Our stay at the rental property was absolutely wonderful from start to finish! The home was spotless, comfortable, and stocked with everything we could have needed, but the real highlight was Gary, our incredible host. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome, offering great local tips and genuine hospitality that made the trip unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back!

I absolutely loved the house the minute we pulled in. It is so cute and adorable. Something right out of a Hallamark movie. I loved that it had a wrap aroud porch in the back with lights. The front porch is blocked off but it looks like they might be fixing it. The inside is gorgeous with it all being opened. Had everything you need for cooking. The inside is a giant circle which my 3yr old loved. We were here for a soccer tournament so having a washer and dryer with laundry supplies was a blessing. We fit comfortably and there was about 12 of us. The up stairs master bedroom has a porch and it was perfect to sit out and listen to the rain. There is also a jacuzzi tub that looks relaxing. We didnt use it but my daughter did and loved it. At the top landing of the stair case was a little sitting area sun room with the most comfortable couches. We didnt use game room but the garage is converted into the game room with heat. The only negative thing i personally think is the location. It is off the main road so you can hear traffic all night. You cant hear it so much in the master bedroom and bedroom next to it. The other 2 bedrooms that are close to the road you can hear. It didnt affect me at all but could other people. The kitchen area is all open with glass doors and at night it gets a little eerie with no curtains over the windows. Overall, this was a great house that i would rent again. We actually wish we booked one more night.

Roomy Country Get Away

We went up to this area for a family wedding in Traverse City. This was, in our opinion, the perfect location. The home is outside of the hustle and bustle of Traverse, but still just a short drive to the rehearsal and wedding locations. Large, beautiful farmhouse with beautiful views. Wonderful well stocked kitchen and we loved having our coffee in the morning on the 2nd floor porch off the master bedroom overlooking a field of pine trees. If we have anything scheduled in Traverse in the future, we will definitely stay here again.

Pictures don’t do it justice.

The property was very beautiful. My family enjoyed their stay and loved the hot tub. The only issue we had was the flies and spiders in the downstairs bathroom.

Nice property, big house

Up there for a golf trip with 3 other couples. House has plenty of space. The outdoor patio is a nice place to hang out in. The only complaint that we had was no central air. The days we were there it was upper 80s. There was portable AC units available. Also no screens on some of the windows. Thanks for the stay

Awesome location!

We rented the farm for a bachelorette party. It was a great location and big enough for all our guests. Only 25-30 minute drive to Traverse City. We had so much fun.

So much more!

First the pictures dont do it justice, the house is beautiful. We had so much fun and enjoyed every inch of the house . Perfect for family time , we got to enjoy time with our son who was on leave befor deployment. The house allows you room to enjoy quite conversations and fits a big group. We definitely will come back. Hot tub was great and the game room in garage was awesome.

Plenty of room to gather or find a quiet place to chat. Kitchen is spacious and well equipped. Beds were comfortable and clean.

Family destination wedding

Our son got married in the area and we needed a place to call home. This truly felt like we were home, beautiful, clean, well stocked, comfortable and larger than expected. We were able to have family stay with us and hosted the after party and a family brunch. We are looking forward to another family get together in the future! Gary the host was wonderful to work with, highly recommend this property for any Up North stay!

Perfect

A family of 8 adults and 3 children who were in town for wedding and other events. This property absolutely fit our needs. Indoor and outdoor space and plenty of room. Just perfect and Gary is a great host!

Awesome for family gathering

I needed to go to Traverse City area for a "Celebration of Life" event. The house was more than able to handle 10 of us (all over 18 except for the grand kid age 6 months). The farmhouse is huge and gorgeous. It sits on an active farm and is a lovely place to relax. It is about 30 min from down town TC. I liked that because TC is getting kind of congested compared to when I lived there many years ago. I really can't say enough. The kitchen was amazing, the living room was so inviting, and the "dorm" upstairs had exceedingly spacious rooms. If I ever go back to TC with a group of people, I will check availability here first. Thumbs way up from my "herd".

Great property

We booked this home for a bachelorette party, and everyone was in awe of the home. It’s exactly as the pictures show if not more beautiful! We had plenty of space for 10 women to spread out, and all the extra seating outside was a plus as well!!! Thank you Gary for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

Wonderful location for our micro-wedding!

We rented the beautiful Delancey farmhouse for our small wedding ceremony, and we are so happy with how it turned out! The property and grounds are so peaceful and picturesque. The house is very grand, complete with tall ceilings, magnificent woodwork, and a dramatic staircase—all wonderful for photo opportunities. There is also an enormous master bed/bath suite, which was a perfect bridal suite for getting ready. Gary was a gracious and helpful host. His rental rates for wedding use were very reasonable, particularly in comparison to other properties in the Traverse City area. Additionally, my immediate family was able to stay on site (as the house hosts 4 bedrooms, and is incredibly spacious overall) which made for a nice weekend of family memories, on top of our special occasion. I highly recommend using this property for a micro-wedding. For larger weddings, there is also a barn on site that is nicely updated for a bigger event.

Great place!

Went up for a birthday celebration, it was a great venue to stay with a group of adults, and the instructions were very laid out for us on the operating of any electronic devices or Wi-Fi. Easy access into the home, and the grocery store not too far down the road for any needs that we might’ve had. Gary was a very fast and clear communicator, and each room had a queen size bed! The to pull out couches in the living room or grade, and everything flowed so smoothly

Relaxing

We loved our time at the Delancey house! The house had so much space for our two families. The hot tub was perfect to enjoy in the cold air. The house was fully stocked with everything needed. The kids and adults loved exploring the treed areas. Gary was helpful in getting my son’s favorite stuffed animal back to our home after our stay. We hope to be back to explore more.

Great place

The house was absolutely amazing inside, lots of necessities! The hot tub was amazing. The heated garage/smoking room was my favorite pool table was OK but there was one pool stick and it had no tip no cue. That was really the only game. We will definitely go back as this is a very nice property and the host was very nice.

This farm has been in my family for years, since 1948. This property has been our beef farm; horse farm and a saw mill. I am a craftsman and renovated this home with my hands with the milled wood from my saw mill.

Why here? Come and see, trust me you will not be disappointed. Many have come for a retreat; some for a weekend to rekindle their relationships; some to escape; some to play hard on the slopes and ski; some to ride the trails; some to take the wine tours; we have some of the finest dining in the area; we have even started renting for destination weddings!
