Revesby guest house

The guest house was comfortable, quite and well stocked with the things you need. Its small, but suited our needs well. We enjoyed our stay. The hosts are also very nice communicate well and are helpful

4 days in Sydney

The hosts Otto and Anna were the loveliest people. The house was spotlessly clean, near to the train station, great for getting into the centre and very good value for money. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Very pleasant and confortable casita

We had a nice stay at this casita in April 2024. It’s clean, well equipped and well situated, about 9 minutes walk from the train station Revesby and very close to grocery stores. The owners, Otto and Anna, are very nice and friendly people. We had a very good time and we share good stories together. We will stay again and recommend to our friends this casita.

Perfection

The house is very cozy and clean The neighborhood is quiet, a fabulos park across the street from the home. It is a short walk to restaurants, buses or trains. The trains I used frequently for travel to Sydney. The hospitality of Otto and Anna went beyond nice to exceptional. I had coffee regularly with them. The conversations will be remembered for a long time. I feel like I've made friends here.

Outstanding

Otto and Anna the owners were fantastic people 5+ stars. We were able to enjoy a drink in the evening in the yard admiring all the flowers they have growing. A 8-10 minute walk to the train station which provides cheap transportation everywhere in the area. I’d definitely recommend anyone staying here download the public transportation app and take advantage of it. Much easier than driving. We didn’t cook but there’s several grocery stores close by and the kitchen had everything you would need. Anna and Otto also can help on any questions you have about the area.

A home away from home thoroughly enjoyed my stay

I am writing this review because I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in the self-contained flat. the minute I walk through I had a good feeling and calm. The flat is fully furnished it has everything you can think of or what you would have in your own home. The flat was immaculately clean, with everything in its place. The flat is conveniently located with the train station a couple of blocks away. The station is a direct line to the domestic & international airport and the city of Sydney. The shopping center is also located also near the station. If traveling by car there is ample parking and a couple kilometers from the M5 freeway which will take to various locations in Sydney. I stayed for two weeks and I have no hesitation in recommending this flat. The owners of the property are very welcoming and kind. They left you alone to do your thing but couldn't help to stop having a chat because of they genuine and lovely people. They really went out their way to ensure you enjoyed your stay. I even enjoyed a nice red wine with them and tried some of the best orange cake I have ever had. You won't be disappointed in staying in this location. John G (Gold Coast Qld)

Wir haben wundervolle, entspannende Tage bei Anna und Otto verbracht. Das Gästehaus ist sauber und geräumig und mit allem ausgestattet was man sich nur vorstellen kann. Frische Apfelsinen und Annas selbstgemachte Orangenmarmelade gibt es zur Begründung. Die Lage ist zentral . Es gibt eine direkte Verbindung mit der Bahn zur City( Curcular Qualität und beiden Flughäfen. Auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Rundum perfekt!

Home away from home with terrific hosts

Anna and Otto were perfect hosts. The accommodation was spotless with well appointed kitchen making preparing meals easy. Immaculate well manicured gardens. Enjoyed some of Anna's freshly made homemade orange jam from oranges picked that day from tree in backyard. Delicious! 15 stars on 10 star scale!

Very comfortable stay at Revesby

Hosts Anna and Otto were friendly and welcoming at all times. The self-contained accommodation was very comfortable, including a well appointed kitchen and spacious living room.

Excellent place to stay

This is an Excellent place to stay. I wish I could give it more than 5 Stars. The owners of this property have provided everything that one could need down to the last utensils also. It was just so lovely & comfortable to stay at this place. Once you stay at this property you wouldn't want to shift to even the best 5 Star Hotels in Sydney.

Life with Otto and Anna

This was absolutely my best rental experience ever. My hosts were the friendliest and most generous people. They went out of their way to help me through my COVID self-isolation. I spent most afternoon sitting on the covered patio in conversation with Otto, learning about his life and sharing my own experiences.

Great place with easy access

We had a wonderful few days with Anna and Otto and would highly recommend. They could not do enough for us, shopped while we had to quarantine, brought us a home made Hungarian meal and slices of freshly baked cakes. Every thing you need in the house.

Guardian Angel

This is a quiet neighbourhood secluded and away from noisy streets and trucks but an easy 10 minute walk to stores and trains and buses. We felt very secure never threatened in any way day or night. The property can easily be described as a Garden of Eden idilic with palm trees and many plants too numerous to name. Although the owners share this Garden of Eden they were never in our face but always ready to fix a problem or help in any way. Otto fixed a shoe for me and Anna replaced a curtain I damaged no charge. We came to their place from Canada knowing no-one in the Sydney area and they made us feel like we were family even inviting us for a real Hungarian Goulash dinner (they are of Hungarian heritage) They became true friends. Loved the place and would sure go back if in the Sydney area. Thanks Anna and Otto for making our holiday (2 1/2 months) such a lovely time. Bruce and Nancy MacLaurin

Lovely little Home from Home

My wife and I stayed here whilst visiting our daughter for two weeks in September and could not have wished for better accommodation. It has everything you need and more to make your stay a pleasant one and the owners, Otto and Anna, are the perfect hosts,(thank you for the bottle of wine to welcome us and the milk in the fridge). They respect your privacy as the bungalow is at the rear of theirs but are available at any time should you require them. We had regular chats as we passed through to the side gate on our way in or out. The property is well maintained with a brand new kitchen and although the bedroom and lounge may not be what you are used to at home, are sufficient for what we needed to relax in and the bed is very comfortable. It is so quiet with the only sound being the birds during the day and the frogs at night. It is situated approx 5 minutes walk from the main areas of Revesby which has a large Woolworths and some lovely coffee shops,bakeries,food outlets and the train station. The trains are so regular and it takes approx 25-30 minutes to get to Sydney. I can't say enough about this property but for value for money it is unbeatable and if we come to Sydney again we will definitely be looking to stay here again. Love the property, the owners and as Revesby is such a lovely place, the location.
