Vincent is a superb host at this lovey gite. Everything that you need is there. It’s a very peace place. There is so much to do in the surrounding area and this is a great base. The swimming pool is a great asset, used every day.

Perfect Gite and Stay

Fabulous gite in a wonderful location with a host that couldn’t be more helpful and pleasant. If you want a quiet get away in the middle of nowhere but not far from all the places you’d like to visit, this is the one. Will definitely be back in some time!

Beautiful, Scenic and Quiet Gite

Stayed in Treetops in July and very much enjoyed our stay. The accommodation is really excellent and Maria and Vincent lovely and knowledgeable hosts. It is in a very quiet 'tucked out of the way' location but very close to many local attractions and facilities. We always made sure we returned in good time each day to enjoy the tremendous view as the sun set. Great fun keeping an eye out for local wildlife or the occasional hot air balloon passing over. Thoroughly recommended.

A wonderful holiday

The area around St Cybranet is so gorgeous and full of things to see and do that you're guaranteed to have a fantastic time but coming back to this stunning gite ensured every minute of our holiday was wonderful. Vince and Maria have taken great care with the accommodation so that you relax and feel 'home from home' immediately you arrive. We loved cooling off in the pool at the end of a busy day out or relaxing in the hammocks with a book. The view from the balcony was amazing and ever-changing; hot air balloons floating by; bats swooping past; gorgeous sunsets. We loved our holiday and are really hoping to revisit next year.

Wonderful Stay

Beuatiful stay in treetops that was even nicer than the pictures.Room had everything and a view that was outstanding. We generally eat out when on holiday but sitting on the balcony on a warm evening haveing your meal was so peacful and relaxing we actually cooked and ate in just as much Vjncent and Maria are lovely and will help with anything you need but also respect your privacy as you want it .The pool has been set up so both Barn rooms have there own private area with bushes and lavender as barriers which is a nice touch and it does make it feel you are on yiur own .We had lovely weather and i would reccomend the area as there is so much to see and would definetly recommend tree tops as a place to stay Andy and Diane

Phenomenal

My stay at Tree Tops exceeded all of my expectations. It was by far the best experience I've had at a VRBO property. The property itself was beautiful, quiet and serene. Over the top gorgeous. The grounds and surrounding countryside were unbelievably picturesque. Very walkable, which I did a few days during my stay. The gite was well appointed, cozy and perfect. Everything a person would want. The staples of eggs, milk, juice, cheese, butter, baguette, candy and champagne were especially appreciated after a long travel experience. Tree Tops was just what I was looking for, and then some. The owner Vincent was a most gracious host. I also had the opportunity to meet his daughter, son-in-law, and their beautiful baby. They were most welcoming and equally kind as well. I was invited for some (very good) wine and lovely conversation on the terrace several times during my two week stay at Les Bruguettes, the main house next door where Vincent lived. Vincent was also helpful in suggesting and securing dinner reservations many evenings at some great restaurants. That was so helpful, as we didn't have a clue on where to go, and what places were open on what days, and the hours of service. My son, and his Fiancé stayed at the Owl Barn gite next door the first week. My friends stayed there the second week. We all had such a wonderful time! Lest I not forget to mention I was also afforded the opportunity of a most enjoyable and fun ride in Vincent's fabulous Porsche! What a highlight! Staying at Tree Tops was an absolute pleasure and delight. Above and beyond. Truly an unforgettable experience I will cherish forever. Thank you for your sincerity, kindness and hospitality Vincent!

Logement idéale pour découvrir la Dordogne. Tout confort ( très agréable d’avoir la climatisation en période de canicule). La vue du balcon est merveilleuse (On a eu la chance de voir un soir deux chevreuils). L’accueil de Vincent est juste formidable. D’une gentillesse, discret mais disponible.

Es war alles perfekt! Der Ausblick vom Balkon ins Tal, die absolute Ruhe, der wunderschöne Pool, den wir ganz für uns alleine hatten und der nette Gastgeber! Wir wurden mit einem sehr großzügigen Willkommenspaket begrüßt, sodass wir uns vom ersten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt haben.

Tout était parfait : Le gite avec une vue imprenable, le calme, la literie, le stationnement, la piscine... Je recommande ! et c'est idéalement situé pour les sites touristiques, les villages ... @ Le plus: un panier garni vous attend pour votre arrivée avec un vin local ! Lovely week - lovely weather

Lovely property and Vincent was always on hand if needed. Having lovely weather and the pool to cool down was a huge bonus. Even though the pool is shared with the other property on site the seating areas are separate which gives privacy. Really enjoyed our stay.

Another fabulous stay!

A third wonderful holiday at Les Bruguettes. Vincent as ever was welcoming and helpful. The views from the balcony are amazing, and the grounds and pool lovely to spend time in. So much to do in the area. We would hope to return yet again!

Perfect nest in the countryside

Amazing experience. We arrived late at night and our apartment was stocked with chilled champagne and eggs and fruit and milk for breakfast. We loved the ideal pool with lavender and very green and lovely garden. I went running every morning and saw a lovely red fox. Wonderful restaurants in every direction(reserve in advance). Vincent was a wonderful host. Wouldn’t change a thing.

Fabulous!

A fabulous gite with an amazing view, perfectly situated in the calm, but not far from all the beaux villages. The gite itself is really comfortable with a charming interior, fully equipped with a great welcome package. The pool is simply beautiful and tranquil, surrounded by planted borders giving a feeling of calm and seclusion. Vincent is an amazing host, really kind and helpful, especially when our flight back home was cancelled; it was a pleasure to have met him and we certainly intend to return. I would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Just what we needed.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Tree Tops apartment. The owner, Vincent is friendly and welcoming and most helpful with holiday tips and advice. The views from the property are stunning and an evening spent on the balcony with a glass of Bergerac is a sheer delight. It was very hot when we arrived so the swimming pool was a slice of heaven. Plenty to do and see in the area. Recommend taking a canoe down the river and a trip into Sarlat.

Wonderful week

We spent a wonderful week in the 2-person gite, Cime des Arbes (Treetops). What a great place to use as home base when exploring Dordogne. Sites and towns we were interested in visiting were a scenic drive on country roads, and mornings and evenings were spent getting away from it all on the beautiful property Vincent has the gite located on. Describing the Treetops gite has to start with the view. The long range, pastoral scene that can be taken in from the deck and out the large windows is even better than the picture in the listing. The gite is perfectly laid out for 2 people. Nicely appointed and decorated with rustic charm. The bed was quite comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with all equipment we needed for cooking. The weather got hot on several of the days we were there, so we also got a chance to enjoy a swim in the pool. Sitting around the pool was also a pleasure, as Vincent has created an interesting landscape design in the pool area and added comfortable outdoor furniture. Vincent was a great host. He welcomed us and showed us around the gite and the property, and was friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We highly recommend a stay at Treetops. Curt & Pat Valdosta, GA USA

Sehr entspannte und angenehme Woche

Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet was erforderlich ist. Trotz der Nähe zu vielen Highlights an der Dordogne hat man dort die absolute Ruhe. Der Gastgeber war sehr herzlich und hat uns viele gute Tipps gegeben. Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit.

Parenthèse enchantée

Tout est fait pour que l’on se sente chez soi, jusqu’à l’aménagement d’un espace pour s’isoler au bord de la piscine ! Vincent est un hôte discret, extrêmement accueillant, toujours disponible, mais surtout incroyablement gentil et que l’on a plaisir à apprendre à connaitre. On a apprécié cette parenthèse de calme avec une vue splendide à deux pas de tout ce que la Dordogne peut offrir. On souhaite déjà pouvoir y revenir !

Before we bought this property it had belonged to friends of ours - so we knew the house for about 20 years before we moved in. We fell in love with it when we first saw it, just as we did with the Dordogne area.

Guests love the outstanding, uninterrupted views they have from Treetops, as well as the large private swimming pool surrounded by landscaped gardens, woodland and a meadow. Despite the fact it's a tranquil, secluded location, it's only a short drive to some of the most beautiful and popular sites in the Dordogne.
