We enjoyed our stay very much. We had a group of 5 people and the place was very comfortable for us, with extra space that we ended up using. It was an extremely convenient location within close walking distance of two different train stations, convenience stores, and other shops and food places. The air conditioning was so welcome in the August heat. It was a very quiet neighborhood. The place was next to the train tracks but we barely heard the trains, especially with the soundproof automatic shades The various appliances all came in handy. The hosts made our check-in and stay smooth and easy. We would stay again for sure!

The location is excellent, but there are areas for improvement in the property management. It seems the cleaning company may not be meeting the owner’s expectations. Upon arrival, we had to clean the property ourselves to meet the standard, and some items like filters and toilets haven’t been cleaned in a while. Two rooms had mold, and although the owner was responsive, they mentioned that the cleaning company was informed but did not take action. Despite these challenges, we adjusted and enjoyed our stay. The location has great potential, but it could benefit from more attention to maintenance. Additionally, we had to provide our own detergent, and the washer required cleaning to ensure our clothes were safe. The filters have not been changed.

Great for larger groups and in a central location

I stayed here with a group of 8 people and it was perfect for what we needed! It was very easy to walk to cool spots nearby as well as to the train station. While the AC didn’t work too well on the second and third floors, it was expected in the hot Japanese summer. I would definitely recommend this place to larger groups or anyone who wants to experience Koreatown!

Tokyo stay

House was very nice and clean. We had relatives came to visit to have dinner together and accommodated everyone to gather. The host was very responsive when my son accidentally locked himself out the room. Good stay.

AMAZING!

We had 6 adults: Two parents age 50s, son girlfriend in 20s, two others 24 and 45. Plenty of space and it worked out well. Plenty of towels, a washer/dryer 2 separate toilets and a large shower and bath area but the shower and the separate bath are in the same large room, though you can close off the bath. It is very conveniently located to the subway/trains and to plenty of food and drinks. Plus close to a little market and 7-11. Japan has thousands of 7-11s and mini markets where everyone shops Its a perfect location to center yourself and visit anywhere. The Tokyo subway and Tokyo Metro system are arguably the best in the world. It is SUPER easy to navigate and we used apple maps to give us perfect and simple directions everywhere. I would recommend this place to anyone. And recommend Tokyo.

Great location but hard beds and really only one usable shower room.

We had two families of four staying. The location was great in terms of access to the Okubo station. The house was well-appointed. Two separate toilets which was great. Our complaints are that the two double beds were very hard. Also, the shower and bath/shower are connected in such a way that two people outside of a family member couldn’t shower at the same time.

Good location near train, musty smell

The placed smelled musty. We got used to it but could still smell it quite strongly throughout out stay. The bedrooms were pretty small, but otherwise the place was good. It is in a Korean neighborhood, very convenient, lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

Great house, great location

I visited Tokyo from the US with a family group of 10, and this house was perfect for us. It's a very short walk to the nearest train station, accessing the house was very easy, and it had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone!

Amazing, highly recommend

Property manager/owner was amazing to communicate with. The house was so lovely to stay in and perfect for 2 x families with teenage kids. Great location as well, walking distance to everything you need. Great facilities. When I come back to Japan I would want to stay at this place again as it was fantastic. Thank you so much.

Great stay

My family and I stayed at this location at the end of October 2024. It was clean, spacious enough for 5 adults, and conveniently located near the train station. I'm not a train person but it's very easy in Japan with google maps, so this was a big bonus. Beds were soft, showers were excellent, toilets of course amazing, would stay again next time we come to Japan. Working with the property manager was very easy through email in the weeks prior to the visit and I knew they were available if necessary while I was there. Highly recommend!

Nice house for large family

Our family of 7 enjoyed this home; it had plenty of room for all of us and having two separate toilets was appreciated! It was very close to Okubo station, which made it easy to travel around Tokyo. There were also many restaurants nearby and of course the 7-11 was our daily stop for drinks and snacks!

Shinjuku home

We were able to stay in the home for five days and it was a great experience. The home was as described. Check in was very clear. Transport was close by. The listing is accurate. The manager went above and beyond. My daughter left her bear at the home and panicked at 9pm at night. At 11 he messaged me they found it and left it at a local hotel for us to pick up. I am so grateful. They went above and beyond. Great location. Very clean. Great host
