Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich.Die Gegend ist auch im Winter traumhaft…(Auffahrt sehr Steil) Nur leider muss man die Pellets zum heizen selbst bezahlen (steht auch nicht in der Anzeige) und das Haus wird nicht sehr warm! Der Kamin ist aber ein Traum.Kaminholz wird auch extra berechnet (aber Verständlich)!

Very nice place with a fantastic view. The house was as presented in the pictures. One of the cleanest houses we have ever rented.Communication with Diego the owner was easy and very friendly.For us the living room with the open fire place was perfect. The kitchen is new and had everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed a good sleep.The area is perfect for hiking trips with mountains with fantastic view. Supermarket with all you need 10 minutes drive. You need a car to enjoy the place and the area. Nice drive up the mountain but no problem with a regular car.Highly recommended. We will come back!

Traumhaft,die Umgebung ist die Reise wert.Das Haus war toll, sehr viel Platz für drei Personen.Tolle Vermieter, macht weiter so.Berg tauglich sollte das Auto sein,wichtig. Ansonsten einfach die Berge genießen.Barga süße kleine Stadt.

Meget dejligt og roligt sted.Smuk udsigt over dalen og Barga, tiden står stille.Flot rengjort hus og med en terrasse hvor der er den flotte udsigt. Masser af gode informationer fra udlejer. Kan anbefales.

Super Aussicht

Die Aussicht ist echt der Hammer! Diego ist ein super und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Das Haus und die Ausstattung könnten allerdings etwas Auffrischung gebrauchen. Küchenaustattung und Geschirr sind nicht wirklich gut und nicht ausreichend für einen längeren Aufenthalt. Z.B. es gab nur ein Weinglas. Dafür ist der Pizzaofen top! Die Betten sind furchtbar laut und sollten dringend erneurt werden. Den angegebenen Gemeinschaftspool gibt es nicht, war uns aber auch nicht wichtig. Mit ein bischen Investitionen und ein bischen mehr Liebe fürs Detail wird das eine hervorangende Unterkunft!

Beautiful and quiet villa in northern Tuscany

We were looking for a house to accommodate a family of 5 in nothern Tuscany, allowing for excursions to nearby villages and the sea as well as to Florence and Lucca. Luckily we found Villa Trivium. Sonia and Diego are helpful and accurate, responding to all our questions and assisting with advice on where to go as well as household matters. The villa is located in a peaceful neighborhood, with the possibility of relaxing by the local swimmingpool in Albiano, take a walk to the beautiful city of Barga or make excursions to Lucca, Pisa or nearby seaside towns such as Viareggio. Car rental is strongly recommended.

Un petit coin de paradis chez Diego Sonia & Family

Maison superbement située sur les hauteur face à Barga L 'acces peux suprendre (route etroite) mais on s'y fait vite... De belles balades au depart de la maison pour les marcheurs qui n'ont pas peur de crapahuter , et aussi jolie visite (Pise, marima de Pise, Lucques...) Equipement pour passer un bon sejour (terrasse, chaise longue..) et se sentir chez soi L hote est attentionné et toujours pres à rendre service

Amazing stay

Stunning property with beautiful views. Very quiet area! House was very clean and the garden was beautiful . We did not have a car , but Diego helped us communicate with the local taxi service. Taxi took us into the town of Barga when we needed and picked us up ! Diego was also very quick to respond and willing to help out with anything we needed . Great experience. Thank you !

Een fijn huis in een prachtige omgeving

We hebben het heerlijk gehad in het huis, op het terras en in de tuin. We waren blij met de ruime slaapkamers en de grote badkamer. De keuken was relatief klein met weinig voorzieningen, maar we hebben ons er prima kunnen redden. Je vlees of vis bereid je toch buiten op de gemetselde gril. Boodschappen deden we op de lokale markten en bij een grote supermarkt vijf kilometer verderop. Er zijn genoeg lokale lekkernijen om van te genieten. De omgeving is schitterend. De omgeving van Barga is niet het Toscane dat je kent van schilderijen en TV, maar een prachtig berggebied met heel veel groen, oude dorpen en de mooiste uitzichten. Zowel voor wandelaars, fietsers, cultuurgenieters, rustzoekers als waaghalzen is er van alles te doen. Neem wel sneakers mee, op sandalen kom je niet ver genoeg! Voor een bezoek aan de zee, aan Lucca, Florence en Pisa is Barga ook een prima uitvalbasis. Tot slot was het contact met Sonia, Diego en Angelo prima. De wijn van Angelo is bovendien een echte aanrader.

Ferienhaus mit grandiosem Weitblick und schönem Garten

Das Ferienhaus liegt in herrlicher Südlage mit Blick auf Barga und die Apuanischen Alpen, 200m über dem Tal. Sehr ruhig, kaum Verkehr, 10 Autominuten nach Barga. Diego und Sonia sind sehr netter Vermieter, alles ganz unkompliziert.

Ein toller Ausblick und eine saubere Unterkunft

Das zweigeschossige Haus ist sehr sauber und nach einer sehr steilen Bergauffahrt zu erreichen. Der Ausblick von dort oben ist wirklich wunderschön. Man konnte den ganzen Tag auf der Terrasse verbringen, da es eine schöne elektrische Markise gab. Das Mobilar auf der Terrasse ist sehr wackelig, aber auch leicht, sodass man die Möbel problemlos verschieben kann. Die Zimmer sind alle gleichwertig. Das hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Küche ist wirklich einfach gehalten. Die Schubladen klemmen und für die Kaffeemaschine haben wir nirgends kleine Filtertüten bekommen. So haben wir die Espressokannen genutzt. Besonders schön war auch, dass es ein zweites Bad im Untergeschoss gab und dort befindet sich auch die sehr gute Waschmaschine. Leider war es sehr heiß, sodass wir den Gang zum kleinen Schwimmbad (Eintritt 6€ pro Person) anstrengend fanden. Erst recht nach Barga! Es ist halt alles steil, auch der Garten! Aus dem Inserat hatte ich mehrere Terrassen von den Bildern erwartet, aber es gab nur eine und ein kleines Gartenstück. Auf jeden Fall sollte Insektenschutz mitgenommen werden und eventuell Rauchspiralen. Von Diegos Vater und Mutter wurden wir häufig mit leckerem Obst und Gemüse überrascht. Da der Garten offenbar viel Pflege braucht, war er fast täglich da. Diego hat uns bei allen Problemen immer schnell geholfen. Vielen Dank! Wir möchten an dieser Stelle noch das Schwimmbad in Barga empfehlen. Es ist sehr gepflegt und größer als das in Albiano!

Idyllic slice of Tuscan Heaven

Because of the Covid-19 situation , we were not sure until the last minute that we were going to be able to go on this holiday. Sonia and Diego were so accommodating and understanding and extended the date for final payment until we could be sure we were going, risking their own income. Our flight arrived very late but Diego met us in Albiano to help us find the house in the dark, even though it was midnight. The house is spacious, the beds were comfortable, and the garden in just beautiful. We loved spending time relaxing up in the terraced garden, surrounded by lavender and fruit trees, with gorgeous views over Barga and the valley. Barga is a quick 10 minute drive, or a 50 minute walk down the mule track (longer in the way back , up the hill, in the heat!). The pool in Albiano is a 10 minute walk away and was beautifully maintained and situated. Diego’s dad popped in a couple of times with his delicious home grown tomatoes (the size of small pumpkins!) and courgettes. When we checked out , again with a late flight, the owners were so accommodating and let us stay at the house until later in the day as new guests were not arriving until the next day.

Sonia's family and the place are amazing! When we arrived, we immediately felt like home and, staying, we felt like being part of the family ourselves. The beautiful garden and fireplace contribute to the cozy atmosphere. The view is also breathtaking and many things to explore nearby. We had a fantastic stay!

Wonderful location with amazing views across the valley. Villa is perfect for self-catering, with the village of Albiano in easy reach. The owners are very helpful and friendly and we had a fantastic holiday.

Lovely house in a beautiful place. The description was accurate. Peaceful place up the mountain from Barga and the views were fabulous. I took so many photos of Barga in different lights and cloud formations. We were given a very warm welcome and a lovely touch to have a bottle of delicious family wine waiting for us. The house was clean and well equipped. The lounge area was small with only two easy chairs but we spent most of our time on the beautiful terrace enjoying the view. The bedrooms were large with comfy beds and lots of storage space. Good shower in the bathroom. Barga is a lovely town with plenty of restaurants and shops. Enjoyed the local restaurant in Albiano too. Grotto del Vente nearby and well worth a visit. The owners answered queries very quickly and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend this house if you want a peaceful holiday in a beautiful area of Tuscany.

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons passé une semaine fabuleuse dans une maison bien équipée et suffisamment grande pour nous sept (adultes) Les soirées sur la magnifique terrasse avec une vue somptueuse sur Barga , les belles promenades aux alentours et l 'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires en font une location parfaite! Pensez à apporter des bonnets de bain si vous voulez profiter de la piscine d'Albiano!

Bella vista

Sonia and Diego's lovely house was comfortable and well-equipped and suited our purposes admirably. But without doubt the outstanding feature was the view from the terrace, over to Barga and across the valley to the Alpi Apuane. The view changed with the light but was particularly striking at dawn and sunset. The garden was also lovely, with its fruit trees and bird life. We would have been happy staying there all day but there was walking to be done, across to Barga (a lovely town, and it takes little over half an hour to walk there), up the hill to Somma Colonia, and further afield to the mountains. The local trattoria (ten minutes walk) was friendly and serves good food, but we never found the local bar open. Be warned, the access road to the house is steep and winding, as are most of the roads in the vicinity, but its all worth it.

We bought the amazing view! Really incredible, we immediately fell in love with it. The added value was (and obviously is) the prestigiuos location, so close to Barga but in the mean time absoultely quiet and reserved.
