didn’t have any others at Bella beach so we chose to stay for the location and proximity to the beach. I will be back to Bella beach but not sure if stay here again.

Little Disappointed

My friends and I checked in to find the bed frame in the main bedroom to be broken. Maintenance was unable to come fix the issue that day so we had to sleep on the floor. We also found dirty cleaning rags in the main shower. Gross.. I reached out to speak to the property about this and was told I would hear back. Now it’s nearly been two weeks and they’ve been able to leave a review about me but have not responded to me. Disappointing to say the least.

A Lot Like Home

Aside from the noise from 101, the location is pretty great- right between our destinations of Depoe Bay and Lincoln City. We were bummed that the French Cafe with crepes we were attracted to in the listing was closed for maintenance both days. Just bad luck there. The stairwell entrance to the condo has a pretty bad must and mildew smell that isn't a great welcome. Hard to avoid given the weather and wet traffic it sees, but some points could be gained there for sure if it could be remedied. The condo was cozy and not fancy, which is what we expected as dog owners. We felt at home. The kitchen is pretty well stocked, but definitely bring your own seasonings and plastic bags/aluminum foil/wrap for food if you cook there and don't want to have to toss your leftovers. A few sticky spots here and there but nothing gross.. Couch and beds were comfy. We slept well and enjoyed relaxing in front of the TV. We couldn't figure out the gas fireplace but it wasn't a huge deal with the unseasonably warm temps El Nino is delivering the Oregon Coast. The rain kept us away from the fire pit- a nice feature. We never saw the hot tub if it was in the community somewhere. All in all it was a really great trip and a nice place. I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic trip, but it's great for families, friends, kids and pets that want to enjoy the no frills space.

Cute place, convenient location

This is a sweet little apartment with an initial flight of tall stairs just inside the front door to reach what is described as “entry level”. Great amenities inside the place minus a couple of non-essentials (mat inside the front door, hangers for the bedroom closet, dresser on the main level). There were people in the office, which was located just below us on the ground floor, late into the night that first day. I could hear voices coming from below when I was awake during the night, plus in the mornings we could also hear noise could also hear noise from downstairs. In addition Hwy 101 noise was disturbing. We had a nice time but due to no beach views at all along with the noise concerns and more we won't return to this location.
