My wife & I are from LA and have been looking at moving our family to Lake Norman. We stayed at this place for several nights to do some recon of the areas, and wanted to stay on the water to see what it was like. The home was quiet and quaint, and we fell in love with the area. So much so, we’re moving to NC!

This was a quaint cottage by the lakeshore. It was a beautiful setting with great lake access. The area was quiet and peaceful, and close to amenities.

Beautiful little cottage!Unfortunately the Lake was 5ft below pool & only 2ft at the dock so we couldn't bring our boat & also the weather wasn't great.......but.......we did have fun with our friends playing pool, eating seafood, cooking on the grill & enjoying some cocktails. We did get to go out on the lake with our friends jet skis the last couple of days of our vacation when it finally stopped raining. Super cute place!

What a wonderful rental! This house has everything you need for a relaxing stay on Lake Norman. The deck was our absolute favorite place to hang out day and night as we were blessed with near perfect weather. The kitchen lacks for nothing and is well appointed with every kitchen tool imaginable. We did not use the lower level. The beds were comfortable but I had an extremely, yet comically, difficult time getting on the bed in the Master. I found a small set of bed steps in the second bedroom on day 3, so it was fine after that. My only complaint was the lake access. There was no designated area to enter the lake so you had to climb over rocks near the dock, or wade through thigh-high vegetation and mud (and things washed up on shore) to swim. Being in our late 50's/early 60's, it was a challenge, but did not keep us from enjoying the lake. I would recommend this home!

Really cute cottage and met all our needs. Too bad the lake is so low, but the guys still got to catch some fish.

We came for lake time and this location did not disappoint. My husband and 18 year daughter spent plenty of time fishing off the dock and kayaking. I spent lots of time on the shady deck reading. We enjoyed watching the Osprey dive for dinner, the heron perched for what seemed like hours without moving and momma duck keeping her ducklings in line. The bright inside was a perfect reprieve from the afternoon heat.

We are sorry that the last guest did not take care of the kayaks properly, we wish you would've reported this to us as we could have had maintenance take care of the kayaks for you. We are glad you enjoyed your stay minus the kayaks, and we would love to host you again.

Good stay

The house was clean and comfortable. It’s a small place but that’s ok when you’re spending most of the day of the lake. The bathrooms aren’t great but good enough. Only one tv and it’s not a smart tv so we couldn’t enjoy our favorite shows at the end of the day. Otherwise we liked our stay.

Nice weekend get away!

The cottage was cozy and clean! Ended up not having a dishwasher 😞. Was really excited about the dock and enjoyed sitting by the water. Just wish there was a ladder in the dock to get out of the water. The deck was amazing! Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Great house, very relaxing and spectacular views. The bed was rock hard though and no fan in bath.

We had a wonderful time floating in the lake and relaxing on the deck. The house is quaint and the property is amazing but the deck needs some TLC. Cobwebs and dust everywhere. We had a really relaxing time and would book again.

Worked great but were mislead about the basement. Didn’t know that there wasn’t an access from the first floor to basement without going outside.
