Spacious, clean, and great location!

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious, clean, and welcoming home. It was great to have a garage space to keep our kayaks and gear in. Everything was within a 2-30 minute drive. Loved that the kitchen had everything we needed. Wish we could have stayed longer!

10 Star Wonderful

Staying at this property elevated our wonderful experience in Acadia National Park. The first thing you notice is it is Exceptionally clean, spacious, comfortable and Extremely well equipped for those of us who enjoy preparing meals at home. Heather is such a gracious host. She communicated everything we needed to know about check-in and checkout ahead of our visit as well as interesting places to visit. Thank you Heather for sharing your beautiful home, and we hope to return in the future!

Great Acadia trip

House was spacious and updated, plenty of room to spread out. Our big van even fit in the garage. The kids enjoyed the ping pong table and games. Having two washing machines was a plus. The owner sent an immediate response to a question. It was easily accessible to everywhere we wanted to go in Acadia National Park.

Amazing property

Our extended family of 9 people, ranging in ages from 6-55 stayed here. It was our first time in Maine. The photos don’t do the house justice. It’s even more amazing in person. The back deck is a great spot to have coffee and relax with family. Don’t sleep on the opportunity to use the relaxing spa tub - adjustable options plus soothing lighting. Everything about the house is soothing from lights to seating to wall colors. A half mile walk to the local downtown shopping area is fun. Bar Habor and Bass Head Harbor Lighthouse are just 30 mins in either direction. We would stay again in the future.

Perfect location and has everything you need!

We rented this house to stay a week in the cutest town on mount desert island. It’s a very quaint town with shops and restaurants and beautiful walks around the neighborhood. Much quieter and calmer than Bar Harbor, especially when we went in June. It does get busier as the season progresses. The house itself was perfect for our group. Comfortable, very clean, spacious, very well stocked kitchen and supplies, close to everything, and the owners were so lovely and helpful all throughout. We had zero issues. Would definitely stay here again.

MAINE VACATION

We so enjoyed our Maine Vacation and our stay at this location. The property was clean, well stocked and overall beautiful. The location was perfect for island hopping or a trip inland. The host was gracious and accommodating with our schedule. Plenty of pamphlets for activities near the home were conveniently displayed at the house. Walking distance to town, golf course and tennis court and the harbor. Not one complaint to be found. Would stay here again and absolutely recommend this location to anyone wanting a nice quiet retreat.

Great spot and home for a large family trip

My parents took the masterbedroom. My little bro (an adult) had the 2nd floor room. My 4 kids stayed in the room with 3 beds, and my husband and I got the one down the hall. The kids loved the board game room/office. We all enjoyed ping pong in the garage. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items. The home is very nice and the beds are comfy. We enjoyed the location as well. We had an issue with the microwave, and the owner's family member quickly rectified the issue. There were two sets of washers and dryers for personel use as well as laundering the bulk of towels the bedding used, including quilts and comforters, before checkout.

Extraordinary Stay! Perfect Location! Will Be Back!

What a beautiful home! We do a girl’s trip every year and this home just blew us away!! The home was very clean and spacious! The kitchen was stocked with everything imaginable! We decided to stay in one night just to enjoy the fireplace and play games that were there, we even watched a movie! Our group usually doesn’t stay in but we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful home! Heather was an amazing host, very responsive and friendly. We had an extraordinary experience and plan on returning next year with my family!

Trip to Acadia

We enjoyed our stay at Bella Kai. Beautiful home and we felt so welcome. The owner Heather provided everything we could possibly require. The kitchen was better equipped than most homes. The beds were very comfortable. The outside deck provided beautiful furniture and grills. Heather provided detailed instructions as well as house rules and local activities available in the area. We had beautiful September weather to explore Acadia National Park only 20 minutes away. Thanks Heather for the great experience!

Favorite vacation rental to date!

The pictures of this house do not do it justice in real life. The entire house had so much space beyond what we expected, from the enormous garage to the extra butlers pantry and office by the kitchen, to the second living space upstairs, and on. The bedrooms (and closets) were large, as was the deck and outdoor space. We had three generations staying in the house and there was plenty of room, even with sharing of bathrooms. If we lived closer (we traveled for the week from Pennsylvania), we would come every year. The large kitchen island made for easy breakfast and lunch prep before heading into Acadia most days. We lucked out with beautiful weather so spent a ton of time on the deck - meals, dessert, games with the kids, you name it. I was so pleased with the house organization and cleanliness when we arrived. If you are considering visiting Acadia or this area of Maine, definitely consider this rental. It was an easy walk into Northeast Harbor and everyone enjoyed walking around the cute town. I would love to use this property again on a future vacation - we did not want to leave! (6 adults, 4 children)

Lovely family spot!

We had an extremely positive experience. The house is gorgeous! Kid-friendly and well equipped for extended family to spread out and relax together. Quiet area near the scenic Sargeant Drive; convenient to the Island Explorer bus and an easy drive to numerous Acadia favorites.

Bella Kai and Bar harbor

Heather was so communicative and kept us up to date with everything we needed. The house was beautiful and wasn’t too far from all the attractions (Acadia national park, bar harbor, bar harbor cellars and so much more). The neighborhood was also very quiet and scenic. I would highly recommend coming here and staying at Bella Kai! We can’t wait to come back!

One of the best!

We have stayed in many rentals and this is truly one of the best we have ever stayed in. We loved the roominess of this home, the completeness of the amenities (including baby furniture and children's books), the quietness of the neighborhood, and the small retail/restaurant/waterfront areas within walking distance.

Perfect location and home on MDI.

This home is in the perfect location for exploring Acadia National Park and MDI. It is located in Northeast Harbor which has delightful shops, restaurants and a wonderful bakery. The host had a fully stocked kitchen, as well as an outdoor cooker and lobster pot. We had a wonderful time cooking our own lobster and seafood boil. The home is lovely and we were very comfortable there. It is a great home for adults and families with children.
