Lovely traditional house in a great location. Only a minute away from the markets and bars/restaurants. Five minutes or so walk to the Pingo supermarket. The sun terrace was fantastic, with the balcony down a few steps for a coffee or glass of wine or two. Larger than the photos show, so ideal for couples. We had a lovely time here and will hopefully return!

This is a great location for a stay in Olhao, for enjoying the historic streets and handy for the ferry to the beaches. The bedroom is on the ground floor and we thought it might be noisy but this was not a problem. The quiet A/C in the bedroom was much appreciated! Having a BBQ grill on the balcony was fantastic for cooking the fish from the AMAZING local market which is a couple of minutes walk away. This place is small but has everything you need.

The best thing about the accommodation was how promptly Neil, the host, responded to our queries and questions. What’s more, the accommodation is in an excellent location and is very cosy, perfect for enjoying a few relaxing days.

Property was a little difficult to find as we arrived very late and the house was now painted white /light blue not white/grey.Overall we enjoyed our short stay and would return.Just a note to say if you have mobility issues the stairs are very steep and narrow.

Location was excellent! One block from the market, and a 5 minute walk to a grocery store and parking. But the noise, and music, from the nearby bar was loud and went late into the night. We loved the rooftop patio! The stairs to all levels are very steep and narrow! Kitchen was small but adequate, well stocked with what we needed for meals. Aside from the stairs, the only other negative is that the shower leaked all over the floor, a lot!

Everything was great, easy location to get to and using keypad to get in, all went easily enough. The house had everything that you would need, location is excellent too. Communication with Neil was straightforward and he was extremely helpful. If we ever return, which we might we would definitely stay again. Olhao is a beautiful place.

Winter Get Away

Lovely little apartment in the heart of Olhao. Everything was in walking distance, lots of restaurants, shopping & very relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent location to enjoy Olhao, close to the best bars, restaurants, markets and the ferry to the islands. Good sized bedroom with quiet, effective air con. Both terraces are south facing so get a lot of sun! The stairs are steep and narrow but take your time and use the handrail and you'll be fine!

Conveniently located, cosy apartment

This property is excellently located close to Olhao's centre and is a good place from which to explore other spots in the Algarve, along the train line. The property is small but just enough space for 1 or two people, and the roof terrace and balcony are lovely spaces for enjoying the morning and evening sunshine. Communication with the owner/ manager about the property was efficient and very pleasant.

Great week in this property

Property very clean ,local manager Ze very helpful ,friendly and efficient. Great location, handy for everything. A high scale street map is available for free at the Tourist Information Centre which is really helpful for exploring Olhao. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Lovely stay

We had a lovely stay in this quaint townhouse last week. It has everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing holiday. It’s so close to the restaurants, bars, waterfront and ferries to the beautiful islands. The communication with the owner prior to travelling was prompt and very helpful and we had no issues during our stay. Thank you!

Great location

100m from municipal market (awesome place for fish, meat and vegetables), a beautiful building, and 300m from ferry to Armona, Culatra and Farol islands, great beaches. ONLY downside is the lack of AC on top floor.

I currently own and rent this propertyt in the olhao and have renovated a further three, all in the Olhao area. This 'pastime' started when I came across a really old derelict building that was for sale. I made an offer and the rest is history! It is such a great experience to see an old building knocked down and replaced with a vastly improved one! The olhao properties have all undertaken major renovation work (as apposed to a complete rebuild). It is a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.

The challenge was to find somewhere in the centre of town but still in a quiet area. This property is as near as you will find to this description as no cars are allowed down the cobbled walkways.

If you walk fifty yards, numerous restaurants, bars and shops await. Not to mention the harbour and sea beyond!

This property was formerly a run down, semi derelict house. after my purchase, a major renovation project started. twelve months later, the end result is a beautiful, perfectly located, townhouse. This property seems to have more 'return visitors' than any other I have owned.

No cars whistling by your front door and a perfect location. Within fifty yards or so is everything you could need, including the sea! Olhao is a growing area with lots of new builds on the outskirts of town. However, Casa de Esquinha is right in the heart of this fishing village.
