This home is located very close to the beach and really had so many pluses for a large family with the dock off the back and a large pool and amazing hot tub. We had a fantastic time kayaking, paddle-boarding and hanging out when we weren’t at the beach. We had 16 people and a 10 month old baby. There were times that 4 bathrooms didn’t seem like enough but we made it work. Kitchen was large with plenty of cooking supplies. Some minor issues were taken care of immediately which we really appreciated— Stan was terrific, friendly and took care of minor issues. I would definitely put stair lighting on the lower part of the wall going down the staircase. The wood steps are slippery in socks as I found out but using caution and the railing makes sense. Towel rods or hooks in the bathrooms are needed. Overall we loved our stay and the place!

Virginia Beach Family Vacation

House is well maintained and any issues that came up were addressed very quickly. Very easy access to the bay, the floating is amazing and made it so easy to get in and out of our kayak. There unfortunately was a ton of flies outside which made it impossible to eat peacefully outside but there is probably nothing that can be done for that. Plenty of room on the back deck to hang out.The pool guy was amazing and the pool and hot tub were so clean. Thanks for a memorable family vacation we are looking forward to renting it out next year. Thanks again we enjoyed our stay.

Great house!

Great house for a family vacation! Plenty of space inside and out! The outdoor space at this property is awesome. Pool, hot tub, plenty of deck space, grill, outdoor TV and bar, and a large ice machine! So convenient to fill a cooler for the beach! The walk to the beach is not bad at all and totally worth it because you also have the outdoor area to enjoy, the best of both. You can also go fishing off of the back dock and an occasional small boat or kayak will go by. We loved it!

Retirement Celebration Vacation

Spacious home with all the amenities needed to cook for a large family. Swimming pool and jacuzzi were awesome and used daily and a short walk from the home to a beautiful beach. Family had a wonderful time. Only thing missing was the steps on the dock to enter the channel were broken as we borrowed kayaks to float around on. We ended up using a ladder the home had so everything worked out for us.

Fun Spring Vacation

The property was well located and clean. Nice easy access to the beach and a great space for spending family time together. Our only suggestion would be to add a railing to the lower deck for safety. One of the children slipped off the edge and fell the 3 feet onto the concrete around the pool - fortunately she was not seriously injured, but it seems risky not to have a safety rail on the edge of what can become a wet deck. Other than that, our stay was wonderful!

Nice, but needs some TLC

Upon arrival, the house had not been cleaned. We had to wait a couple hours for that to be completed. We were a little disappointed in that. Home is ok, but needs some repair and updating. Pool and bar area is great. The ice machine is awesome! Loved the outdoor space most of all. We had a wonderful family week!

Good location

This was our first time in Sandbridge and we had a nice week with our group of 12 family members. The house had a nice layout and was close to the beach walkway which was great. We enjoyed being on the bay as the kids liked fishing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding (rentals). The pool was great. The house did have some issues however. It is advertised as having a cabana with a TV and ice maker. There were no instructions for either. We could not get the TV or ice maker to work and they kept blowing a fuse. We reported the issue and an electrician came but was unable to fix it so we didn’t have use of either all week. Our WiFi and TV service was out for 3 days, which normally would be fine but it was the Olympics and we had been enjoying watching the prime time recaps so that was a bummer. The house is managed by Sandbridge Blue and they were very responsive. The WiFi & TV service is Cox and it just took a few days to get an appointment. The fridge water was a trickle and ice maker didn’t work. We reported it and they came and put in a new filter, then it all worked. The dishwasher top shelf was broken so they ordered a part. The hot tub was super foamy so they sent someone to fix that. Overall, we enjoyed our week but wished the house had been maintained a bit better so we didn’t have so many issues during our vacation.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay very much.. The house worked well for our family. We loved having the pool and all the outside space for our family. House was clean and easy to find. Location was great, close to so many other actives. Has a great ice machine located in the outdoor space and also, a shed which contained some fun stuff for the kido's. If you sleep in the downstairs room you do hear people walking around upstairs but it didn't bother us since it was all family. Over all we really enjoyed our stay., AC works great.. Loved the large kitchen space also.

Family vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The outside pool area is awesome. Having the canal right there is definitely a bonus. We kayaked and fished. And the little cabana was a great extra. We would suggest getting more forks, we did not have enough for our family. Overall a great stay.
