Seaz the Day—Olivia Beach - Meredith Lodging

Come Seaz the Day with a stay in this beautiful, versatile beach cottage with amenities that will please guests of all ages. Situated across from the park in the desirable Olivia Beach neighborhood, this two-level home features an elevated great room and spacious king suite, plus downstairs bedrooms and a bonus room that opens through French doors to a patio with a hot tub, gas grill, table, chimney and hammock that extend the fun. The upstairs living room has a gas fireplace, TV/DVD and plush furnishings for lounging, plus high ceilings and windows that bring in the Pacific light. An inviting farmhouse-style kitchen with a gas range has all the equipment you need for meals at the adjoining dining table and breakfast bar. The living space downstairs includes sofas around a Roku TV and gas fire, games galore. The queen bedroom downstairs is a serene retreat, and the bunk room across the hall will delight the kids. Being in Olivia Beach also gives you access to the playground, volleyball court and fire pit across the street, the summertime swimming pool, and of course the neighborhood access to the sandy beach. Walk to the shops and restaurants in the Nelscott District, or hop in the car to the Lincoln City Outlets or Chinook Winds Casino. It’s all in reach from this excellent launchpad to your next coastal adventure!

Clean and Comfortable Well Equipped Home in Beautiful Area

Our family really enjoyed this beautiful and comfortable home. The house was very clean, well organized, and in a nice area of Lincoln City that was close to all of the things we wanted to do. We would be happy to stay there again.

Renting this property was super easy pictures for the property were great to view prior. Loved the hot tub... and super short walk to the pool.

Best place at the beach!!!

This is the best home we've stayed in, in a very long time. The home was immaculate, beds super comfy, hot tub was awesome, abd kitchenstocked really well. If you're looking for a great place this is it!! We will definitely be back.

Our family had a great experience here. Large enough for everyone and very clean. Had everything we needed. We had an issue with the hot tub and they fixed it right away

Very clean property, great location!

Family of 5, had plenty of space and activities for all of us. Access to the beach was close, but you definitely have to hike up and down the hill to get there. Not terrible, just good to know up front.

21st birthday party

Everything was decorated very beautifully and comfortable. We loved that there were two gas fireplaces and plenty of beds to sleep in the kitchen was well equipped with spices and even coffee. There were plenty of hot tub towels, and everything was just perfect. I didn’t appreciate the cleaning fee when we were required to do so much of the cleaning ourselves but we had a great time and it was beautiful.

Nice location, but a little rough around the edges

We had a nice stay at this beach home. The proximity to the nearby park and the beach was great. The hot tub was a plus for the kids, and we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch. The house is in okay shape, but is showing some wear and tear: dings, scuffs and scratches are common; both the foosball table and air hockey table were broken and non-functional; the TV systems were outdated and frustrating to use; there seemed to be several standard kitchen items missing or inadequate. Other than these mildly disappointing aspects, we enjoyed our stay and Olivia Beach was a nice homebase from which to explore the Oregon Coast.

great getaway

Very cute and clean house. Well stocked. Adorable neighborhood with a pool and a little park area and volleyball court. Many of the houses had a hot tub that were out in the open. But this one was pretty private. So that was definitely a bonus. We were there early in the week, so it was a very quiet. But by Thursday, I’m sure it would be a lot busier and a little noisier in the neighborhood. A short walked to the beach and about 100 steps down. Otherwise, you’ll need to drive to another beach. If you go at low tide, there was some lovely rocks with starfish.

Very comfortable

The living room is the best part of this home. Comfy couches and nice sized dining room table. The kitchen is well equipped but filled with dollar store bowls, cups, etc….bring your own wine opener for example. Only true complaint is that the washing machine was awful. We got it to run but only with a half load. And in all fairness, I didn’t notify the property manager. I’m sure they would’ve addressed it asap as they were very responsive. The home is very close to the community pool which is really nice!

Great weekend getaway ...

Pros: The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need for cooking. The kids room was perfect for families. The houses in the neighborhood are very close together, but despite that the back patio was pretty private. We enjoyed playing the board games. Cons: Parking was at the back of the house which is really annoying when you’re bringing in your stuff, since the kitchen is upstairs you gotta come in from the downstairs and walk groceries up to the fridge. Not the end of the world but it was kind of annoying. Hot tub was nice but we could not get it to get real hot. More of a warm tub. We enjoyed our stay and I would think of this house again in the future when I need a beach stay.

DO NOT BOOK this property or any property that Meredith Lodging oversees

We traveled all the way from Honolulu, HI to have our dream vacation on the Oregon Coast. What was a dream, quickly turned into a nightmare when Meredith Lodging put the safety and security of my family and friends in jeopardy and blantley lied to us. They tried to make us stay at an unsafe property, where we could have been exposed to Carbon Monoxide poisoning if they slept there. It was deemed a Hazardous property, by the Natural Gas Company. Whom we had to call directly after smelling a gas leak from the fireplace, since Meredith Lodging did not return our calls or texts. They then gave us a hard time about relocating, even though it was deemed hazardous and we needed to move. After much unneeded back and forth with them, they agreed to move us, but just for one night. We had the reservation for four more nights and with many young children in tow and all the packing and unpacking, told them moving again was not feasible. They said that was the only option and finally at midnight, we moved to our new accommodations. They called me the next morning and said the house was fixed and ready to return. We found it hard to believe a gas leak could be fixed that quickly and asked them for documentation of this, which they said they could provide. Half hour went by and we had not received anything. So I followed up and they then said it could take while to get the documentation, but they needed us to return to the house. It was apparent they were lying to us. Which was proven they were after the fact and VRBO had to temporarily remove the listing. When we refused to stay in an unsafe property, we were then essentially left stranded on the Oregon Coast. As they offered no other options for accommodations for us and literally hung up on me, when I asked this question point blank. “Are you stranding us and not offering any other accommodations, even a hotel will work if all the houses are booked as you said.” Hung up on me, I can not make this up. It was hands down the absolute worst experience ever had with a vacation rental and their blatant disregard for health and safety was unbelievable. If we had not called the gas company directly, since they never responded to us at all, even when I said “gas leak” and would have slept at that house and gotten Carbon monoxide positioning, just horrifying to even think of. Do not ever book a rental with Meredith Lodging, your dream vacation could also turn into a nightmare.

Great family trip at the beach.

House is great and clean with good amenities. A few days before check in the property management company let us know that the carriage house, which we had planned to use, was unavailable and wouldn’t say why (which was a little uncomfortable because it seemed that maybe it was being used by someone?). An explanation would have been good.

Fun and easy

Everything was super easy - getting in, getting comfy, getting around! The air hockey/Ping ping table was a hit for us all, as was the spa. The layout was great for us & everything was clean, and it wasn’t cluttered or crowded. It was comfy and just overall lovely.

60th Birthday Celebration

Property management took three weeks to respond to my question, dirty dishes in the cupboard, bar-b-q only had one burner working, one towel per person for five days, carpet dirty etc....I wouldn’t stay there again.

Great Birthday location

Every thing was amazing the house had everything that we needed! Only thing that I would say is make sure to read entire email we had to find another place to park our vehicle they only allow 3 vehicles to park at the house. Other than that great place to rent for your time at the beach

Loved it!

We loved our stay here. The kids loved the shared pool and the hot tub right at the house. We all loved how close it was to the beach. We would definitely stay here again!
