プロスペクトコテージは、北デボン海岸とエクスムーアに簡単にアクセスできるバーンステープルの南数マイルにあるチットハンプトンの美しい村にある2ベッドルームコテージです。 コテージは数百年前に建てられたもので、最近改装され、最大4名まで宿泊できる素晴らしい宿泊施設です。 村の中心部の広場にあり、大きな教区教会と地元の学校の隣にあり、受賞歴のあるベルインから50歩のところにあり、おいしい料理と質の高いビールで評判です。 近くに雑貨屋があります。

Lovely well equipped cottage sited in picturesque square with a beautiful church and surrounding views. Thoughtful games, dvds and jigsaws which added to enjoyment of our stay. Ideal location for exploring beautiful coasts and moorland of Devon.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a charming little village. Well stocked kitchen for cooking. Although we would recommend The Bell as the food was great and plentiful. And the staff very friendly.Yummy treats left,bread,eggs,brownies,bacon nice touch.Perfect place to stay for our break visiting family. Would throughly recommend and hope to return.

Cosy cottage

Nice cosy cottage, clean and tidy, only gripe was there was no dryer to dry washing. Other than that very good.you need a car as it is quite a way from the town in a rural location.we loved it and the bread cake and milk were very welcome thankyou.

Comfortable cottage in picturesque village with handy pub and village shop a few steps away.Cottage is thoughtfully furnished with comfortable beds and sofas, and thoughtful touches such as tissues, ornaments etc.Very practical place to stay for visiting all areas of Devon without the price of a seaside property.

Comfortable and Cosy

Lovely decor and furnishings. Great to have the ensuite and a main bathroom with a bath. Plenty of space in the main bedroom. Walking out of the front door and seeing the magnificent Church was amazing.

Just what we were looking for

Lovely cottage in a nice village with a great pub that serves really good beers and the food is highly recommended. we were looking for a peaceful break with some good walks, you will need a car if you wish to get around but the cottage and the location ticked all the boxes for us.

A week of country life

The property fulfilled all our needs. It was comfy and quiet. Unfortunately on the last night our car, with French registration, was scraped all along the side. Clearly, parking in a public square makes one more vulnerable to such incidents. In every other way the cottage was beautifully positioned close to the church, and not far from the pub and village shop. Although we had cold, grey weather, we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Four night break

The property was ideally located close to local amenities. However you will need a car to get around if you would like to explore further out. The property has everything you would need for a short or longer stay. It is clean and tidy. We had breakfast one morning in the little shops tearoom. An evening meal and drink in the local pub. We would definitely stay here again if it was available at our chosen time. I had a question for the owners before we arrived and they replied quickly.

The perfect cottage, between a church and the pub, in a beautiful village. A fully equipped, comfortable, quiet, relaxing break away from normal hectic life. Easy access to the coast and moorland with Gardens and National Trust properties not too far away.

wonderful cottage & location

A wonderful cottage located in the center of a beautiful village. The cottage was spotlessly clean with everything we required, the welcome pack was much appreciated too. 50yds from the village pub which is highly recommended but be advised to book in advance for a table especially at weekends. Central to all the tourist spots and all within each reach, the scenery in this part of the country is breathtaking. would highly recommend staying at prospect cottage.

A home from home

Moving to Chittlehampton,were looking for somewhere to stay for the first few weeks nearby and Prospect Cottage was perfect. We felt at home immediately, it has a cosy atmosphere with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view looking out of the cottage onto the square is quite charming with the Church at the top the Bell Inn at the bottom and beautiful cottages in between. There is also a fantastic village farm shop, tea shoppe and post office just around the corner which can supply all your needs. We would definitely recommend a stay any month of the year in Prospect Cottage.

couldn't have asked for more

What a lovely cottage. Warm, comfortable and cosy and just right for our short break to Devon. It is so well equipped decorated and furnished that we wanted for nothing. The village is charming with its pub and community shop and a short drive took us to many attractions including the coastal town of Instow. We had such a relaxing time, and were even lucky with the weather, given it was a November break . Our thanks go to the owners who clearly want their guests to have a comfortable stay. We loved it.

One of the best

This cottage was one of our favourite VRBO rentals. Chittlehampton is a lovely small town; the cottage is right on the main square between the church and the pub; and the house is charming, clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed for a week’s stay. We would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wants a base for exploring the SW of England.

Wir hatten einen ganz wunderbaren Aufenthalt im "prospect cottage". Die Lage ist prima, der Ort zauberhaft und das Cottage einfach nur wunderbar. Uns fehlte es an nichts! Besonders herauszustellen ist, dass das Cottage sehr sauber war und bestens ausgestattet. In der Nähe ist ein Pub, in dem man gut essen gehen kann. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur weiterempfehlen.

North Devon Short Stay

Lovely setting in the square. Quiet environment with ample parking. We had a number of local activities in the square that livened up the evenings despite the dreary weather. Overall the stay was very comfortable in a well appointed unit.

We have someone who lives a few doors away from the cottage who looks after it for us when we are not there

Our cottage is in the heart of Chittlehampton which is a lovely Devon village of about 800 people. It has a thriving village life centred around the local pub and also easy access to Exmoor and the North Devon coast which met our needs for a home from home.
