* 25 BEAUTIFUL HOMES MAGAZINEの2019年1月号に掲載されたこの美しいアパートは、ガラのサニーコーブと海に面した高台に位置しています。 最近改装され、インテリアデザイナーの所有者によって非常に高い水準で家具が置かれ、快適でスタイリッシュです。 このプロパティは、印象的なビクトリア朝のヴィラの3階を構成していますが、道路レベルでアクセスでき、駐車場があります。 敷地内の屋外温水スイミングプールは、隣接する3つのアパートメントの居住者と共有され、シャワー付きの更衣室があります。 ウェリントンは、美しい港町のサルコムから徒歩10分のところにあります。たくさんのブティックショップやカフェ、いくつかの美しい砂浜があります。最も近いのはノースサンズと有名な「ウィンキングエビ」ビーチカフェです。

The apartment is three stories high from some windows & has a balcony. It is therefore not suitable for children unless under constant supervision!

Great stay at Wellingtons. The apartment is lovely, very comfortable for a family of five with the added benefit of an outdoor pool, which we used multiple times after the beach. It’s not far from Salcombe centre but still a good 25mins uphill when walking back to the apartment (we had little ones). We would highly recommend and would return. Thanks!

Beautiful property in a great location. Perfect size for 6 adults with a gorgeous view from the balcony. Thankfully the heated outdoor pool was much warmer than the sea!!

Lovely apartment

Spacious, stylish and well equipped. Very comfortable for a family stay. The location gives a fab view and is close enough to town. Lovely to have parking. There are steps which might be an issue for less mobile people but our 77 not so fit managed ok. The lovely large pool was a real bonus and was warm. Definitely recommend.

A great stay

We had a wonderful stay at Wellingtons. The apartment was perfect for our family - spacious and beautifully furnished but also very practical for a young family. The pool was super clean and warm - the children loved it. We enjoyed the walk into town - Salcombe is a great location with plenty of food options. South Sands beach was great with the added bonus of amenities. If you love gardens you must visit Overbecks National Trust - it is stunning. I should also add that our host was very quick at responding to our questions and very helpful.

Amazing beautifully designed apartment in great location

This is a fantastic apartment beautifully designed in a wonderful location. So much thought has gone into the fixtures and fittings with luxury and comfort in mind. The pool is set in a lovely garden and is private and secluded. Close to town centre and North/South Sands. I would highly recommend.

Fabulous break .

Diana was most helpful, my messages were answered promptly & she was most informative.However I would not choose to book through VrboNext time , I would prefer to book with the host.The Apartment was fabulous, gorgeous view from our balcony , well equipped and spotlessly clean .The walk into Salcombe was only 10 minutes .Had lovely lunches at the Winking Prawn & Crab shack .Small things , but if would have been useful to have had a small jug of milk in the fridge for a cup of tea & a few dish washer tablets & a couple off bin bags.

Lovely apartment with sea view. Short hilly walk into Salcombe. Sadly we didn’t sleep the last evening due to fire alarm battery dying and couldn’t be silenced. Owner kept in touch but they couldn’t get anyone as it was Bank holiday.

Fabulous Apartment

Fabulous apartment, tastefully decorated. Great views of the estuary from lounge and bedroom with a lovely balcony. Bedroom 3 a little snug with a shower room across the hall. Two good sized en-suite bedrooms. Two allocated parking spaces. Easy walk into Salcombe but very hilly coming up from Salcombe or North Sands. Great food at Winking Prawn and amazing Sunday lunch at Gara Rock. Definitely recommend this apartment.

Stunning rooms, pool and view

A very smart, spacious and comfortable apartment, beautifully decorated with a lovely balcony looking out over the estuary and the sea (you can hear the waves crashing). The heated pool was a real treat too. An easy walk down to north sands beach and the town (the walk back up the hill requires a little more effort but worth it). A great place to stay.

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful time staying at Wellingtons. The apartment was very spacious and had everything that we needed. It was very clean and tidy. The apartment is in a beautiful location of Salcombe and also has lovely beach views. Looking forward to returning in September again.

Our 25 year old daughter has grown up digging on Salcombe's sandy beaches and mucking about on boats in the Estuary!

The Salcombe estuary is arguably one of the most scenic seaside locations in the UK. For us, like so many others it was love at first sight, Salcombe is the perfect place to unwind as it has something to suit everyone. We really feel with have the best of all worlds here, a lovely bustling town, full of life with lovely boutiques and restaurants, but with easy access to the coastal paths where you can easily find your own peaceful spot to admire the gorgeous views. The area really is a boating paradise, whether you want to Sail at the Island Cruising Club, take a ferry to one of the sandy beaches, hop on a scenic tour or hire your own vessel and explore the inland creeks (and pubs!)

Wellingtons is the perfect choice for a relaxing break, you really don't need to get back in the car for the duration of your stay. Everything is in walking distance, We are a ten minute downhill stroll to both Salcombe town and Northsands Beach, where the famous Winking Prawn beach cafe/bistro is situated & open all day. Being just a short distance from the town, Wellingtons is a lovely peaceful retreat, especially in the high season when the town is bustling, you can come back for a swim in the lovely outdoor pool. (Please note the pool is open from the late May Bank holiday to Mid September, please check with owner for exact dates).

We are Interior Designers and this apartment is our beloved home. It has been our aim to make the interior both elegant and tasteful as well as relaxing and comfortable.
