John and Joah were wonderful hosts. Very accommodating, considerate with their time and recommendations and helpful. They have a beautiful vineyard property with ample privacy in a lovely part of Penticton close to downtown, the lake and vineyards. Thanks for the wonderful stay.

Excellent vacation

Everything was wonderful. The room, vineyard and patio were all amazing. Our hosts were wonderful, as well. I would highly recommend this property.

Absolutely wonderful!

We were welcomed by the owners as soon as we arrived and were given a tour of the accommodations. The place was immaculate, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed and has the best shower I've ever used haha. Location is perfect with access to many wineries, restaurants and beaches! We can't wait to come back and visit again.

Perfect location to stay on the Naramata Bench

We loved our stay for many reasons. The property is beautiful and well kept, it is close to the KVR trail which is our favorite walking and biking route in the area, and John and Gjoa were absolutely lovely as hosts. We were impressed with the amenities of our suite, with so many little extra attention to detail. There is no doubt that we will be visiting again!

Excellent

We were very pleased with our accommodations. The location was incredible with views of the vineyards and the lake. The accommodations were high end and all the wonderful personal touches by the owners were above and beyond. The owners had good communication with us and were invested in us having a good experience. Would definitely stay there again and highly recommend to anyone.

Gjoa’s lovely Vinyard

Amazing place to stay! A lovely one bedroom with functional kitchenette. The grounds are stunning. Walk to KVT, wineries, pubs and short drive to dt Penticton and Naramata. Informative, kind hosts. Gave us a bottle of wine and some local jam and great recommendations for local eateries and golf. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice quiet spot

The suite is tucked in a quiet spot in the back near the vineyard. Staying in the middle of a Vineyard in close walking distance to a number of wineries, cider, and brewery was great and a great escape. The suite was very comfortable, had a nice setup for having some quick breakfasts and coffee, and a BBQ for occasional dinners. John and Gjoa were very friendly and provided great recommendations for things to see (Penticton Farmer's Market), restaurants (Elma's).

Absolutely fantastic!

Beautiful location right on the vineyard. Secluded and quiet. If you compare this unit to a 5 star hotel this unit is a10 star accommodation. The owners are wonderful and look after every possible need and do so in a heartbeat. It was our best stay yet in the Okanagan in the last 7 years and we have stayed at some other wonderful resorts. We can't wait to go back! And next time we intend to stay longer.

Vineyard location

Cozy little spot situated in a vineyard. Loved the location as we were right on KVR trail and biked into Penticton for breakfast and sightseeing as well as biking out past the Little Tunnel. Was a little bit noisy with the road traffic but that was not heard inside suite. No real kitchen per se but ability to make toast and coffee and a small microwave. It fit the bill for what we wanted for this trip.

Our stay on a winery in Peneticton

John and Gjoa not only was our stay in your vineyard an amazing vacation but felt like a home away from home.It was very comfortable with a great location and we had everything we needed to feel very comfortable and safe.You guys were very friendly and accommodating and we now consider you guys as our close friends.We are highly recommending your place to our friends.Definitely a 5 out of 5 in our minds.We will definitely see you again.Thanks for everything.

Scrumptiously clean and everything like new

John & Cjoa were excellent hosts and made us feel at home immediately, very nice people. The apt was great and the surrounding property has a gorgeous view and is very relaxing - our experience was a 10/10!!

Amazing rental!

This property is all it describes itself and then some. The property is spotless, private, newly reno'd, beautifully decorated and the grounds are amazing. No kitchen but we did just fine as the fridge is larger. Great deck with add'l spots on the property to sit and relax as well as bikes to use on the KVR. John and his wife did a fantastic job on this place! Highly recommended.

Could not have asked for a friendlier host. The property provided all the touches you would want in a single room accommodation. Located right off of the KVR bike trail and only minutes from town by car.

Beautiful Vineyard Retreat

We cannot say enough good things about our recent stay at Gjoa's Vineyard. The room was spotless upon check-in and the owner's attention to detail was fabulous. This property has everything you need to have a wonderful stay. The bed is comfortable and the linens were nice. We enjoyed sitting in the vineyard with a glass of wine, biking to nearby wineries and enjoying the delicious local restaurants. John & Gjoa were so kind and welcoming and went of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay.

The Suite Life

What a wonderful and comfortable week we had at Gjoa’s Vineyard. The quality is of a 5 star hotel. Everything you could possibly want or need is provided. Our host John had great recommendations, was very friendly and made you feel at home. We walked through the vineyard with a bottle of wine (that they provided), watching the quails run from vine to vine. Felt like paradise.

Paradise in the heart of wine country.

A perfect little spot to explore all of the Naramata bench and beyond. It is right in the middle of the vineyard with a beautiful view of the lake. The hosts were so welcoming and had lots of suggestions for things to see and do in the area. We will be back again fo another visit.

Wonderful visit

Our hosts were super responsive, the property is lovely and brilliantly situated for walking or biking the kvr (before or after visiting the neighbouring wineries). We are already planning our next stay!

There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful This place is!

Beautiful, high quality space, quiet, private, and well located. We had room to store our bikes and the many bottles of wine we purchased. Obviously, Gjoa and John put a lot of thought into creating this piece of heaven in earth, and it shows in every little detail. We will definitely come back and recommend this place to our friends and family.

This property was better than we could have hoped for, and the location was absolutely perfect for those interested in visiting the bench wineries. Owners are fabulous. We’ll definitely try and come back.

John and Gjoa have travelled the globe extensively and believe our vineyard and the Naramata Bench is a very special place. We decided to share our home so others can enjoy our vineyard and the area as much as we do. We think its working out very well since over half of our clients are now return customers and friends.

We fell in love with the area and the vineyard on our first visit to the area. The fabulous weather, warm evenings, local organic produce, friendly locals and fabulous wine are some of the best things Canada has to offer. The geography of the area is stunning with the bluffs along the Naramata Bench. I believe Naramata Road is one of the most beautiful drives in Canada. We love the laid back pace of the area, life truly slows down in this gorgeous part of the world...and the wine is getting better every year.

We are close to everything you need, wineries along the bench, beach, restaurants that are walkable, and bike or drive to Penticton. The vineyard is a nice spot to stroll out to the pergola to enjoy a glass of wine and relax.
