Beautiful house steps away from the beach. We enjoyed spending time out on the screened porch. The house well taken care of, clean, and had eveything we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home directly on the beach. The weather was perfect. The home was beautiful and the location excellent . We highly recommend and will most definitely try to stay here in the future.

Summer 2025 trip

Had issues getting in touch with property management upon arrival, to get lock box code. However after getting code had no other issues and house was as advised. I would definitely stay again.

The perfect getaway

We loved everything!! The only surprise is that the furnishings and flooring have changed from what is presented in the listing. The colors are darker and not very beach-like. It didn’t really bother me because I was outside or on the screened porch all day long but family members who were inside more commented on the dark colors and the difference from the listing. I would suggest updating the photos in the listing.

3 weeks of Heaven

We arrived three days after Helene. There was no visible damage to Port St. Joe and only minor erosion on the beach, which quickly recovered after a couple of high tides. The house is clean and well appointed. All appliances work. Lots of towels, wash cloths, and cookware. Visitors have perfect unobstructed views of sunsets. Dozens of dolphin. I would easily rebook this house.

Sister Week

We were scheduled while hurricane Debbie was active, Thankfully it missed us but the owners were responsive to my inquiries and I was comfortable with their assurances. The house is clean and well decorated. Great place!

Great property!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We love the house, it is the perfect size for my family of six (but it can accommodate more people). It was clean and nicely decorated with everything you need. We also love that is is right on the beach and within walking distance of the store, the donuts and Peachy’s restaurant.

Beautiful Home, Beautiful Location

We loved our stay in this beautiful home. The location was awesome (right on the beach, walkable to several little places for food, conveniences, etc). Loved having the screened in porch + the lower deck which we utilized a lot depending on the weather/time of day.

Fantastic Beach Vacation!!

Wow! This house is so close to the water, it's amazing! Perfect location! We (2 couples) vacationed here in late October and had absolutely beautiful weather all week long. One couple took the King Suite downstairs, and the other couple took the Queen Suite upstairs. We each had privacy and our own bathroom. The third bathroom on the main floor was great, so the couple using the upstairs suite didn't have to go upstairs every time they needed to use the washroom. Enjoyed many walks on the beach, had a fire on the beach one night (crossed that off the bucket list!) and made s'mores. The screened porch is perfect for morning coffee/tea and watching the gorgeous sunsets every evening - which were directly in front of us! We walked one day to the little shop close by to get an ice cream, and bought donuts from Weber's little donut shop one morning - delicious. Note: get there early before the line forms. When they sell out, they close. We did not use the grill, or any of the chairs/umbrellas that were available for guests (we brought our own), but noticed that they had quite a bit in the downstairs closet. Great place! Would definitely recommend.

Home Away From Home

Sandcastle was everything we hoped for and much more. It is very well maintained, very well stocked, and very clean. The beds are really comfortable. The screened porch was a huge bonus! Access to the beach was a little challenging but we worked around that. Obviously that is something that can’t be helped. Did not hinder our beach experience at all. The homeowners are great to work with. If you’re looking for your home away from home, look no further. Highly recommend Sandcastle!

Always Perfect

The house is clean. The kitchen had all the necessities. It is convenient to the fish market and convenience store. We enjoyed the screened porch and the open deck. Beach access was a little difficult due to the sand dune but we made it work. Love this place. We will be back. 2nd time renters.

Great Location and House!

This is a great property. Superb views and great open space concept. The house itself is well stocked with dishes, linens, towels, and beach goodies. The beach itself is 20 feet away from the soft sand Cape San Blas beach. Walking distance to the Trading post for groceries, alcohol, donuts, and ice cream. The only cons I have are the beds are uncomfortable and probably due to be replaced and I wish there was a propane grill instead of charcoal. But those are minor and I will definitely book again.

Bucket list fire on the beach

The house was exactly as described. Very clean and everything we needed. Directly on the beach. We would certainly recommend this house and location for families. The kids made friends and played on the beach while we enjoyed the fire. We roasted marshmallows and the sunsets were gorgeous.
