Nice stay

"Very good stay in this accommodation, well equipped in the center of Madrid and near tourist attractions. The basic equipment was perfect and there were very good restaurants nearby. The host was available, even though I had no problems during my stay. I recommend this lodging for a short vacation in Madrid."

Perfect location

The flat was perfect and had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, location was great for walking and shopping near and in the Plazas. It was an active area with plenty of places to eat and drink very close by, yet it was not noisy at all. The hostess was very helpful prior to our stay yet there was no need to contact her during our stay because we had no issues at all. We intend to book this location again the next time we’re back in Spain!

Perfect Launchpad in Madrid

Ideal location, clean and comfortable. Walking distance to museums, train station, and more tapas bars than you can count. Easy to reach from airport via subway. Owner exceptionally helpful with checkin and tips / instructions. Would recommend highly and would stay here again!

Excellent apartment/Excellent location

Grete's place was wonderful. It matched the pictures perfectly, was very clean and comfortable for two people. Also, its location makes it a wonderful beginning point to anywhere you need to go in Madrid. We'll stay here again for sure.

Fabulous apartment

Just as good as our first stay

Gorete’s apartments in this building are a great home away from home. We stayed here last year and returned again this year. The location is perfect for walking access to all the sites and museums in the center and metro.

Winning Location

A modern, spacious, well equipped studio. The location is quiet, but close to everything. Very walkable. The host was easy to connect with and accommodating. Check-in was seamless.

Awesome place and location!

The location is very central to all the major tourist attractions in Madrid. The area has plenty of food and shopping options, and the location felt very safe and secure. The building itself is quite beautiful and our room was well-furnished. Definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a convenient location and cozy place to stay!

Wonderful stay in Madrid

Perfect little apartment, had everything we needed. Great location in the heart of Madrid and walkable to everything but blissfully quiet once you’re in the front door. Lovely restaurants and cafes within 100m - absolutely no negatives.

Great communication & location

The communication is one of the best, she’s fast & responsive. The location is great too. It’s quiet but lively at night but not noisy at all. Feels very safe and comfortable for our stay.

Excellent stay in Madrid

We spent 5 days in Madrid. The apartment is well situated and well maintained for a comfortable stay. It is also very quiet despite the active nightlife nearby. The apartment is well equipped and spacious for 2 people. The owner is easy to contact and responds promptly to any query and also sent us some useful literature about Madrid prior to our visit. We highly recommend this apartment

Perfect choice for our stay in Madrid!

Great location-we were able to walk to everything we wanted to do, including the train station. The apartment is in a secure building, is clean, comfortable & had everything we needed for our stay. Gorete was very responsive & helpful host. A perfect choice & experience for us!

Wonderful stay in a great location

We only had two nights in Madrid so this apartment was perfectly located for us as we were able to walk everywhere we needed to go. Gorete is a wonderful host and provided lots of recommendations and insights. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed. Even though it’s located on a busy street, it was very quiet. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it. Thanks Gorete!

Great Place in Madrid

I really enjoyed staying at Gorete’s apartment. It was just as advertised, very clean, very comfortable and quiet at night even though you are in a busy part of town. Everything works very well (air conditioning, wifi, laundry machine, etc.), and Alicia does a great job cleaning the apartment and helping with anything you might need. I can highly recommend staying here.

Perfect little apartment in the heart of everything!

Very nice apartment in the heart of everything. Nice decorations and Host was always available. Just needs more light in the bathroom and bed was hard, not very comfortable. I would definitely come back and recommend this place.

Amazing place and location!

Had a fabulous stay! The apartment was beautiful and very clean. Our host, Gorete, was very friendly and extremely helpful. For the location alone it is worth it. So many places to eat at at either Plaza San Angel or Plaza Santa Ana, right down the block. Walking distance to most museums. A wonderful and energetic neighborhood. ps. For the best tortilla española go to Juana La Loca.

Absolutely wonderful!

Everything was fantastic! Communication was very easy and prompt. We arrived in the early morning and were able to leave our bags at the building. The concierge, Alicia, was very nice and helpful. The apartment was beautiful. Everything was so nice, new, clean and well appointed! The location could not be better. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you so much!!!

Short stay in great area

We stayed in this apartment for two days. The host was in communication from the beginning and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment is in the second floor and faces a small interior court yard. It had all of the amenities we needed. We did have on evening when a neighbor was noisy late. We were able to dull the noise by turning on a noise app on our iPad. We would stay here again.

Location about perfect

The location of this unit is perfect. Every place seemed about 15-20 minutes walk. Apartment was roomy for a studio, very clean and safe. Only hiccup was the receptionist was not there so we could not get in the building. Be sure you have owner number on WhatsApp and know which button on intercom to press. Also know the name or number of the unit your in. The receptionist speaks almost no English.

Huertas Apartment

Very nice apartment, comfortable, well appointed, and great location. However, not ideal for sleeping due to human noise from other apartments. The person upstairs seemed to be walking around in heels even at 12:30 at night. Voices from other apartments carry across the small courtyard. This is not totally surprising for an apartment in a busy central area. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Apartment

My wife and I picked this Apartment because of its location and how new and well kept it looked in the pictures. The pictures didn't do it any justice. Upon our arrival, we were met by Alicia. She immediately guided us to the second floor and to the entrance of the Apartment. It was even more beautiful and very clean. We had no wants as everything was provided, i.e. Paper Towels, toilet paper, bath towels, etc. It had 15 foot ceilings and it was very quiet inside. We were away from any street noise, and we never heard our neighbors. The owner and hostess (Sra Groete) was amazing. If we had any questions when Alicia wasn't available, we would text her and she would answer as soon as possible. We highly recommend this Apartment anytime you visit Madrid We plan on visiting Madrid again and if this Apartment is available we definitely will stay there again.

Clean, centrally located apartment

Our first visit to Madrid was wonderful, mostly due to the location of the apartment. Its location provides for no more than a 15 minute walk to major key sites in Madrid. We only used a taxi from the airport and to the train station. The rest of our 4 days in Madrid we walked everywhere. The apartment was clean and well appointed. We did buy some food that needed to be cooked in an oven, only to find there was no oven. Oops. No worries though, we didn’t need one at all - there are amazing tapas everywhere… I mean everywhere. An average price between 2-4 euros, we aren’t big eaters so we found sharing 2 tapas was perfect. Of course, we had to stop for them several times a day. We did a walking tour our first full day and it really helped us understand the city, restaurants, history and culture. Highly recommend Veronica’s tour at our.Madrid on instagram. The apartment was very comfortable. The real king size bed was perfect. We slept so well. It is a studio, but does feel like the spaces are separate making if feel bigger than it is. Overall, it was perfect for us.

Best of all possible Worlds

When traveling most of us want the best of all possible worlds. In our case this involves both a perfect historic location in the immediate proximity of tourist sights and amenities, but we also like a quiet and comfortable retreat from the action. This graciously appointed studio offers a perfect combination and that is hard to find. You can step out onto the mostly pedestrian calle, and be steps away from historic plazas, lovely restaurants and fun bars, or local food markets and fun shops. Transportation hubs are easy walks away as well, though you can walk most places you want to see. The amazing thing is once you are inside you can close away the street noises and be completely insulated from all the fun hubbub outside. The inside courtyard provides the quiet, and the shutters offer privacy and helpfully seal out the light for a wonderfully good sleep. This helps whether you’re recovering from jet lag or Madrid’s famous nightlife. All the amenenities you can imagine are generosly provided, the spaces are ample, and the decor is just what I’d choose if I had the luxury of outfitting an urban retreat. If you choose to eat out you have many satisfying options in close proximity, and if you choose to eat in you have plenty of markets that offer the world class culinary options that Madrid is known for. We enjoyed doing both, and appreciated the wine and sweets we were gifted on arrival. You are treated as a guest and you will feel right at home....in a place that offers that rare combination....the best of all possible worlds!
