Our family traveled to St George for a family funeral. We were not able to enjoy the vacation aspect of the property but it provided us with a comfortable space to relax and unwind. Hopefully we can return someday for a family vacation. It was beautiful.

Beautiful unit

This is a beautiful unit that’s well stocked and offers great amenities. One of the big draws for our group was the fact that each bedroom offered a king sized bed and individual bathrooms. (The actual mattresses are on the firm side, so be aware if that’s not something you love). The loft area was perfect for kids/teenagers. The home is located super close to Snow Canyon and some great hiking and exploring spots and about 10 minutes away from stores and restaurants, although there is a restaurant within the resort, but we didn’t eat there, so can’t give feedback. The dual decks with firepits are wonderful, especially the upper one, as you can watch the sun go down over the desert. Check in/check out were easy and straightforward. We would return here again in the future!

We experienced some trouble with the gas stove top getting disrupted with too much downdraft from the rangetop fan, but eventually figured out with the help of a guest that we simply could not have the fan on a speed higher than medium.

Beautiful Home in St George

The home was beautiful and very clean. They layout of the home worked for us perfectly. A lot of space and location was not far from where we needed. Only thing I would say is the parking situation was not great. You cannot park on the street. Sharing with another family, 3 cars total was hard for us. Also we had to keep resetting the internet daily for it to work. Besides that we loved the home.

Beautiful home & views

My sisters and I enjoyed Desert Solace for our annual vacation. The location was a quick drive to St. George and Snow Canyon State Park. The property pool was just down the street from the home. We especially enjoyed the upper deck with a gas fire table. Zion National Park was close for a day trip as well.

The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was generally well-supplied, and the washer and dryer were very useful. It was too cold to spend much time on the upper deck, but it looked like a fun place to hang out on a sunny day. A few things could have been done better. We stayed for two weeks and there was no cleaning or laundry service during that time. There were only 6 dishwasher detergent pods, so we had to buy more, which was a bother. We also had to buy liquid dish detergent because the small bottle provided was totally inadequate. There were no general cleaning supplies, so there was no way to do any cleaning ourselves. Two weeks was too long to not be able to clean. There was also no cloth or sponge for cleaning counters. The quality of the kitchen knives was poor (typical of a rental, we have found, so we brought our own). Also, some of the pots and pans were flaking and needed to be replaced.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay at the Ledges and the condo was just as advertised. Very clean and with plenty of space for two families, plus grandma and grandpa. The kids really enjoyed the arcade game and loft space. We stayed in and cooked most of our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. Will book this condo again as we want to come when it’s warmer and try out the pool and amenities.

Fantastic!

We loved our stay. The place was clean and new. The beds were comfy. The place had all the necessities and worked great for our family. The area was beautiful and quiet. We loved how many stars you could see at night. The pool was nice. We will definitely be returning.
