FINCA SON MATGINET 18 - Villa with private pool in SINEU.

This charming country house for 6 guests with a private pool is located in Sineu.
The property has a beautiful area with a 10x4m-sized pool with a salted water (0.80-1.80m deep), where you can take a refreshing dip and after sunbathe on one of four loungers and at night spend a pleasant evening with the family having a dinner. There is a fantastic barbecue area with a gas cooker, two ovens and wood stove. The garden is surrounded by lemon and orange trees.

The two-storey house retains its Majorcan style due to its stone walls and robust wooden beams. On the ground floor there is a spacious living-dining room with a wood stove and a satellite TV. The kitchen equipped with a gas hob becomes a very special corner, because it is separated from this space with a small arch that makes it more accessible and useful. There is a washing machine, iron and ironing board. There are two bedrooms: one with two single beds and another with a double bed. Both have wardrobes and en-suite bathrooms with shower. The third bathroom with shower is located also on this floor. Upstairs you will find the third bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, a sitting area, air conditioning with heat pump, and an en-suite shower bathroom. A cot and a highchair can be provided upon request. Three radiators will make your stay more comfortable in winter.

Within a few minutes walk you reach the center of Sineu, a small and charming town. In restaurants, so-called cellers, you can try a homemade food and Majorcan wines. On Wednesdays you can buy fresh fruits and vegetables in the local market. Sport lovers can go hiking or cycling through the wheat fields. Sineu is surrounded by Maria de la Salut, Lloret de Vista Alegre or Llubí towns. Regarding the beaches, in less than 30 minutes drive you will reach the beautiful familiy friendly beaches of Puerto de Alcúdia, Ca'n Picafort or Puerto de Pollença.

The Ecotasa (tourist tax) must be paid cash on site when checking in. The amount varies between 0.55€/night and guest during the low season and 2.2€/night and guest during the high season. The tax is reduced by half from the 9th day of your stay. All guests have to pay the Ecotasa, except people under 16 years.

A perfect few days!

This property and host were EVERYTHING we needed! A home from home, the grounds are more extensive than expected and have a traditional feel throughout. They are impeccably clean, spacious, and incredibly pretty. You can pick fruit off the trees; the outdoor kitchen and BBQ/dining area were a huge draw, and we utilised this every night. Lots of equipment and utensils to use. We barely left the place, although we did venture out for dinner on our last evening, walking into the nearby town for a 20-minute stroll. We found the loveliest little bars and restaurants at the top of the town, where we enjoyed the best food! Thank you to Yolanda and her husband for being so thoughtful. A bottle of wine, water, and juice awaited our midnight arrival, and we received a morning delivery of delicious pastries. We will be back next year!

Lovely traditional house

As a family with 2 teens we enjoyed our stay at the property. The pool was great with lots of outdoor seating areas. Sineu is the most wonderful and quaint town. The people were warm and friendly. You could walk to the restaurants. The hosts were friendly and quick to answer our queries. It was easy to reach other areas of the island by car.

Relaxing break

Main dealings were with the property agent leaving up to the stay who responded to queries quickly and efficiently then upon arrival were met by the owners who couldn't have been more welcoming, very friendly and helpful with showing us around the villa, how things work and offered advice on the local area. So kind to bring us Mallorcan pastries one morning. The villa was full of rustic charm but with a modern swimming pool. Ticked all the boxes for a relaxing break which was needed after being cooped up in the UK for 18 months!

Super séjour à sineu

Très chouette séjour passé à la villa. Elle est magnifique, avec une très belle piscine et un beau potager. Les chambres sont nickels, la déco est dans le jus espagnol, typique. Les propriétaires sont super accueillants et sont la en cas de probleme, ils se débrouillent même en français. La localisation n'est pas optimale sans voiture, mais nous nous sommes débrouiller sans aucuns soucis. A recommander !

Wir haben in dieser Finca eine sehr schöne Zeit verlebt. Die Gastgeber Gabriel und Yolanda sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Die Finca ist sehr schön gelegen und versorgte uns mit ihrem großen Garten mit frischem Gemüse und Obst. Besonders gut hat den Kindern natürlich der Pool gefallen...
