Great Condo at Our Favorite Beach

This was a perfect condo for our family vacation. We love The Cabana de Mar...and this was my favorite unit we have stayed in. It was clean, comfortable, and the perfect spot for us!

Clean, cool, and comfortable!

First impression was ‘WOW’! Extremely clean and very comfortable accommodation. Our party of 3 were very comfortable with the space. Good communication with rental. Will definitely stay here again!

Cleanliness

Overall, it was a decent place to stay with the exception of the comforters on the beds, they had a stinch of sweating humans on them. We washed them ourselves so we could sleep knowing that no one else's body odor was with us. It was a bit smaller than we anticipated but that wasn't a problem because it was just my wife and me. Location was Great!!!

Location was top notch!

So great! View the sunrise over the ocean every day from your own balcony! No obstructive views. Steps away to the boardwalk and all entertainment and restaurants. Perfect in every way!

Great Location

This was our first time visiting Carolina Beach. We were so happy with the condo and the location. We parked our car when we got there and didn’t need to drive anywhere all week. The location is perfect and the condo had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place

We had a wonderful time. The mattresses were wonderful and soft. It was so much space. The only thing i would suggest is a step stool. I had to use a chair to reach the top cabinets.

Perfect!

Location, convenience, excellent condo. It was Definitely worth it. Not really a complaint but I advise others that 6 people inside will be tight and gets uncomfortable to lounge in the living/eating space.. 4 adults and maybe a child would be perfect.

Wonderful Stay

Is it possible to stay on the boardwalk, oceanfront AND enjoy a quiet stay? Yes, in this beautiful 4th floor (top floor) condo. Above and beyond providing all the necessary comforts, this condo was clean and beautifully decorated. Covered parking was plentiful, but we enjoyed walking to a different restaurant each of our 7 nights. If I was to suggest any improvement, it would be to install a door code in place of the hard key. The lock was sticky at times.

Cabana Suites - Unit 409

Unit 409 was very clean and appropriately appointed. The beds and sofa were a bit hard for our preferences. However, we were disappointed in Cabana Suites as a whole. We have stayed at Cabana Suites in various units multiple times and Cabana Suites has gone down hill Both the larger and the baby pool were closed the entire week with no prior notice or explanation. There was a trash bag in the stair well the whole time that was leaking, and the general upkeep was lacking. Is the Cabana Suites under new management?

Perfect location

Cabana Suites is the perfect location-everything’s within walking distance. 409 is nicely decorated with high quality appliances and cabinetry. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Convenient location

Cabana 409 is a nice condo. It is a tad small but it worked. The air conditioning did stop working on day 3 but Sea Coast Rentals had it fixed ASAP. The check-in and check-out process was very easy. The location worked out well. Convenient to everything. Easy access to beach. Pool area was very nice also. Overall, our stay was great.

Very nice

I would definitely go back to this Cabana! It is smaller than the pics but we didn't mind that the views made up for that. Very comfy beds everything was clean. I loved the distance between the bedrooms. The cabana is near everything including my favorite Britts donuts and Krazy Kones. Had a very pleasant stay will return.

Good condo with a great view

Location, parking, beach access all very good! One shower for all is hard to manage after a sandy day at the beach, and no dishwasher are the only down points.

Great location - could have been cleaner.

The location of this condo is great - right on the beach and walking distance to many places. The condo is VERY small - I think even saying it sleeps four is a stretch. Luckily there were only two of us and it was comfortable. The setup is a little strange, as the only full bath is in what I’ll call the ‘master suite.’ This is fine for a family, but if you are with friends or another couple you’d have to go into their bedroom to get a shower. Not the worst thing, but definitely not preferred. It definitely could have been cleaner upon arrival - the floors were so filthy that I wore my flip flops inside. The air conditioner is unbelievably loud - it woke both of us up several times a night. It sounds like a tornado is literally ripping through the room. Make sure you bring ALL of your essentials - toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, etc., as nothing is provided for you. Overall the property worked as a place to sleep and was in a good location in Carolina Beach.

Never Again

The unit was DEFINITELY NOT big enough for 6! The floors were dirty and NO ONE goes on vacation wash dishes! No dishwasher is unheard of NEVER AGAIN😡😡

Carolina Beach 2019

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Cabana Suites 409. The condo was perfect for our family of 4! Being on the 4th floor, we enjoyed amazing views and could see the Thursday night fireworks from our balcony! The place was clean and the kitchen appeared to have been updated a bit from the photos. The shades for the sliding glass doors were nice too! The kitchen was stocked with pots and pans, but I would recommend bringing your own. I also brought cutting knives. There is no dishwasher, so be sure to bring dish soap! Having a washer and dryer in the unit was very nice as well!!! The sink in the master bath wouldn't drain (not that it was clogged, but you had to lift up drain stopper). Also, renovations are being completed on the unit below, so you could hear them working during the day and I think some of their hammering caused the wiring in master bedroom to fall off wall. Overall, Carolina beach was an awesome place to visit and this unit is really located right on the middle of all the action! Steps from the boardwalk and carnival games, plus many awesome restaurants! We were impressed with all the dining options! The pool at the complex was small and not the cleanest, but my girls didnt seem to mind! The elevator was slow, but there were plenty of stairwell access points. We also enjoyed the locked access to the property. All the owners we met were friendly and welcoming! We will be back! Thank you!

Definitely not wheelchair friendly.

I was prepared to write an extremely negative review. my VRBO search claimed that the unit was wheelchair accessible. Not true. Only quick response by Seacoast rentals staff to correct toilet problem made our stay endurable. The pool is totally inaccessible by wheelchair, and devoid of bathrooms. I would not recommend that any disabled person consider this property unless it can meet ADA guidelines.
