Hello, firstly thank you for choosing to view our Villa Apo Petra in Crete. We are a young family who live in on the South Coast of the UK. We aim to provide our guests with a beautiful home-from-home villa which is set in an enviable position with unrivelled views.
From the moment you make an enquiry with us we encourage you to ask as many questions you feel necessary to ensure our villa meets your requirements for a perfect holiday in Crete. Kokkino Chorio is a typically Cretan village with a small grocery store and a couple of kefalonia. When we drove through the village in 2005 and ventured on our way up the mountain road we arrived at a plot of land that had the most amazing views of the sea. We never purchase on impulse usually but it felt so right we said yes immediately to reserving the plot and that was how our story began.
On that land now stands our beautiful stone built villa and the views still amaze us and we feel very lucky.
We hope that through care and our attention to detail a holiday at our villa makes you feel as good as we do every time we visit there ourselves.
NW Crete and the Apokoronas, under the cape of the Drapanokefalas mountain is beautiful, but just a small part of this amazing island.

Our villa boasts spectacular views over Souda Bay. We are also 5 minutes drive from local restaurants in Plaka, a further 2 minutes and you will be at the small, once fishing village, of Almyrida, the beach, shops and seafront tavernas.
The villa location is perfect for peace and quiet yet it is very convenient to all the local amenities.
For lazy sunny days at the villa the pool is perfect for cooling off and it commands beautiful views of the Agean as well as being a perfect location to watch the sunset over Souda Bay.
