This Siesta Key home is an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, the experience was 5-star perfection. The location is unbeatable, just steps from the soft, white sands of the #1 beach, yet tucked away in a quiet, tropical neighborhood. The home itself is stunning – beautifully designed with modern touches, a private pool, and rooftop patio. We loved the thoughtful amenities like provided beach chairs, and coolers, making beach days effortless. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond, truly making our trip carefree. We will definitely want to stay again sometime.

Disappointed

I should have taken up the offer from owner to have money refunded if I left after just unpacking and 5:30 Saturday within the Memorial Day weekend. For every concern we had about the condition of the house the owners comeback was the property was “Old Florida” and we weren’t accustomed to that kind of condition. Well let me say that for the past six years we have stayed in different older Siesta Key houses that always got excellent ratings from my family.We will need to be more careful with our selection of homes next year.

Great location!

2 week vacay with adult children and grandchildren. Large, spacious home, walking distance to beach and village in a lovely neighborhood. Heavily rented home that is reflected in appearance, however, nothing that would impact your overall experience. Owner was very responsive to any issues we had. 8 new Tommy Bahama beach chairs were nice to have.

Loved that is was walking distance to beach and to The Village. Great location!

It was nice and quiet neighborhood. We really liked the location. We had 12 people overall. Could of used a few more bathroom towels. Used a few beach towels and washed towels every other day. Overall we had a nice stay. Doug was great with communication.

Great Location

We had a great time with our kids and grandkids at this home away from home. Kitchen had everything we needed. Short walk to the best beach in the world. Beach access 11 is an area of the beach that is less crowded than the areas near parking. The house was roomy so that each of our kids and their families had their own space. Granddaughters loved playing in the pool. The owner is quick to respond to any questions. Great home! Hoping to return and stay longer!

Incredible

This house was better than we could ever imagine. Beach 1 block away and the Village a 5 minute golf cart (not included) ride away. You never need to leave the island. Paradise!!

Great location with easy access to beach and village.

This well equipped beach house worked out great for our group of three couples. The owner was very responsive to any questions and issues.

The home was comfortable and bright and large enough for our family of 9. The kids loved the pool!

The beach was a 5 minute walk away and it’s gorgeous! The owner was responsive to any questions we had! House was perfect! Will hopefully return next year!!!

Amazing Family Vacation

We have rented in Fort Meyers and Clearwater Beach, and this house and location were the best. It was a family vacation with four teenagers. The house itself had more than enough space for us. We enjoyed using the pool after a long day at the beach, the roof deck was cool, and recently renovated bathrooms were a nice touch. The owner was extremely responsive and friendly. The beach has the nicest powdery white sand we have ever seen, and the water is so clear you can see your feet in neck deep water. We walked into town most nights and found some really great restaurants. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

Family vacation 2021

This was a great family vacation. It was close to the beach and coming back to a private pool was a plus. The house had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the home. The home was nicely decorated. We really had a great, relaxing time.

My family and I stayed in this house for 10 days. We really liked the location. 8 minute walking distance from the beach. The owner was responsive, if we had any questions, he would respond right away.

Excellent location

The owner very responsive to questions. However, the bathrooms were not as clean as we expected. I recommend new couches as they were worn and uncomfortable. Kitchen well stocked with spices and dishes and would recommend more glasses. Overall, it was a good place to stay and would be even better if these suggestions would be followed.

Excellent experience!

This property was perfect for our family Holiday gathering. Plenty of room and very comfortable for six adults and our five grandkids (ages 2 to 16). The roof top deck was a big hit with everyone. The owner was incredibly responsive to our multiple questions and requests - none were problem related - just minor thermostat adjustments and general queries. Would definitely stay here again. Only issue we experienced was the non-stick pans were underperformers. John C.

Great vacation in Siesta Keys

This was our 2nd visit staying at this house. Has 2 great floors. Upstairs with a master bedroom, bathroom, living room, dining area and main kitchen for myself and 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms downstairs to handle the young adults with one bedroom having a kitchenette and sitting area. One block to the beach and a great pool to relax in after.

Great for famliies

First of all Doug was very responsive to all our needs. Had one problem which he solved right away. All questions about the area, transportation, places to eat were answered immediately. The house was clean and well supplied with towels, dishes, utensils etc. Pool was great and the kids used it all the time. Only a few minutes to the beach and about 15-20 minute walk to the village. We are so glad we found this rental and next time back to Siesta Keys will be staying there again.

Great house! Perfect location!

This house is in a perfect location, walking distance to both the village and the beach. The house offers privacy for families and is great for big families or multiple generations. We have enjoyed our stay both years and would stay again.

Expected to lie for owner!

Awful experience! I had a week long rental agreement with owner but the area is zoned for month long rentals only. Owners expected me and my party to lie and say we were only guests, not renting. The neighbors did not want the weekly renters, and they let us know that they were unhappy about the owner breaking the zoning ordinance. The neighbors called the police, for the most ridiculous reason ( boys were outside talking in the driveway at 7pm, no music, just talking, so of course the rational thing to do is call the police), neighbors entered the property twice, without asking, or knocking. The second time the neighbor came right up on the rooftop deck and yelled at my son to turn his music down ( it was 4pm and the music was not loud, 3 boys were downstairs and did not even hear any music, but they heard the neighbor confront my son). We had a BBQ and the neighbor came over at 5pm and asked us to keep it down. It was constant all week, we could not relax and enjoy the property , especially not outside for fear a neighbor would lodge another compliant. Also, the owner has the house up for sale and a realtor called during our stay and asked if we could leave the property so she could show it! I never would have rented this property for a week if I had known it was not zoned for weekly rentals. The neighbors are clearly sick of the owner breaking the zoning rule and their dissatisfaction showed in their actions toward us. We had a stressful week!

Ideal rental for our family's visit.

We are residents of Sarasota, but had family visiting from New Zealand--son and wife with two small children--and our daughter from Columbus, Ohio, so we needed more space. The Siesta Beach Hideaway was a great choice. There was room for everyone to have their own space, we all (especially the little ones) loved the pool, and being able to walk to the beach and village was a big plus, as parking can be an issue during the season. Accommodations were clean and well maintained. Steps could be an problem for anyone with a disability, but for us this was a great choice.

Top place for winter vacation.

Great location with lots of space. Pool was great and Village is amazing. We went on fishing charter and they prepared catch for several dinners. House was recently remodeled and new kitchen is perfect. Only downside is one week not enough to see everything Sarasota has to offer. We will be booking again next year.

Thanksgiving Florida Stay

We needed a place that would sleep the 11 of us that were visiting family in the Sarasota area. This place was easily able to do this. It's really close to the beach on Siesta Key, about a one block walk and pretty close to the stores there too. The grandkids, as well as the adults were in the pool almost everyday. The neighborhood is quiet and pleasant. We would definitely stay there again. ..

This is rare and special property. 2 minute walk to Siesta Key Beach, and a 10 minute walk to Siesta Key Village (island vibe shops, restaurants, bars, grocery, rentals). Lot's of room to spread out with 3 levels, a roof top deck with views, and a private pool and patio deck with a grill, dining and lounge furniture.
