Staying here felt like waking up in a tropical dream. The open-air design allowed the fragrant Kona breezes to flow through perfectly, and we loved being serenaded by the sounds of birds and coqui frogs at night. The one-bedroom layout was intimate yet felt incredibly spacious. Would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely incredible! Great location, easy parking, and beautiful property. There is no ac but there are mesh screens and fans that keep you cool at night!

Great host, very patient and flexible. Place is close to Kahaluu beach park and short drive to great beaches and snorkeling. The place is clean and all amenities are en suite. Get some coins for laundry and don't fret over the occasional cockroach which might make it's way in, given you are super close to nature. Partial water views, no AC but private and had an amazing time.

Isaac was very helpful! Texted us some great ideas for restaurants, shopping, sight seeing etc when we arrived. We loved our open-air room, it was very comfortable and unique. Other guests were friendly, Isaac sets a great tone for sharing.

Isaac is a superb host! Guest studio was clean, comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Location is fantastic - we flew to Kona with folding bicycles, did not rent a car and spent 2 fabulous weeks as Issac’s guests.

We could see a bit of the ocean from the chairs by the window. We could definitely hear the ocean at night which was a real treat.

The space was lovely and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the use of snorkeling gear, water shoes beach chairs and umbrellas. A short walk to great beaches and a quick drive to restaurants and activities. Isaac was prompt and helpful.

Absolutely a lovely place to stay in Kona. 1 black from the coast, open and airy room. Wake up to nature, crash of the waves and birds chirping outside of the enclosed room. Seems to have two beautiful resident ducks, some chickens and an orange tabby cat lounging around outside the property enjoying the grounds themselves. The entire room (Queen #4) is screened in. As you walk through the door you meet the ocean breeze and fall asleep to the music of nature. Clean property and room, amenities were great (beach, coolers snorkel gear, flippers, etc) all included with the rental. There are curtains if you don’t like the breeze, but we visited mid-February and the weather was perfect. Isaac is a wonderful host and provided us with local spots, beaches, restaurants and charters for us to visit while we were in town. If we ever come back to the Big Island, we will for sure put Isaac’s place on our list to visit and will tell our family and friends about this property as well! Mahalo

The property and the host (Isaac) exceeded our expectations!! Our open-air, 2nd floor, screened- in room, gave off luxurious treehouse vibes, surrounded by palm trees, other tropical vegetation and sounds of nature. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Perfect location – a few miles away from all the hubbub, but close enough for convenience. Isaac does a great job providing a sharing environment, supplying items that you may have forgotten, or chose not to bring such as snorkeling, equipment, beach chairs, sunscreen, disposable rain ponchos and much, much more. We found some items useful during our stay and then contributed a few items when we checked out. Great program! The “tropical treehouse” was fun and practicable, with all of the included room amenities; microwave, 1-burner induction cooktop, cutting board, toaster and all of the dishes, cookware, and such. It was just perfect for our wants and needs! If I were to return to the island, this is where I would want to stay again, easiest check in and check out I’ve ever seen.

Aloha!
I recently moved to Kona after going to school here when I was 17 (a few years back now haha) I fell in love with the island. I was born in San Clemente and spent the last 20 years before Kona in Santa Barbara California. The weather and water here are second to none, weirdly comforting having the west facing beaches and sunsets. My uncle David moved over here 2012 ish and has been helping me get started with the vacation renting family business :) Looking forward to hosting people from all of the world so they can see this beautiful Island I fell in love with. I'm sure you will fall in love too.

Clean quiet property, Walking distance to Magics and Kahaluu. We are located close to the hustle and bustle of the oceanfront Kona town and yet far enough to get away from it when you are ready to relax.
