The Bear Lodge was perfect for my husband and I and our 5 adult kids. The location was great for hikes to Mount Rainier. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hot tub was awesome after a long day of hiking.

We had a wonderful time for our annual Labor Day trip. This house was perfect for our family. We didn’t need to reach out to the hosts at all because everything was perfect! We saw Elk almost everyday in the backyard!

We had a 4 couple group going in and out of the National Park (easy drive ) each day. The Bear Lodge could not have been better. ( It’s such a comfortable place we would have been fine just staying there! )We found good comfort food 3minutes away in Packwood. With all the appliances we could have fixed food right there. The log cabin pictures are quite accurate…. And we can verify: there really are bears there!

We rented to be in Packwood for a wedding at the Packwood Station. The afternoon we pulled in the bear was in the driveway hence the name Bear Lodge. The elk came the next morning. The home is clean and comfortable. Roomy and well stocked. The area is quiet. We will stay again.

Cozy log cabin with in walking distance of The enter of Packwood, very comfortable for our group of eight women hikers. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, wonderful outdoor spaces with lawn chairs, a hammock, and table and chairs that could seat all of us. This is our second time staying in Bear Lodge and we will return.

Bear Lodge was comfortable and amazing. Mornings began with three coffee maker options, tons of cozy seating, large tables inside and out, great hot tub, and a fire pit to enjoy a campfire and the glorious night sky to close out the evening. Close enough to town to walk to dinner but what an oasis of nature on the back deck gazing on Mt Rainier.

Beautiful home! Very clean and has everything we needed! The beds were all very comfortable. Loved that the host had coffee and all the toiletries we may need. Perfect wooded location, we had an elk cross right in front of the place. Packwood is a perfect location! Great coffee shop and local brewery. Set a new standard for future VRBO stays.

Bear lodge is a beautiful property! The cabin was clean and the comfortable. The hosts supplied many of the essentials needed for our stay. (Coffee, soaps, shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent, etc..)It’s so close to Mt. Rainier NP and the small community of Packwood is such a neat place to visit. We actually had two elk visit the backyard on the first morning of our stay! We loved our stay at Bear lodge!

This property didn’t disappoint. It was a beautiful house on property. They did a great job making sure the house was stocked with everything one would need. Loved the fire pit and hot tub, also really like how close to town the property is but you feel far out. The host Racheal was great, responded quickly and was prompt on giving me the important information I needed for the house. I would definitely stay at this property again!!!

Our family of 9 stayed here and really enjoyed it. The house was very cute for a mountain vacation, we even had elk in the backyard one day. Communication from the host was very thorough and checking in was easy. The only thing we all commented on was we were there during a bit of a heat wave and the bedrooms don't have ac, only fans and open windows, which normally would be great but there was a small fire nearby and it was too smokey to have the windows open. Such a random issue I'd still give it 5 stars. We enjoyed our stay!

Thanks for sharing your clean and cozy log cabin. Our family of 7 had a wonderful time hiking, making meals in fully equipped kitchen, and enjoying time in your private outdoor space. There was plenty of seating, inside and out, so we could gather together or have some quiet time. The house is close to town for limited supplies. We did some amazing hikes in Mt Rainier NP. It was perfect house for our family.

Lovely cozy welcoming house perfect for our family get together. House is at the end of a small street. Very quiet. Kitchen fully loaded with quality cookware and utensils, we found everything we needed to cook breakfasts. Dinner not attempted but definitely wouldn't miss anything. Wide selection of coffee and tea. Bathrooms loaded with towels and toiletries. Host was very responsive and accommodating, plus there’s clear instructions for everything posted in the house. There are books lying around and a good collection of board games too. Highly recommended.
