Giovanni was a most gracious host. The apartment is very spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, living area and bedroom. Being an enthusiastic walker I found it to be close to everything I wanted to see and do. It is minutes away from the Vatican on one side and about a 20 minute walk max in the opposite direction to the Spanish steps etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

The location of this property was superb. There were great restaurants and shops within a block or two in any direction. Twenty-minute walk to the Vatican, Pantheon, and Borghese Palace. Quiet street and safe as could be. I had to use four different keys to get into my apartment which was reassuring.

We loved the flat. It was perfect for our needs, and its location was ideal for walking to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc. Twice we took a taxi from Cavour Piazza (about 2 blocks from flat) to get to early morning activities near the Colosseum, but then gradually walked our way back to the flat enjoying churches and sites along the way. The flat is in a quieter neighborhood of Rome with a small grocery store nearby. Giovanni, the friendly owner, greeted us when we arrived and stayed in touch during our stay. We have friends who are considering a trip to Rome and we will definitely be recommending this flat to them. Note: If you are use to having a microwave to heat up leftover food from restaurants, there is not one on site, but an oven and stovetop are provided.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful apartment! Giovanni was a great host and met us at the apartment. He was most gracious and gave us lots of tips on the neighborhood. I’d highly recommend staying here, and do so again myself! Grazie Mille!!

From the airport pickup, to the drop off, it couldn’t have been better. Giovanni gave us some great restaurants and fruit stores to go to. This was our first trip to Rome and the City was wonderful and everyone we met was so friendly. The location was perfect, walked to Vatican City, and walked to the Spanish Steps. Can’t wait to come back.

Beautiful stay

Casa Visconti was a wonderful experience, located within short walking distance to everything. Giovanni was very kind during the check in process and gave us a few great recommendations for restaurants around the apartment! I would definitely stay here again

Very near Vatican

We had a terrific stay at Giovanni’s. Great restaurants/cafes/coffee/pastries nearby. Short walk to the Vatican if that is on your list. Giovanni was very helpful with recommendations and travel.

Location exceeded expectations. Walk to almost everywhere. Host is very nice and helpful.Pillows and mattress were old and quite uncomfortable.No coffee pot, pitcher, teapot or dish cloth/sponge in kitchen.1 towel, 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel for a 4 day stay.

really helpful host

our stay here was amazing! Giovanni was so helpful and we really appreciated him coming in person to help with check-in and figuring out the doors/keys. the place itself was gorgeous with an awesome balcony view, very clean, and located so well within the city.

Excellent in every way..

Giovanni is a very good host, helpful and courteous. His place is very clean, the amenities are as described and in good working order. The location is perfect for visiting the city of Rome and the Vatican. We would easily come back.

Classy apartment in great area

Quiet & comfortable

Great location and attentive host

My husband and I loved our stay at Casa Visconti. The location is great with many restaurants and cafés nearby. We walked to all the major attractions. The furthest was the Colosseum at around 43 minutes. Giovanni was a wonderful host and communication with him is immediate.

Charming flat in great location

The flat is charming and provides a great amount of space for a couple. The elevator is beautiful and fantastic for your luggage. The location is perfect, walkable to all attractions yet a little removed from the congested centre. The host Giovanni was very pleasant to deal with and very helpful. We highly recommend this place to stay in Rome.
