Overall great home. Quick response with queries. Good facilities. Only downside is the rubbish removal, we had to take it own rubbish and then had to pay to dispose of it

New and Tidy and Warm house

A very new and tidy house. I also enjoy the play room (pool and table tennis table) and the fancy kitchen. There is play ground across the road.

Family Holiday

We have stayed in this area a number of times and love it. Bach was lovely, good communication, clean and tidy but got extremely hot in afternoon, kept blinds closed and air on.

Thanks for the feedback Claire. On very hot days like your week (25 C +) it is recommended to close the blinds on the south side. I will include this in house information. Fortunately the upstairs air con unit is very powerful so can cool the living area quite quickly.

Beautiful Taupo, beautiful HomeStay

We were blown away by how beautiful the town of Taupo is. Equally blown away by our stay at Motouapa. We were able to accommodate Mum, Dad and 5 adult kids. We had a great time and would love to come back. Thanks for having us. Sue

Motuoapa Muthu (Pearl of Motuoapa)

Right from the reservation till the end of stay, everything was very professional, kudos to Luke and Michelle. The house was prepared well for our stay, totally no complaints. My uncle and aunt who came from India really loved the property. We all thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It's a large house and definitely can take 10 easily, though we were only 6. Worth the money. Than paying heavily to stay in Taupo city centre, this is very very sensible and ideal, it's just a 40 mins drive to the top of Taupo. Overall we had a wonderful experience. Highly recommended. God bless.

Hi Baskran, Thanks for the lovely review. You were a great guest and I would have you back anytime. I thinks it’s fair to say that you can easily get to Taupo in 30 mins but have done it 25mins. 😀 Cheers Luke

I'm married to Michelle and have 2 lovely girls. My wife and I travelled a lot before kids and still love to travel now. The opportunities to travel abroad are not the same as they use to be but we are very lucky to have the chance to explore our beautiful country Aotearoa (New Zealand). We've had lovely experiences using air bnb and now are lucky enough to be hosts ourselves. We pride ourselves in providing accommodation that we would be delighted to stay in.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Built in 2019, we chose this location as it had the best of both worlds, on lake Taupo for summer water sports and close to the mountain for winter skiing / snowboarding.
