ようこそザ・ソルト・シャックへ...私たちの美しいオープンフロアプラン・ビーチ・リトリート！ この3階建ての家は、美しい中世のモダン/インダストリーの素朴なテーマで装飾され、家具が置かれています。 家が賃貸借として提供されたのは初めてで、2016年のシーズンは、ソルト・シャックが新しい装飾とアメニティでリフレッシュされました。 この家のユニークなフロアプランには3つの非常にプライベートなベッドルームがあり、それぞれに専用バスルーム（2つのスイート）があります。

Very cozy property!

This property was in a beautiful community that had all the amenities of the pool, Gym, Play area for kids and on a beautiful golf course. Very close to grocery store. Also very close to downtown Bethany. Our issue was just getting on the beach was very hard to park, but we ended up finding another local beach right there called three R’s . That was a beautiful beach as well. Would definitely recommend the salt shack…

Relaxing Stay at the Salt Shack

Our group of seven (4 adults and 3 children) along with our dog had a wonderful stay at the Salt Shack in February. The house was so spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything that we needed, and we appreciated all of the little touches that made it feel like home. House was incredibly clean upon arrival, great showers, and fun decor. We were sad when our stay was over! We'll definitely keep Salt Shack in mind for future visits to Bethany Beach!

Open and spacious

We have stayed at the Salt Shack many times and it is always clean and welcoming. The main living area is open and spacious and perfect for families to spend time together. It is a short drive to the beach, the boardwalk and an even shorter drive to the grocery store. The Salt Pond community is very friendly and you will always see families taking walks, bike rides and going to the pool. My family looks forward to our trip to the Salt Shack every time.

Amazing beach house

Cozy home with all the amenities for children, pets and families. Absolutely, one of the best homes I have stayed in and I believe it's our fourth time staying here.. We will be back next year. Salt Shack

The Salt Shack property is a lovely home in a very nice neighborhood. It is well furnished and supplied with everything one might need, including recreation. We were quite surprised with bicycles, beach chairs, and everything else in the garage! Thank you!! The only downside, we feel, is the lack of a screened porch to escape from the flying, biting insects. We felt a bit walled in and couldn't enjoy the evenings as much as we would have liked. Other than that, we had a grand vacation.

Great house in a great location

We loved this house! Here's why: You can walk to most of the amenities. Golf, driving range, pools, clubhouse, tennis, etc. are all with in walking distance. Kayaks are a short drive. The kayaks are at the boat launch already so you don't have to haul them down there. It's about a 5 min drive to the beach and downtown. There's also a supermarket at the entrance to Salt Pond...very convenient! This house had everything! We love to cook so we brought a few pots, pans and other kitchen items. There was no need! The kitchen was stocked way past our expectations. It also had beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing rods, bikes, kayaks, boogie boards, etc! Again, no need to bring your own. The backyard was so peaceful and relaxing! The deck area has a large dining table, a cooking area with a BBQ, a bunch of plants and flowers and an outdoor shower. The backyard is wooded, had a hammock and a firepit and there is a small pond. The plants and flowers seemed a little thirsty when we arrived so I adopted them as my own and watered them a few times. Even the couple that I had no hope for made a full recovery!! Robin was great! She responded quickly before and during our stay with some questions we had. The owners did a great job leaving helpful tips around the house to make the different features easier to navigate. i.e the oven. You will not regret booking this house. If you do please leave a week open for us next summer lol.

Best place ever!

This will be our second time vacationing at the Salt Shack. It feels like a home away from home! It is a beautifully decorated beach house, a wonderfully equipped kitchen with inside and outside dining areas, comfortable beds, and 3 full bathrooms. The neighborhood is quiet with all the recreational amenities, a grocery store nearby, a whole system of nature trails to explore, and the beach a short drive. Our family has rented vacation homes in Bethany for many years, but nothing suits our needs as well as the Salt Shack.

just what we needed

2020 hasn’t really been a good year. Being able to go back to our home away from home, gave my family just a little sense of normalcy. My kids think it is “their” beach house. I love writing in the scrapbook/guestbook every year and looking back at what we wrote years before. If the owners ever decide to sell, we would buy in a heartbeat.

Excellent Beach House!

We had a great stay at the Salt Shack. The home was exceptionally clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay, and more. Robin, the property manager, was helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!

Best Bethany Beach house!

This was our 3rd year in a row staying at the Salt Shack and as always it was great. Beautiful home which is well maintained and roomy. Our family of 8 looks forward to it every year. A short ride to the beach..

Pleasant Stay

A very nice home with all the amenities, comfortable for my husband, myself and two almost teens. The upstairs master is tucked away which affords some nice privacy. We really enjoyed the back deck which has great evening fairy lights and a cool little fire tower perfect for making s’mores. It is a bit of a drive to get to the ocean, so not the right place for you if you want to be easy walking distance to the beach. If you like golf, pool, or relaxed kayaking this is a great location and the owners have gone to great lengths to provide all the amenities for these activities. Quiet and safe-feeling community. Very nice grocery store in walking distance.

George and Barbara live in New Jersey and have four grown children and one grandchild, who are the center of our lives. We are both still working and someday hope to retire to our new beach house in Delaware! Until then, we will continue to enjoy our busy lives in New Jersey spending time with our families, traveling, cooking and taking our nightly walks along the beautiful Delaware River.

George and Barbara have enjoyed family beach vacations for generations and recently purchased this home to be able to continue the tradition for generations to come. We chose Bethany Beach and, in particular, The Salt Pond Community for all that it has to offer in addition to beach activities. It’s natural wooded setting, accessibility to the 100-acre Salt Pond for canoeing and kayaking, nearby wooded bike trails, golf, tennis and community pool all bring additional amenities that add to the quality of our “family time” together. Having four adult children with many different interests, we wanted to be sure there was something for everyone, including out new grandson!
