We loved our stay here! 4th time visit and so happy we found this little rental, perfect for a couple. Beach is beautiful and location to town and site-seeing is great. We got to see a whale pass by this year and we saw dolphins almost every day. Can't wait to come back next year.

Beach view great. Had problems with ac/heater. Worked about 2 days. No electrical outlets in either bathroom. No t.v. in living room. Would not stay there again.

As noted in the listing description and photos, this is a rustic 1950s beach cottage with a cozy, quirky layout, including a portable A/C and heating unit and no television in the living room. We work hard to ensure the listing is transparent so guests can decide if it’s the right fit for their stay. When you reached out regarding the A/C, we addressed the issue promptly, and we did not receive any further communication during your stay. We always encourage guests to contact us anytime something isn’t working properly so we can assist as quickly as possible. This home is intentionally priced well below other oceanfront properties in the area and is best suited for guests seeking authentic coastal charm, simplicity, and unbeatable beach access. While it may not be for everyone, many guests have truly loved its character and location. We appreciate your feedback and wish you the best in your future travels. Best, Valarie and Jason

Favorite view!

My husband and I come to this little beach cottage every year. This was our 4th year and the view never gets old! This cottage is perfect for the 2 of us and you can’t beat the location! Just steps to the sand! We love Flagler beach!

Charming, rustic cottage on beachfront.

This charming little cottage was the perfect getaway for a couple of senior citizens wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. The private beach was unbelievable, no crowds, just an occasional passersby. Can’t wait to make another trip. Great restaurants just up the road.

Excellent visit

This location is located in a residential area close to everything you might want to visit. Beautiful views and perfect place to relax. Beds were comfortable and cottage was well equipped We will definitely want to return

Quirky little beach villa

A small but clean place. Managers were very attentive to our needs. Good food about five minutes south. Outfitted with microwave, fridge, 2 showers, 2 queen beds, and sleeper sofa. I’d stay there again.

Our stay at Painters Hill

Location was wonderful. Right on the beach and half way between St Augustine and Daytona made for lots of opportunities to see and do! The neighbors were friendly and the neighborhood was super nice.

Great stay for our family! Location was ideal and barely anybody on the beach during our time.

Great communication! The only thing is the layout of the house is a little quirky but, other than that we had a wonderful time!
