This home is beautiful, bright, and clean. The deck on the 2nd level was everyone’s favorite spot to watch over the bay. The ocean is a quick walk and the availability of beach chairs and toys was very convenient. The host was easy to get ahold of and responds in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

Awesome beach house!

Luxurious, large, clean, and comfortable picket-fenced home, right on the bay boardwalk, was ideal for our family with toddlers. Fit our needs perfectly. We'll be back!

BEST house on MB bay!!

It was truly a blessing to stay at this house!! My family and I enjoyed every aspect of our stay here. The house was immaculate and the decor went perfectly with the house. We cannot get over how comfortable the beds, bedding, and the pillows were. Unlike most of the other rentals we have stayed at in the past, that was always a huge disappointment so we appreciate a good nights rest! Having everything labeled was tremendously helpful!! The notebook was really helpful and detailed!! You can tell someone actually took the time to list everything in there with such detail. The photos of this residence does even come close to how amazing it is and the views that come with it! We loved waking up each morning and getting coffee from our favorite local spot, Better Buzz, coming back home and drinking coffee and watching/talking to those that passed by. Our kids enjoyed being able to quickly exit the house and ride their skateboards down the walkway, walking on the beach, and playing in the grass in front of the house! Being able to open up the large doors made for a relaxing evening. There were a lot of passerby’s that stopped and asked questions. We don’t blame them! Our response was always the same. “No it’s not ours, wish it were!” When we come back we will definitely come back to this house!! The only con is that communication with property manager prior to our arrival was lacking. Seriously that is the ONLY negative for this property!! Rent it, It is worth it!!

Hi Sara, I was very happy to read about your great experience with the house and how much you enjoyed your stay, especially since you were our first group and we tried to make everything as perfect and smooth as we possibly could. Reading though the part about the lack of communication prior to your arrival made me wonder and I appreciate the time you took over the phone to explain so this is not going to happen again in the future. My apology if there was a delay in confirming your payment. We have a pretty straight forward and organized payment system in place so I am not sure what happened but I do understand that a delay in charging your card made you nervous, especially since it was a last minute booking. Fabulous home

Our stay in this beautiful home was perfect. The large bedroom suites accommodated our whole family well. We loved the amenities the house has and the location. So fun to be able to walk out the door to so many things. Also, the parking made it so easy to come and go as we needed. We would love to come back some day!

Very nice property. Well stocked with supplies and nicely updated furnishings.

Very nice property. Most impressive was the response from the property management team. We had a few very minor and non urgent issues and they were resolved within an hour. Our entire stay was wonderful and we would definitely rent this property again. If you want a quiet and serene beach environment right on the water this is the place. Our entire family felt this was a wonderful house.

Wonderful beachfront vacation home!

We had three generation of family members stay at this property, from ages 3 to 70 +, and every member of our party enjoyed their stay here. The property is beautifully and tastefully decorated and was well equipped with kitchen, cleaning and basic household products. They even had games, books and beach toys for our little ones. The check in process was extremely seamless and well organized. The welcome book was detailed and thorough. The property management team was communicative and helped us in a pinch when we realized we were missing a key to use the patio furniture. The beds are extremely comfortable and everyone slept really well during our stay (when the kids would let us sleep!). The location cannot be beat. We have visited San Diego on numerous occasions but never had the pleasure of staying in Mission Beach/Bay area. We had so many activities planned for the kids, visiting the local attractions, parks, museums (Sea World less than 10 min away), but by the end of the week, all we really wanted to do was stay at the house and enjoy the beach just a few steps away. The aquatic center nearby has a great weekly water sport summer camp starting at age 6, half day and full days. Great coffee place around the corner (Better Buzz), nice walk to Belmont, and the pier, and nice oceanfront dining at the Catamaran Hotel (Oceana Coastal Kitchen). Also, amazing view of the SeaWorld fireworks on the summer weekends, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed. Overall a wonderful family vacation we all will treasure and hope to revisit again in the future! Thank you for opening up this home and helping us make these wonderful lasting memories!

Unbelievable!

This home had absolutely everything we needed and is in the perfect location on Mission Bay. Easy to walk to restaurants and shops and activities for the whole family. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions we had. We will definitely be back, this place clean, fresh and amazing!

Fantastic stay, amazing location and property

We had a fantastic stay here with my family and our 3 month old. The property was very clean and modern, amazing location right on the water (on the bay side which was actually better because there was less wind). Well equipped with kitchen supplies and beach chairs/towels. They even had a changing pad and pack and play available for the baby. Communication was quick and check in process was easy. Highly recommend!

Beautiful House

The house is immaculate with great views of the Bay. My young children loved being able to walk right onto the beach and play in the sand. The balcony outside the Master bedroom was great to lounge and have a cocktail. There is nothing not to love about the house. The location was great too. It was a very short walk to the Ocean and we enjoyed taking morning walks with the kids on the boardwalk. There were great spots for breakfast a long the way too. We also walked over the a playground and Belmont Park which was roughly 15 minutes. The kids loved it. If I am ever back in San Diego, I would book this house again.

Paradise!

Our family had a fantastic time here. We didn’t want it to end. The house is absolutely beautiful and has everything needed for a week at the beach; chairs, towels, umbrellas, toys, BBQ. Loved having private baths in each room. This worked perfectly for our teen daughter and 2 adult daughters. Everyone had their own space. We will definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous bay front rental

What a lovely house! Extremely clean and well stocked, comfortable beds and what a view! We absolutely loved the retractable doors and spacious outdoor yard right on the bay. The kitchen is excellent and fireplace was handy on a chilly night. I have rented many many Mission Bay properties and this one will be my first choice from now on! So many people commented on it as they walked by. Close to many restaurants and shops and a super short walk over to the ocean. We used the Beach Fire Guy For a bayside bonfire In front of the house on the beach and had a perfect evening!

Felt like home

Such a beautiful home! Spacious and clean. We are New Yorkers and wanted to try something different for Thanksgiving. Near all attractions...the beach was right across the street and the bay right in front. What a blessing to have found it. Wonderful memories were created.

Fantastic Location - Perfect for Families!

This was such a wonderful home to spend time together with family. Our age range was 2 to 65, and everyone felt at home. Everything was nice and new. Fabulous kitchen with all the amenities. The living space and master suite had spectacular open views to the bay. They provided all the beach toys a toddler could want, as well as beach chairs, towels, umbrella, volleyball, paddle ball, and boogie boards! Nothing better that walking right off the porch onto the bayside beach (and volleyball court!). The oceanside beach is a super short walk, and there's great pizza, coffee, and surf shop to rent paddle/surf boards right on Mission Blvd on the way to the ocean. The bedrooms were lovely - each adult couple got their own king bed and attached bathroom with shower, and the kids got a nice bunk bed room. The bayside walk did have a lot of pedestrian and bike traffic, but it was more entertaining than distracting. Needless to say, we would have made more plans in the City, but we were having too much fun at the house and beaches to go anywhere else. We're looking forward to booking again!

Gorgeous home!

My family and I stayed in this beautifully decorated house over Labor Day and the following week. The house was basically new and offered all the amenities you need for a relaxing beach vacation. While the bay side was a bit loud during the holiday weekend, it transformed into a slower pace during the week. The house is very well insulated so we slept soundly without hearing anyone outside. Everything was at our fingertips. From renting a small boat to take out on the bay to visiting Mission Bay Yoga for a few drop in sessions, the location of this house was superb for Mission Beach. I normally bring extra spices and cooking utensils for a longer visit and was surprised to see such a variety of utensils, spices, and dish ware in the kitchen. A beautiful home with stunning views and such thoughtfully themed rooms. It makes you feel right at home, but on vacation!
