Beautiful Beach Family vacation

Gulf Shores is always one of our favorite family vacation spots. This was a wonderful place on the beach for us to spend a week. Nice clean condo.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful experience with Bender Realty during booking! Everyone I spoke with was so nice. Had a good experience, overall. Only issue was I reported pink mold in the tub and on the curtain liner and was told someone would be out immediately to take care of this. Had to call again the next day to get someone to come out. The gentleman sent was very nice and replaced the liner and curtain. Housekeeping came and cleaned the tub.

Loved the location!

The condo was nice and pretty clean. Bed was comfy. The beach was perfect and the walk to our chairs was super easy. Property manager was very friendly. An extra roll of TP for each bath would be ideal. Only complaint is the hot tub timer has a very loud high pitched constant ringing sound when running. We could hear it on the 6th floor balcony. It was very annoying and took away from the peaceful sound of the ocean. Overall, we loved it! Will stay here again.

Perfect for Families

This condo was the best we have ever stayed in. We have three kids ages 7, 6, and 1 and the hallway bunks were perfect for my big kiddos while the baby got the second bedroom. The pocket door provided privacy so adults could stay up and not wake the kiddos sleeping in the hallway. This condo location was perfect and had everything we needed. I will say the cooking utensils and pans could use updating as they are very well worn. The master bed also could use a replacement mattress, but it was doable for a short stay. We will be back with our kiddos to the same property the next time we come. Was perfect for us!

Expected More For Price

Listing showed check in as 11:00 but reservation confirmation said 5:00. When I asked about it I was told 11:00 would be the earliest and 5:00 would be the latest. We weren’t able to access the condo until after 4:00 on the day of check in. Balcony doors need cleaned, floors left our feet black, guest bath had a funky smell, broken dresser in guest bedroom, bulbs burnt out in hallway and master bed, extra bed pillows were dirty, living room furniture was dirty, battery in smoke detector died and while trying to figure out which one it was, we notice the other detectors were expired, no furniture on bay side balcony. The master and guest beds were comfortable, updated kitchen was nice, view from beach side balcony was great. Overall we enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the delayed check in and broken, dated furniture and decor for the price.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved this location if this property. Close to the main strip, and east access in and out. We did not like that we never received emailed instructions like they said we would. They called and gave us the door code verbally and it wasn’t on anything else. Also the property was not very clean. Red spaghetti sauce on cabinets, utensils in the drawers were very dirty along with cups. Check out instructions say for whomever is in the unit to clean and put away all dirt dishes and that should be part of the cleaning fee we pay such a high price for. Or they should atleast go back and check. Floors were very sandy and turned my 2 year olds feet black. Would love to stay again but not in a dirty unit.

Reviewer Comments: Bender Realty was very easy to work with and made an exception to their 7 day rental policy to accommodate us for the length of my son's World Series Baseball tournament - they were also very helpful when there were numerous problems with Seacrest 601 -upon checking in there was a note the tv in the Master BR wasn't working and a new one would be brought in the next day - but the tv's in the den and the 2nd bedroom weren't working properly either - may have been a cable problem, the internet wasn't working and didn't start working until day 3 - the air filter was filthy and every bed in the condo had sand in the sheets at the foot - Bender had cleaning put new sheets on, but it really did not help. The condo could be super nice with a few updates, like a paint refresh - and deep cleaning- needs a better master bed it was uncomfortable and creaked with every turn - also need darker curtains in Master the sunlight bursts through every morning at 5:00am want to sleep a little longer while on vacation - better patio furniture and more of it

Seacrest 601 Condominium

Overall we had a wonderful vacation, but we’ve had better experiences renting condominiums in Gulf Shores. The condo was very spacious and did a great job of accommodating our six people but definitely needed some attention. Attention was needed to cleanliness (mainly the floors and sliding glass doors), it needed some maintenance (there were a few broken items and items missing), and it could use some updating.

The unit had some updates completed, but there are several pieces of furniture that are broken and/or stained. The pots and pans and spatulas need to be replaced badly. Small master bathroom that reeked of urine. The beds were comfy and that was a plus. The unit as a whole is old but served its purpose for our vacation. The grounds were clean and security is always present. Bender offered great customer service!

Fun in the sun!

Condo was as described. Comfortable beds, kitchen had basic utensils, books/puzzles provided, and overall a very nice stay. Some maintenance needed, none of which affected our ability to have fun but would provide for an even better stay. Each bathroom had issues (shower current in master bath would not stay up; loose door knob and slow tub drain in hall bath). Balcony sliding door was very difficult to lock. Master bedroom sliding door had no lock. Knob missing from small bedroom closet door. Dining table wobbles (one table leg loose). A broom would have been nice as there was a good bit of sand on the floor upon arrival. Other than the sand, condo was clean. One big plus was the keypad lock. Not having to deal with keys was very nice. Easy booking/checkin/checkout and good communication from rental office.

Reviewer Comments: I want happy with my experience!The minute I walked in I had to call BR, bc it wasnt cleaned good, ( chocolate milk on the wall, table dirty, fridge door/handle foid on it, blk hair in bathroom floor. The cough had sand in it and look very worn out. The internet never worked I called on it everyday. The patio plastic table and chairs were old & rough, plus missing a chair. The dryer took 2 hours for 5 towels. The pool was cloudy 4 days out of 6, which I called about. The non looking professional pool guy was very rude, him & I had words which I called BR who passed me on to talk to someone else who passed me along to someone else! The nice thing about my stay was the view was beautiful, I enjoy hearing the ocean from my patio door!

No locks on the sliding glass doors. Condo needs attention. Bender Realty people were excellent. Brought us wine glasses since they were not any in condo. Very helpful on places to go and do.
