We had a great time at this property! The owner was amazing. His cleaning crew didn't show up, but he was there cleaning and got everything done quickly; and I helped do some cleaning - he refunded the first day and the cleaning fee because they didn't show up.
It's an ideal place. It's so beautiful and fun! The house has everything from kitchen necessities to stuff for the beach - boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, heat lamps for outside, a firepit and a grill. The patio has a long table that can hold many people.
The communication was great, the house was spacious and luxurious! The master bath in the first unit was very big and very comfortable. The beach and bay were both walking distance, and so was the restaurants.
I recommend both Capri and Sara's Mexican for breakfast, lunch, and dinner choices.
Google Maps did have a little trouble with the directions. The best way to go is from Mission Drive, take a left onto Capistrano and then a left (it's a one way street) onto Bayside Lane. Don't get it confused with Bayside Walk. This will take you to the "back" of the house where there is a garage and another parking space beside it. The actual front of the house is on Cohasset which is just a walk, not a road.
I will definitely stay here again if I'm back in San Diego.
