Everything was WONDERFUL!!! I would suggest to future guests that if they are planning to cook, bring seasonings, sprays, ziplocks, foil, etc.... Target and Walgreens are in walking distance. :)

Excellent; perfect access to beach from your porch with shower at your steps. Close to shopping, wonderful restaurants as well as having an outdoor eatery right next to beach where you can have breakfast, lunch and drinks!

Great beach vaca

Everything was great about this place. The only thing i would suggest is a few more cooking asupplies such as a cooking sheet and cooking utensils. I would definitely stay here again!

Destin beach condo

We loved staying at this condo right on the beach in sandpiper! The condo was like the photos, clean and updated. The view from the deck was the best! I loved sitting out there in the early morning while having my coffee and enjoying the view and sounds of the ocean. We would definitely book this condo again!

Great condo. Beautiful beach.

Clean condo in a great area. The complimentary beach umbrella and chairs was nice. Condo was clean. The only slight complaints- it would have been nice if condo had a few other items like a beach cooler, coozies for drinks.

Veterans day Weekend

Great location. Property management was great. I would have liked the host to leave a few basic cleaning supplies and say a welcome gift like bottled water and at least a days supply of coffee. Makes those checking in late not have to rush to the store at 10pm. Overall nice 2 bedroom place.

Great location, but…

Great location, but the quality of kitchen stuff was disappointing. Cheap plastic cooking spoons, no lids for the pots, no muffin pan, no dish sponge (first time ever in any of my Vrbo stays). Also headboard in the second bedroom isn’t connected to the frame. Refrigerator ice makers don’t seem to work properly. Bottom one made enough ice so we didn’t need to buy though. For the price we paid I feel like these things should be addressed.

Sandpiper Cove

We booked this place on a whim to try a different location in Destin. The property has been lightly updated but could use improvements. The entire complex could use a freshening. In our unit, doors were loosely hanging off the hinges. Had the handle fall off the front door while we were there and maintenance repaired it the following day. The unit could use a handyman with paint and tools for a day or so to help spiff things up. WiFi was ok, had no complaints from the teens in our unit. AC worked well and beds were comfortable. The kitchen could use some new cookware, knives and dinnerware. Washer and dryer need to be replaced, they are extremely old and slow. The deck was nice and had a good view of the ocean and dunes. One major quibble has to do with the parking. This unit is located on the beach side and hosts shared beach access for the entire complex. Assigned condo parking spots would be a welcome addition. During the day, this place is busy. With three rows of beach chairs, it gets crowded and some folks are not considerate to others with their music, vaping, etc. The beach service staff were great, we requested additional chairs and an umbrella. They took care of us all week. The Sand Flea bar and grill is a convenient spot to grab lunch or dinner. We had great food and beverages during the duration of our stay. Grilled fish tacos were delicious. Overall, we would probably stay here again. The complex is a bit run down and could use some rejuvenating.

Perfect location for a family getaway.

The location could not have been better! Beach just steps away from your back porch. Perfect! Right beside the grille too. The condo was perfect for a family with Littles and 10 year old. My husband was able to work at the desk area in the master while we went back and forth to the beach and enjoyed the holiday. A few things guests should be aware of when booking this property: 1. parking is first come first serve for patrons of this property- people staying on site will still drive over just to park on your side for the day. 2. The grille is great! It is CASH ONLY and shuts down fairly early. 3. Chairs and umbrella are complimentary (huge thanks!) but you still have to stand in line daily to “pick out” which ones you want unless you pay extra to reserve a set for your stay. They “opened” at 8 or 9 (I can’t remember) and there was a huge line due to it being a holiday weekend. I would have been better prepared had that been shared with me prior. BUT we had a wonderful time and it really was an amazing spot/ property. Just be prepared with those things and you’ll be golden :) Oh- and if someone could get that back door shower working it would make it even better! Thanks again for the great time.

We loved the location steps to the beach, pools, tennis and 9 hole golf course. There was plenty of room, washer/dryer and well appointed kitchen (we cooked most nights). The free beach chair/umbrella rental on the beach that came with unit was very nice. Also, snack bar and drinks right by beach. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend!

You very rarely got one up front which made it difficult to unload groceries, luggage, etc. It was up front where EVERYONE would drive to go to beach and would park in your spot. The freezer was not making ICE but in their defense , they brought bags of ice for freezer for us !! They were friendly and very helpful. Great location to beach and Pools very close .The Condo was very well taken care of and the beds were amazing. Had WIFI issues but they came IMMEDIATELY and fixed the problem. So Kudos to the Maintenance people. And could not have made it without the complimentary umbrella for the kids at the beach. Overall a great trip and would come back.

Beach chairs and umbrella are a huge bonus (must get their early b/c there are a limited number). Front of condo is literally steps to the beach grill. Great food and adult drinks too. One inconvenience is that there is no reserved parking, not much problem late afternoon and night, but if you leave during beach hours, there is no telling where you will have to park. Of course, the entire Sandpiper Cove is the same way as far as parking goes. We would gladly stay here again.

A "sister" property we also rented, 1137, was almost identical however had a kitchen island added, which was very accomodating, and also a beautiful deck and access steps. 1139 is great but I think 1137 is a better option. Both were very clean, updated appliances and furnishings, beautiful.

The staff and the owner were amazing, when the air-conditioning unit failed they addressed the problem and had it replaced 2 days. Thanks to Shannon and her staff for keeping us informed throughout the whole process and thanks to the owner for their quick approval of the repairs we were able to stay in the unit and continue our stay in comfort. The Sandpiper staff has always responded promptly and professionally when ever we have had any questions. We have already booked for year number 5!!
